'The Melon'

Weapon name: 'The Melon'
Description: A bomb which it's caseing mkes it look much like a large yellow melon, with a timer strapped onto it on it's top, where it covers the seal which contains the wires that cause sparks inside the bomb, igniting it's contents and causing it to explode. The timer itself looks like a typical digital clock. The bombs size is the same size and shape as a watermelon.
Weapon special abilities: a truely destructive bomb that rivals the buster call in it's destructive power, though unlike the buster call merely devistates the island and dosn't completely destroy it, and is of a somewhat smaller range. It is a timed device detonating after thirty minutes. This weapon is more of a plot device than an actually useable tool. It is activated by merely flicking a switch on the timer. It can be defused much like any other bomb, though is somewhat easier as the timer can merely be ripped from the bomb along with it's wires, though will expose the mixture inside. The bombs radius is approximately a fifty kilometer diameter from the actual bomb itself.
History: A truely dangerous bomb created by Ellen Niarbel of the Dusk Pirates, after a number of years of experimentation, mixing a number of regents, ingredients and conductors, and created in hopes of it becoming her greatest piece of work yet.

Even though it's meant to be a plot machine, I feel like it needs more limitations. For starters, half a minute is obviously not a long enough delay, cause not only does it force others to flee from an island in a single post or die, but it also forces the user and all of his allies, which means it's a pretty unreasonable disadvantage as well. Secondly, what's the size of this thing? Is it fired or planted by someone? Moreover, the ability to bring any island to shambles in half a minute seems a little absurd. While it may sound like a festive addition to any thread on a random island, it can very well destroy the entire marine HQ if you plant it somewhere important enough...

Very good points, though to be honest its a weapon that will probably be only used once, as im planning for it to detonate on Punk Hazard, causing it to turn into the wasteland it is in the series, but nonetheless your very much right and I need to edit this thing.
