Name: Stephen Long
Age: 19
Bounty: 1,000 (from being in the pirate crew for 19 years)
Species: Human
Occupation: Swordsman
Allegiance: Pirate
Home Village/Ocean: South Blue
Appearance: Stephen is a lean young adult. He has relatively fair skin without any real markings. The most prominent marking is dark blue cross over his left breast. His eyes are a yellowish color, with his cornea not very prominent against his eye color. He has narrow shoulders and a relatively thin waist. His waist is higher up than most men at his age, though not by a lot. Because of this increased hight, he has long legs. His arms reach about a third way down, passed his waist though not to his knee.
Stephens hair is kind of long, though not as long as some men and women. It is very messed up, with hair going left and right, up and down. His actual hair color is a golden blond, with it darkening towards the back of his head. The hair reaches down past his eyes in some areas, and his hair tends to clump together to make spikes.
His face, like the rest of his skin, is pale. The skin on his lips are a bit chapped, though not cracking. His ears break through his hair, and are not fully connect to his head (the extra skin exists on the bottom). He doesn’t have any facial piercings, nor does his have any facial tattoos. His chin comes down to a rounded point, and about an inch above his chin is his mouth. He doesn’t possess many facial features that cause him to stand out.
Stephen usually wears a navy blue button down shirt with a black t-shirt underneath it. The button down is usually open. The t-shirt is a V neck which reveals the edge of his collar bone. He wears a necklace with a sharks tooth as a pendent. The necklace itself is made of leather. Stephen, with his usual outfit, wears blue jeans and brown shoes. His blue jeans cover up half of the back of his shoe, but doesn’t go underneath his shoe if he steps. Stephen wears a brown leather belt to keep his blue jeans up with a relatively large, silver belt buckle, though it isn’t shaped like anything. He wears a watch on his right arm, with the part that tells time facing the same way as his palm. On his right hands ring finger, Stephen wears his ring. His ring is a silver ring with a black onyx on top.
When he chooses to wear formal attire, it is almost alway a black suit. The suit was hand made, specifically for Stephen. The tux part of his suit has double breasted pockets and comes down to a V shape just above his navel. He wears an ironed white button down shirt underneath, with a red tie covering up his buttons. The button down’s arms are a tad longer than the suit’s, so it reveals itself most of the time. Stephen also wears silver cufflinks in the shape of a cross. His pants’s legs stop right after the ankle, revealing a very small part of a black sock. He wears black shoes with tassels on both sides, being attached in the middle. To prevent his pants from falling, he wears a black leather belt that has a dull silver belt buckle.
History: Stephen was born at sea in the South Blue. His parents were both marines, though he doesn’t no this. They were not high ranking, only being Ensigns, but they were well respected among the marines on this particular ship. Everyone on the ship was excited for the birth of Stephen, except for the captain of the ship. For starters, the captain believed that a ship was no place for a birth, and the captain had a thing for Stephen’s mother. As punishment for this “horrific crime”, the captain ordered Stephen’s father and Stephen to be thrown overboard and that anyone who didn’t do as he said will join them. The mother wanted to join them, but the captain wouldn’t allow it, and tied her up as her husband and son were being thrown overboard. Stephen’s father held Stephen up high, as he watched his boat vanish into the horizon.
The father remained afloat for 2 days before any other ship was seen. At first he began to call out for help, until he saw the flag on the ship. The flag possessed a jolly roger on it, and this caused Stephen’s father to stop only momentarily, then he began to cry again, in fear for his famished son. The ship picked up Stephen and his father, and the pirates acted all tough for Stephen’s father. He didn’t care however, thinking his son would be safe. The captain walked out, and pointed his cutlass at Stephen’s father saying,”You have a lot of nerve ask pirates for help, what do you have to say?” To which he replied, “To protect my son...” The captain laughed, and put away his sword. “I am just messing with you. We aren’t like that. Crew, throw this man a feast, and bring milk for his son.” The crew did as they were told. The father was a bit worried, but was thankful for their kindness.
7 years past, and Stephen and his father had become apart of the crew, Stephen being a chore boy, and his father becoming a crewman. Most of the adventures they had were quite dull, the most ever being the running away from a village. While Stephen’s father worked as crewman, Stephen mainly did chores around the ship. Stephen would be allowed to watch the crew men spar, and swordplay. This caused Stephen to become interested in swordplay and the sort.
Life as a pirate was fun for Stephen, and he loved it dearly, however, his father was a bit different. He hated being a pirate, seeing as he was once a marine. Every now and again, he would sabotage something on the ship, though nothing too important. The captain never caught on, until there was a cannon that misfired. He had seen Stephen’s father near the cannon before, though though nothing of it. However, after the misfire, he realized Stephen’s father who sabotaged it. The captain called a meeting, and order Stephen to execute his father, or die with him. His father has his hands bound and was facing Stephen. Right before Stephen said to die with his father, he felt pressure on the cutlass he was holding. He looked, to see his father pierced by the cutlass. He had thrown himself on it, to allow Stephen to not have to make the choice. While Stephen was enraged at the captain, he did understand that what his father had done was wrong.
Another 7 years had passed, and Stephen had achieved the rank of first-mate on the ship. He had gain much respect from everyone, including the former first-mate now captain. Most of the time, the crew somewhat laughed at him, seeing as he was only a 14 year old, but when it came time to command, the crew dared not to speak. Stephen followed the strict rule of the sea; payment for wounds, and if one kills another, a similar fate shall rise. However, if neither of these situations happened, Stephen was a very fun first-mate, beloved by most of the crew. This nirvana lasted until he was 19.
When Stephen was 19, a mutiny arose near loguetown. It was over a treasured item, a devil fruit. Half of the pirates wanted to sell it, while the other half wished to give it to the captain. Stephen was stuck in between the two sides, and did what he had to do; he devoured the devil fruit. The captain was enraged, but because it was Stephen, he exiled him on a near by island. There, Stephen managed to survive, and learn his devil fruits abilities. Eventually, he found a small boat that took him to loguetown.
Personality: Stephen is described as a very "happy" man, and lives up to it. He is rarely seen without a smile on his face. He is a very pleasant guy to hang around with, especially if you aren’t a hypocrite. It doesn't matter who you are, as long as you do good in his eyes, you are already a friend of his. His jokes tend to be on the corny side, though if you can get over that, he is a loyal friend. Mainly to strangers, Stephen is still kind. He isn’t as open when compared to being with friends. It isn’t very easy to become a friend of Stephen, and it usually require trust before friendship. Stephen will talk about himself to a point, though there are some points that Stephen will intentionally leave out. While on the outside he is all happy, on the inside he loves gloom. It isn't gloom like death and pain, but more like rain and overcast. When it is bright and sunny, he feels like he is a vampire with a seven a.m paper route.

Devil Fruit: Taigā Taigā No Mi (Tiger Tiger fruit) Mode: Tasmanian Tiger
type: Ancient Zoan
effect: 1. Human Point: self explanatory
2. Hybrid Point: One's face elongates by about half a foot, forming a muzzle. Fur begins to cover their body, and ears form as well. Their legs grow, and their knees invert. Claws are formed on both hands and feet. The person gains strength, speed, and smell possessed by the Tasmanian Tiger. The mouth is almost identical to the actual tiger, including how wide one can open up their mouth. Also, if bitten, the person is infected with a neural toxin, causing the bitten area to go numb after 3 posts, and wears off after 5 posts after the affect is felt.
3. Tiger point: One turns into a tasmanian tiger, becoming stronger, faster, and more aware than in the previous two forms. The toxin still exists in this form.
(For those who posses the ability to transform 4 more times)
4. Strength point: The appearance of this point is quite similar to the hybrid point. However, the strength once possessed in the jaw moves to the arms, as well as the toxin to the claws. Being in the strength point, the toxin's effectiveness increases as well, coming into affect after 2 posts, though the 5 posts still remain.
5. Hunt point: This point is an increased form of the Tiger point, will most of the abilities doubling. The toxin takes effect after 2 posts, and lasts for 10 posts. However, while in this point, one loses most intelligence, other than who allies are, and rely only on instinct. (In roleplay, they would really just act irrational, charging at the closest guy who has swords, instead of the coward behind him, an so forth).
6. Hybrid point 2: This is similar to the hybrid point, though it appears differently. The lower body is replaced with the body of an enlarged Tasmanian Tiger. This makes the user look like a centaur, except with a Tasmanian Tiger body that has been enlarged. The speed is equal to Tiger point, though the strength is unchanged. There is no venom.
7. Giga point: This is the monstrous form of the Tasmanian Tiger. Where as the normal Tiger point and Hunt point are only a meter and a half tall, this form is 5 meters (about 15 feet) and 7 meters long (about 21 feet). The speed is the same, though the strength is tripled. The venom is the same as the strength point.
Special Abilities: None
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
One Sword Style- Kami no sabaki: Stephen unsheathes his sword at high speed, making look like he just has it out. He unsheathes it, and cuts what he needs too, though there is about a two second delay before the object shows being cut.
One Sword Style- Akuma no sutoraiki: Stephen thrusts his cutlass a rapid speed, causing the illusion of multiple blades coming at once. Appears as 15 swords.
One Sword Style-Boido mitsumeru: Stephen uses this as a feint. He slashes his sword with his left hand, but then throws it to his right. This is followed by a right slash.
One Sword Style-Sekai no konton: Stephen’s ultimate one sword style technique. He begins to charge at the opponent, but jumps at the last second. Quickly, he does a front flip, and slams the blade into the opponent.

Zoan Style- Tasumaniataigā: This is the basis of Stephen’s zoan fighting. He attempts to infect the opponent with his venom, and then pelt them continuously with his attacks. This particular style uses the mouth and claw for ripping and shredding.
Weapons/Items: Cutlass and Rumble Balls
Goals: To either be pirate king, or be one his crewmen
(The devil fruit has yet to be approved, and this will change based on how the devil fruit works out. I just want to get this out now, and then change when needed.)
