Pk Pirates Chapter 3: Rise of The Great Cthulu

"Huh? That tone... What is this?" Sculpris said during his sleep. He could listen to a sound of an harp, a very melodious sound. The sound was not as great as the sound of the flute, at least for Sculpris, but the musician could actually agree that it was good. "An harp..." he said with a serious voice during his sleep and then he immediately woke up to see the man behind the harp, the one who was playing the musical instrument and piqued his curiosity. "So, it is you..." Sculpris said with a serious tone to the man with the harp. Even if Sculpris had trouble with people, he could at least get along with people who knew how to play a musical instrument as he could see the common interests between himself and them and also he saw them as friendly rivals. Then, he grabbed his flute and he prepared himself to play his melody.

The muse lifted his hand to signal Crystalis to put his instrument down, he scribbled some notes and words onto a piece of paper and shoved it in Crystalis's pocket, "There's my arsenal use it wisely!" The muse then picked up his harp and sword and said, "Let's get this training started." The muse strummed the harp and said, "Until the end of the tournament you won't be a coward." The hypnotic flow rang through the strings and then the muse said, "This training session you will train and train and train." Another strum rang through and then the muse rushed at Crystalis.

[2 weeks later]
The muse was strumming his harp as he sat on a rock and looked at what he molded Crystalis into, "You may go now!" The muse smiled and began his harp practice.

Crystalis smiled and he started leaving. Apparently, after his training with the man these 2 weeks, he had become stronger and he slightly managed to overcome his agoraphobia to the point that he was not getting scared in a battle. He was afraid of the existence of people around him but now he was not afraid of their power, as he believed that he was strong enough to defend himself at this point. "Thank you, sensei." he said while he was leaving.

( Forests and village)
As Helena Penelope Walker, sitting atop her horse companion Dobbins, followed the rest of the crew through the forest, she frowned a little at the tale of Cthulu stated; "That would seriously suck if some huge squidy man showed up, anything that big must be dangerous, even if they dont mean to be! Right Dobbins?" The long-arm doctor petted her devil-furit-weapon-horse affectionatly who neighe din gruff agreement, before smiling at Sculpris' musical talents.
This Smile faded ofcourse when she was met with the sight along with the other crew members of a town made of mud huts and chapels being razzed to the ground, much to her horror, and Dobbins anger at seeing horses flee in panic, though both were relived as the culrpit responsible was taken out by Blake, and looked on in suprised confusion at the sudden aperance of greatful locals, until Helena tumble off of Dobbins back as he accidently was set to sleep along with the other horses when Sculpris played his flute, and reverted back to his original form as a lance. Helena simply picked up in slight embaressment, not uttering a word.
Not having much of a chance to say anything, she yelped in suprise as Dante was shot by a dart, and the sudden stand off between him and a tattoed robed stranger who quickly fled thereafter. "What the hell is going on in this island? We just got here and im already confused", she spoke out lound in puzzlement, scratching her head as she watched the assualtan jetting through the sky with fire. She quickly changed her tune as Danto suddenly collapsed ans assisted carrying him into the villages medical centre, and Helena also planned to treat Danto herself, though realised that the staff were capable of treating him, and wouldnt be too cheerful about a stranger suddenly using their supplies. She listended to the village chiefs tale of the island, the assualtant that was his son, and the Cthulu order, listening intensely and seriously, nodding in agreement with the statement that Danto was poisoned.
She was just as suprised with the rest of the crew at the sudden comotion and rushed out to be welcomed by a small army. Quickly Helena shook Dobbins, whom was still snoozing in lance form, and shouting at him; "Rise and shine buddy! We got work to do!", to which he quickly awoken and transformed into his bizzare hybrid hform, his head that of a lance with furious eyes and the body of a small three legged horse. Helena grabbed it's back leg and charged through the enemy as the PK Pirates began there retaliation against the Cthulu folowers, simply striking down the grunts of their army without and notice of the three officers that appeared. So oblivous of them she was, she was met in shock as she turned round to see Blake knoced unconcious by one of them, who announced there was two days until some form of contest was about to occur, but not before Sculpris was also defeated.
After they left, Helena and Dobbins assisted with the treatment to her fellow pirates, sitting pondering on the crews next move alongside Dobbins before they both gave up and simply went for a little stroll around the village. before bumping into Blake, Danto and Sculpris suddenly ran off to train themselves. They sprinted past her before she had a chance to speak with them and giggled to herself. "Typical huh Dobbins? as soon as they recover, they all rush off! Guess it might be something to do with those games the chtulu creeps mentioned huh?", she babbled happily to her strange companion who merely snorted, currently in his horse form. The two then saw the village chief and rushed up to him, with Helena asking him in a sing song voice; "Hey chiefy! Were'd everyone rush off to? Is it about the stuff those wierd squid huggers were on about?"

[2 weeks earlier]
The chief explained to Helena that the boys were preparing for a tournament and that he would teach her doctoral arts for the next 2 weeks.

Blake walked out of the walked out of the room and as the door opened flames busted out of the room following Blake. Blake's pants were charred and his shirt was burned off and Danto kicked down a line of spiked dummies making a path for himself. Danto and Blake met in the middle of the village and smacked each other five and walked to the chief's place to get a change of clothes that he prepared for them. Blake got into his new clothes and so did Danto and they went back to meet with Helena and wait for Crystalis so they could head towards the tournament grounds.

Crystalis was prepared after his training with the muse, and not only that, but also he felt more confident. Even if he was hesitant with other people, now he was not a coward and he started slightly believing in his own powers. As a result, with a boosted ego, Crystalis was ready to move for the tournament and assist his captain at taking down the enemies before they would start their fearsome plan. He arrived at the meeting point and he waited for his comrades to arrive as well.

After the two weeks of training, Helena felt she was ready to take on the Cthulu Trials. Or whatever it was called, Helena didn't really remeber what it was called, and Dobbins didnt really care what is was called. What they did care about, was they both not only trainned more throughly in the combatic arts, but Helena also learnt the medical ways of the locals.
She left the chiefs hut with Dobbins and called back; "Thanks chiefy! I bet I cant take those cthulu creeps now!" They decided they were ready.

Blake lifted his fist in the air and said, "PK Pirates time to move out we better head to the tournament!" Blake began to walk as the chief handed them things they would need for the trip, and handed Helena a special tea that was supposed to heal wounds very quickly. Blake walked with his crew and he saw in the distance a tournament stadium so giant that it could be seen through the thick island foliage was standing in the middle of the island. Blake took a deep breath as they finally reached the registration and Blake said, "I would like to sign up the PK Pirates for the tournament." The registration secretary squeaked up with there perky voice, "I should let you know that in order for your crew to compete you would need three representative fighters and 1 sideliner who can step up and fight or do things such as be a doctor." Instantly Blake knew who was who, Blake signed himself Crystalis and Danto for fighters and Helena as sideliner and they walked in and the man told them who they would each be facing in the first round.

Alex had been sleeping in a corner every since registration started. Like some others that had shown up at the tournament, he was "persuaded" by the cthulu pirates to join... Only he was not willing to waste time fighting them and came without conflict, as seemed most logical. He had been the first one to register of all the participants. (Blake, please explain how I am a representative fighter for someone... I have no clue on what to do here to make it work to the plot, so best leave it to the guy in-charge if you know what I mean). He smelled something like cinders from a fire-place. Being a fishman and all the works, he immediatly woke up to the smell, to find it was another pirate. Why he smelled like fire he didn't know, but who cared? He didn't. Fire had nothing to do with the tournament. He went back to sleep, waiting for something eventful... The start of the tournament, a conversation, a rebellion, something entertaining frankly. He dreamed of all the different kinds of people he might end up fighting... His skin tingled with electricity a few times in his dreams due to the realistic qualities of the dream battles.

(Murmuring)"Yeah, go and swing that sword at my neck arteries. You're just an amateur, so I'll end it quick (pause) how do you like that? Stop struggling, your only hurting yourself at this point, bitch."(normal volume sleep-talking).

(Two weeks later)

As soon as she was handed the apparently the miracle cure herbal tea and assorted provisions, Helena and her trusty devil fruit weapon ‘Dobbins’ followed alongside Blake, Danto, and Crystalis, the long-arm doctor sitting atop the back of her faithful, currently-a-horse companion, until they arrived at their destination, a gigantic arena, which it’s immense size poking through the jungle canopy, made Helena and Dobbins wonder how on earth they missed it before.
As Blake applied the positions for the crew members in the tournament, Dobbins was unhappy with being put in reserve with Helena. So unhappy in fact, he neighed furiously and reared up to stand on it’s hind legs to knock Helena tumbling down off his back and landing with a perfect handstand, more down to sheer luck rather than skill, while Dobbins continued to stomp in frustration. She tottered over next to he equestrian friend and simply told him cheerfully; “Now now Dobbins no sulking! If Blake say’s were reserve, were reserve! I am a doctor after all, so if anything happens to me who’s going to patch up the rest of them when things get to rough and tumble? Besides, were technically the ace in the hole!” Dobbins merely snorted moodily but seemed to relax somewhat, returning to what ever counted as normal for a lance-horse.

(Your not representing its only for team regestration) As registration finished Blake stood like a wide eye little kid awestruck at the crowd, "Hundreds maybe thousands here to see me win, man I'm so pumped." Blake then turned to all potential opponents and was just amazed at some Blake could tell skill level by just looking and he knew there were some strong people in here. Then annoucers voice then rang snapping Blake out of his awestruck state, "Ladies and Gentlemen, today is the day of the cthulu tournament, we appreciate your attendance and it's nice you get to see these people go brawl it out and for the first match Mizuaki vs The PK pirates very own Danto!" Boos and hisses were aims at Danto and they knew why, peaceful islanders would probably always hate piraes and what they do. Danto got ready to fight Mizuaki, a regular old swordsmen not strong, "Not even close to Crystalis!" Danto muttered and then when the match began closed his eyes and took a deep breath, Mizuaki jumped in the air and in a split second Mizuaki was unconscious. To the untrained eye it looked as if Danto just stood there but for expeienced fighters they saw Danto quickly outstretched his hand and punch Mizuaki that fast. "So that's what he's been doing for 2 weeks

Helena was ecstatic at the sight of the crowd, cheering back at them in excitement and waving her long double elbowed arms franticly at them, shouting out; "Ha! Hey! We came to kick butt and look awesome! We're the PK Pirates! Alright, give a cheer for me and Dobbins!", while Dobbins neighed in excitement, it's proverbial blood boiling in excitement. They quickly shifted to the side lines along with the rest of the crew in time to be confused at the sudden boo's of Danto's announcal, Helena sighing in thinking they were gonna get a tough crowd in this tournament, with Dobbins stomping furiously. It was a mere few seconds as Danto won his first match, with the elderly swordsman going down in a single strike, to which Helena was awe struck.
"Wow! That sure went easily! If there all like this we wont have much trouble!", Helena giggled, with Dobbins merely neighing in grudging agreement.

Danto walked off the arena and into the team area, and blushed as Helena excitedly cheered for him. A few matches in round 1 passed by and then the MC announced, "By order of the tournament organizer we will be having a tag team free for all, the sub member must be involved in this match!" The crowd went wild as many teams went out and sub members jumped from where they were entering the ring. "Helena come on it's me and you!" Blake lifted his fist and once again he had noticed he was so excited his feet lit on fire. Blake patted the fire out and ran into the ring, all of the man seemed atleast 3 times buffer than Blake, then Blake sneered, "All that you guys are, are a bunch of bandits!" The bandits seemed to turn there attention to the scrawny Blake they were atleast 2 feet taller and looked down on him.

Crystalis was playing his flute the whole time. He was kind of scared because there were many people around, watching the tournament event. That was too bad... His agoraphobia was coming back. At least he had his flute and his friends around. They were granting him power, even if he did not actually show it. For a few seconds, afterwards, he stopped playing the flute. He took a smile on his face and he cheered for Danto and Helena for a few seconds "You can do it!" he said quickly and he immediately continued playing the flute. He was not feeling very well when he spoke... Speaking like that in front of so many people... That was a great improvement for Sculpris.

Helena was suddenly struck with suprise when the announcement that the subsitutes would have to join the next fight, though Dobbins was very much overjoyed at the prospect of battle, pretty much dragging Helena into the arena alongside Blake, though Helena wasn't too stunned to avoid holding up the hand gesture for victory to Danto and Crystallis with a grin, before regaining composure, and leaping atop Dobbins back.
She then shook her head at Blake's taunting, merely stating to him; "Now, now, these guys dont look to happy about being taunted at Blake, they are just contestants like us afterall, anyways, is this just gonna be another fight or we doing something different?"
Dobbins merely snorted and scrapped his hoof on the ground, looking ready for just the right excuse to charge.

"It's a last man standing thing, we gotta make sure were both standing at the end." The MC screamed into the mic, "Let the battle begin!" All the thugs dog piled on Blake and the audience cringed in pain at the the thought of how contorted Blake's body would be. Soon men came flying out the dog pile, their bodies smoking and soon when only a few were left they saw, Blake didn't have a scratch on him and his fist were wrapped in flames. 2 tag teams were left standing, Blake and Helena vs. some weird guys in robes, "They must be from Cthulu's cult!" Blake rushed at the robed guy and they clashed fists. "Dobbins make sure Helena is safe."

“Alright announcer guy! Time to whack some strangers!” Helena shouted out and giggled to herself, though her laughter turned to a grimace as Blake was suddenly pilled on by a large number of the contestants, though sighed in relief as he took care of the situation himself. She then stirred a little as Blake told Dobbins to protect her to which she replied with more laughter.
“Silly Blake, are you forgetting I can fight too? C’mon Dobbins, lance mode!” the long-arm doctor cried out as her horsey companion suddenly shifted into a lance, which Helena quickly grabbed and dashed towards the cthulu worshiping contestants.
“Thrice Thrust!”, she cllaed out, as she lunged at the nearest opponent with her lance, aiming for the chest, legs and head respectively.

OOC: when I asked about me being a representative, I was asking who my team is for this. I need a team don't I?

Alex opened his eyes and watched as the preparations started to come together. The round was starting soon, and everyone seemed to be enthusiastic... Except Alex, who was as passive and analytical as ever. He pondered the idea of who he might fight against, and who he would lose against... Or would he win it all? He'd have to wait and find out.

Blake ran at the man and ripped off the cloak and squid like appendages where there under the cloak, Blake punched the squid in the face tentacles and felt a sticky green goop bonding him with the squid and Blake felt like his energy was lowering slowly but he couldn't break free. Blake with his free hand generated a fire ball in his hand and wrapped the flames around his fist, Blake screamed, "I may not be able to fully use the potential of this attack but eat it!" Blake uppercutted the squid man in his stomach and sent him twirling in the sky, the flames engulfed the squid's body ,"Blooming Lotus Flare!" The squid began to fall and crashed outside the ring, Blake saw Helena rushing with Dobbins, Blake shot a fireball in front of Helena and Dobbins to halt them and warn them in time about the squid's energy sapping goo and Blake said he would leave the rest to them. (Phantom you don't need to be on a team)

Helena stared in surprise and utter confusion as Blake fought against the squid man, her captain warning them of his powers, but shook herself out of the befuddling trance and continued her assault, swinging and lunging with Dobbins in lance form wildly, hoping to land as many strikes as possible at her be-robbed opponents.
"What the hell was that squidy thing? I heard of fishmen but that thing isn't a fish is it? More of whatever squids are. Anyways, back to beating u strangers!", she chatted to herself quite happily.

The squid man, not wanting the same fate as his partner jumped out the arena, and was given a stadium out. "Ok moving on to the next round, Crystalis vs Ruttabegga!!!" A man with dripping acid looking muck that dripped from his fingers stepped onto the ring. The announcer continued, "Ruttabegga was created in a freak lap accident with a devil fruit and a human, and now he is here today to compete in our humbled tournament." Blake sized up Ruttabegga and whispered in Crystalis's ear, "He tougher then any opponent we have faced so far in this round watch out for the muck."

"Right." Sculpris said and he prepared himself for the battle. Oh, that battle... People were watching... Even if Sculpris was much better than he used to, he was still getting scared in the presence of people, unless he closed his eyes and had his flute... Yes... His flute. And now, he was going to use every strategy he had under his arsenal in order to defeat the enemy, as much as possible so that he would not have to suffer anymore from his agoraphobia. He had to win quickly so that people would not look at him.

"I am going to be quick..." Sculpris said and he grabbed his flute as soon as he entered the ring. He looked towards Ruttabegga for a second and then he closed his eyes. He started playing a very melodious piece of music for a while. And that was none other than his signature First Melody that could make the enemy stop doing anything and stare in awe towards the direction of Sculpris for a while, even for some time after he stopped playing the flute.

Before being hypnotized by the soothing melody, Ruttabegga dropped from each finger a small pile of sludge that began to drag itself towards Crystalis. The sludge each turned into a little copy about 2 1/2 feet high and they all stared down at Crystalis. Each jumped back about 3 feet backwards and shot balls of the sludge towards Crystalis. The announcer yelled, "Ruttabegga has now activated his 100 Punch Shot Attack!" The announcer jumped up and spun as he excitedly said it. "So what will Crystalis do in this situation?" The announcer was basically hopping with excitement on top of his announcing table, shaking it.

Akio sat in the stands his arms folded, he laid back on his chair and watched the battle un fold before him. It looked like Crystalis's enemy was a skilled fighter. However Akio had faith in him, he knew he would come out victorious. Akio watched as the two faced off and heard the announcer's comment.

Things were getting really interesting.
