CHAPTER 1: Friendship in the land of snow

Martin stood on top of his raft, a smile upon his bright face.

"Hehe~ Konichiwa Island-san" he said to himself with a light tone of voice.

He let out a slight yawn, and slowly began to sit down. He rested his back against the raft and looked up at the sky. It wasn't the best day and it looked like some rain was about to take place. He sighed. Beggers can't be choosers, right? Who cared about the weather..he wasn't gonna let this slight problem stop him. He sat up right once again and faced the island. A cool breeze blew against his face, the island seemed to be filled with snow. As he got nearer to the island some snowflakes began to drop from the sky, Martin let out his hand and one snowflake slowly made it's way to his hand.

"Looks like this island is gonna be a cold one, eh Mr.Snowflake?" he said as the snowflake melted in his hands. He stood on his raft and smiled.

"ADVENTURE!"

As it started to snow, Rytsher put on his coat, eventhough he liked water, he dissliked the cold, it felt unnatural to him that water would freez like that, it didn't feel right, but he had to get used to it, but as always he had a way to warm himself up, he took the guitar he had on his back spun it around him so it landed on his chest and started to play an old seaman song(bink's sake) and sang along to his hearts content.

As Martin approached the cold island, he could here a faint sound. It seemed to be some kind of song, it danced along the cold air and arrived in his ears. Martin's smile grew bigger, he had remembered this song when he was young, his mum always enjoyed to sing it in the past.

"Yohoho..yohohoho~" Martin muttered as his raft made it's way towards the island.

Martin enjoyed the cold, it gave him a chill down his spine. He couldn't wait to arrive on the island. He was very close.

"Haha! Island here I come!"

Rytsher walked in on a bar as he finished the last verse, outside he could hear the islanders applaude him, rytsher walked back out and bowed for the audience, he then walked back into the bar with his hands full with beri from the audience, he placed the beri on the bar desk and said with his baritone voice I'll have as many cup's of coffee, as I can get for these beri's the bar man did some quick calculations and said "that will be 6 cup's of coffee, do you want then one by one" no I'll take them all at once Rytsher said and placed his 6 purple arms on the desk, the bar man jumped but wasn't scared, he just looked at the guy and started filling up the cup's.

Meanwhile in the island...

Two men walked along the pathways of the small village, one seemed to be wearing a long brown coat and wore glasses. While the other had crimson red hair with blue eyes, he was wearing a black coat he also had a katana stripped to his back.

"Are we there yet?" the red haired man asked with a rather ruff tone of voice.

"We get there when he get there, this is the 10th time you asked.." the green haired one replied.




The two began to walk towards a small bar which was in the village. Tom fixed his glasses, he then got out a pistol which was inside his pocket.

"Are we-"

"Yes,Yes we are." Tom quickly uninterrupted.

A big smile grew on Huff's face.

"More killing for me~" he sang to himself as he walked over to the doors of the bar.

He pushed them open quickly, everyone stared at the door, a very frightened look on their face.

"We want our Tax." Tom calmly said.

"I-I don't seem to have 10,000,000 beli yet." the bar tend slowly said.

"Too bad for you then."
