description: The Bashful bulwark is a special kiteshield that is eight inches across at its widest point and twenty-three inches from top to bottom. a thin steel sheet has been bolted to the front of the shield to increase it's durability, with several spikes protruding from the sheet to skewer any opponent bashed by the shield. Two metal hooks curve out downward from the top of the shield for grappling purposes as well. At the very bottom of the bulwark is a two-inch blade that extends downward.

history: The Bashful Bulwark is an heirloom from the Cavedog family. As this treasure was passed down to younger generations of the Cavedogs, they modified it to be more and more dangerous. Garmrik (the current owner) affixed two hooks to the top of the shield to leave his mark on the Bulwark's legacy.
