history: like any normal bat Roland lived in a cave but was captured by geneticist trying to manipulate genetic coding for a infamous pirate and to be sold in the pirate underworld, (the technology to manipulate genetic coding that is) the experiments went terribly wrong hte genetiscist messed with something unfahtomable the anmals began taking on grotesque appearances the further the experiments continued. The genetiscist saw the inhumanity of there experiments and decided to put the animals out of there misery. The animals found a way to escape and Subject 5 fled to a nearby island Cocamaru Island and lived in its tropicals for months until meeting a kind human Seth and taking a liking to Seth the bat followed Seth to his lab as Seth took studies on a devil fruit, Subject 5 consumed the dissected pieces of the devil fruit and two gray stitched patches formed on the bat. Seth decided to study the patches and discovered a spacial dimension where items could be held where within the patches. Seth decided to leave engineering designs and his guns inside these spacial realms
