Her ears a very soft and have been compared to marshmallows before. Her eyebrows are very thin as well with a very faint color that makes then almost transparent.
Hair: Kaya's hair is quite thin and smooth with little to no oil ever showing in there. Her hair is very dark blue, but with the thinness of her hair, it looks more like a murky sea foam blue. Her hair is cut very long, but tied in many areas to pull it up by a foot at least. Her hair has several green fabric stripes weaved through her hair which hold it together. She has a habit of weaving her hair through her helmet so that it is visible, even when she is fighting.

Her other outfit that she tends to wear for frequently is a yellow bikini top and a frilled, dark brown skirt that covered her yellow bikini top. Over this second set of cloths she usually wore her suit of Samurai armor.
-Personality information-Personality Overview: First things first, Kaya is very honorable. She refuses to strike a person from behind, even when they are full-out attacking. She despises cheep tricks and always fights her enemies straight forward without any consideration of dying. She believes that giving anything but her all to her opponent is the same as spitting in their face. She always treats people with the most respect, even when deep inside she is boiling with fury.
Kaya is a strong believer in the worth in sacrifice. She believes that the more one gives up, the more they will receive in the end. This connects to honor as well, in that she feels that if one sacrifices their life, it is honorable, even if it is suicide. Kaya is not afraid of death, as she believes that the minute she took up the sword, she had a sword placed against her own heart.
Kaya greatly respects life and death. She has no hesitation in taking life, but only chooses to take life when it is honorable. This rule often leads to clashes with her needs or the law. To her, anything that equates to killing for honor is when the victim is an opponent or if the victim is being sacrificed for something. The sacrifice must be made clear to Kaya or she will not agree with the act. Kaya does not believe in enforcing beliefs onto others should they disagree with her though.
Likes, Dislikes, Hopes and Fears: Kaya loves the sword. She loves practicing her sword style and proving her skill against other swordsmen. She also enjoys calligraphy and music and is very philosophical. She hates sexism in sword styles and has a habit of challenging men to fights should they insult her too much. She considers it a direct insult whenever a swordsman slaps his sheath against her sheath. Her dream is to find herself a lord or nobel that she can swear loyalty to and protect with her life. She fears becoming weak and dying in a dishonorable way.
-History information-**
birth Kaya was born under the blue moon of August. That same night her father had been caught in a dual between his best friend to settle a debt they had. Her father lost the duel and died a warriors death. Her father's friend came only once to their house to return her father's swords. Her mother was very depressed after her father's death and was barely there when she took care of Kaya.
childhood As Kaya grew up, her mother was there less and less of the time. By the time she was eight, her mother would simply cook meals for her and sit there by the window sill and just watch the world pass before her. Kaya used this time to play and scurry around the island to look for adventure. One day she opened up a closet in her house and unearthed her father's swords. She could feel the swords calling to her and she ran of to play with them.
As she began playing out by the rocks, she began going out a long ways away. She slowly but surely ended up spending the night out there and continued running around, swinging the swords like a natural. Then, after she ended up getting lost many miles away from town, she came across a nest of giant seagulls. As she watched them, she found their movements to be very interesting. They were huge so they needed to eat large food, thus protecting Kaya from being eaten by them.
Instead, she watched them and learned how to fight by watching them fight over large fish, or when they tackled dangerous sea creatures. She molded her style of swordplay after their movements and also how the sword felt most right to be used. After a year of hunting alongside the giant seagulls, she returned home, only to find her home to be abandoned. Her mother, without anyone to be there for her, waisted away under her madness and was found dead but a month ago.
adolescence Kaya was then transferred to an orphanage at the age of thirteen and was raised alongside the other children. The children often were wary of her because she refused to give up her father's swords. She later began associating with a group of boys who acted like street punks around the town streets. The leader was named Jun and the two of them would often fight to see who was better. Often Kaya would win their fights and this left a bitter taste in Jun's mouth, but he never acted on it.
When Kaya turned fifteen, she lost her first fight, though it wasn't to Jun. Instead, it was to a large man who one of the fruit vendors they had been messing with had hired to take care of. He caught her alone and beat her until she was bloodied and broken. Luckily, Jun and the rest of the gang came to her rescue and the gang was able to beat him together. After that, Jun cast her out of the gang, telling her that because she was a girl she was only going to get weaker, while the rest of them were only going to get stronger.
Kaya then resigned willingly, realizing that she was weak and ran away from the town. She began training in the wilderness again and decided that the only source of strength that she could find was in the ways that she had gained by herself, rather than the stuff she learned alongside others. She returned to town, she learned that Jun had already run off to be a great swordsman. Deciding that this is the only way for her to get stronger as well, she left to be a Samurai.
