History: Little to none information exist for Hyman's past except from the fact that he was born on an island of West Blue, as he said. It is unknown how he gained his fruit and where he grew up or how he mastered his fruit. The first 19 years of his life are nothing more than a void in the files that the World Government has about him (this means that I will explain about his past in his crew's threads). However, one year ago, there was a recent event that made Hyman well-known as a pirate and deemed him a threat for the World Government.

On an island that was usually attacked by pirates, the marines were waiting for the pirates to attack again and arrest them after defeating them. The plan was going on perfectly and it went just like the marines expected. The pirates arrived on the island, as usual, and they started their attack. The marines were dressed with casual clothes so that they would not be understood and in little to no time they surrounded the pirates without them understanding. The pirates would not let them arrest them, though, easily and a battle would start. The pirates counter attacked the marines and in the middle of the island's town a fight took place. The pirates were shooting the marines while the marines would shoot them back. The people of the island were locked in their houses and they would look at the events that were going on from their windows.

And while the battle was going on, a strange figure appeared. It was a figure that was dressed in black clothes and carried a katana at his waist. He had grey hair and a look on his face that showed that he was quite dangerous. The pirates and the marines stopped fighting when they noticed him. They could feel a chill in the air in front of the presence of the man... He was none other than Hyman.

"Who are you?" the marines questioned him. "Are you working with the pirates?"

However, without even responding, Hyman grabbed his katana and pointed with it towards the marines. A rainbow colored spark was seen on the hand that grabbed the sword, as well as the handle of the katana and the blade of the sword was enhanced with it. The blade would not be seen anymore. It looked more like a rainbow colored light saber. Hyman had just enhanced his katana with his fruit powers and made it look like a lightsaber.

"Huh?!" the marines said and Hyman started running towards them. The marines would start shooting towards him but Hyman would simply dodge the bullets by using his fruit ability to enhance his speed and be as fast as a rainbow (very fast, but slower than light). With an evil look on his face, the man slashed the captain of the marines and the man fell down. The marines would try to counter attack him by shooting him but before they could even do so, Hyman pointed towards them with his sword and the rainbow light that was covering his sword was split to several small rainbow beams that stroke the marines and killed them or severely damaged them.

"Are you... with the pirates?" one of the marines that survived questioned but without even answering, Hyman turned towards the pirates and pointed towards them with his katana. He used the same trick to turn it into a lightsaber and he started cutting the air, launching air blades towards them. They were quite fast and before the pirates dodged them or blocked them, they were cut down. Only one pirate stayed still and he started running away. Hyman took an evil smile afterwards and he performed another air slash. However, that air slash was rainbow colored... It was enhanced with his Devil Fruit abilities and so it received the speed of a rainbow, slightly slower than light. The air slash cut the pirate in two. Hyman had annihilated both sides.

Afterwards, Hyman left from the place... And because of the demonstration of this power, he received the bounty of 30,000,000 Beri, a quite high bounty. Now, Hyman is sailing across the seas of the Grand Line, searching for people to join him in his quest to become the pirate king and he is not stopping in front of anything to achieve his goals!

Personality: Hyman is a guy who believes in dreams and that is the reason that he decided to set sail across the seas with the dream to become the one and only pirate king. He believes that as long as the people will have dreams, the world will still keep going on and that the end of the world will take place whenever people stop dreaming. He sees dreams as the moving force that drives the whole world and he deems them necessary for the existence of humanity. People without dreams for him are nothing more than trash and they should be eliminated because they are parasites inside the world that put him in danger. His strong belief over dreams makes him think that if he achieves his dream to become the one and only pirate king, he will motivate other people to start believing in dreams and he will make them start seeking their dreams to come true.

However, even if he has such a noble belief over dreams, he is also a guy who will do anything to achieve his dreams, just like he did on the island of West Blue. He is nothing more than a bastard scum which is willing to step on the corpses even of his own people in order to succeed in his goals. He believes that the dreams of the stronger are the most important and thus he is trying to make his way to become the strongest person so that his own dream will become the most important. He will eliminate anybody who is a threat for him and stops him from making his dream come true.

Behind these things, Hyman also happens to be a cunning mastermind who can easily see behind the masks of people and understand their true colors. He has his own scene of humor, even if his humor is not funny for others. He can humiliate people for his own enjoyment. Finally, he sees far ahead of him and so he is working based on a plan on most occasions. There are only a few times that he is wrong and things do not go as he expected and when that happens he becomes angry enough to sometimes go on a rampage. Even if he is calm enough, he cannot stand seeing other people proving themselves smarter than himself. Its his arrogance that sometimes leads to him going away from his usual traits of behaving.

Overally, Hyman is the kind of pirate who is arrogant, ruthless and evil.

Effect: Niji Niji no Mi is a logia type Devil Fruit that grants the user the ability to have control over rainbows. The control means many things: The user is able to launch rainbow colored rays/beams/blasts/etc against his enemies that are a little bit weaker than laser beams, alter the color of his body, matching the colors of the rainbow and the mixes of the colors (an ability that can be used from the user to adapt his color to the environment and become invisible) and the power to absorb already existing rainbows to increase his power and get an increase in all his aspects (strength, speed, endurance).

Special Abilities:
-Great Speed: Hyman is extremely fast. He can run faster than an average person by himself. This speed is enhanced in the Niji Hokou technique.
-Great Reflexes: Hyman has great reflexes.
-Expert Swordsmanship: Hyman's swordsmanship is one of his greatest skills. He is an expert swordsman who can even cut through steel and launch air blades with his katana.
