Iggy no one can do simple math right, the second law of thermodynamics dictates that nothing can operate at 100% efficiency, which means that 2+2 can not possibly equal 4 because some small amount had to be lost in the process of addition 2+2 = slightly less than 4

duh....

Except 2+2 is not a chemical or thermal reaction.

the combination of two quantitys or number/objects causing no reaction? but I thought that for ever action their was an equal and opposite reaction....

well anyway it was meant to be funny not legitimate (its a good trick to use on seven year olds....)

But then you give them the wrong definition of thermodynamics. That can screw up their scientific pursuits for years! Oh. That's why it's funny.

You'd be an awesome cartoonist. I wish I had a scanner, I'd whip up some comics I make and scan em and put it in.

It's a song. I think the idea is that so many people think they've got it right, but they don't. So, the point is get it right for them.

In my view, I think you are pretty close. It's about a bunch of different people trying to make a difference, and the guy is telling him why they can't. And then he is saying what he will do so that he can make the big difference, and conquer the world. Oh, and that was the point, using a song to win an argument.
