Weapon name: Sword of Kings
Description: The overall length of the sword is 44.5 inches, with the blade taking 35.5 in. of the amount up. It's inner part of the blade is a bright sliver color, almost to the point of being white. The outer edge is a light green color. It's a traditional European style long sword, however one fit for a "king".
The scabbard is also a silvery color with light green tips. It's type is sharpened to a fine point allowing the user to hook his/her opponents in close combat. The silver metal and green tips are both made from the same substances as the main parts of the blade. Wrapping downward, the scabbard is bade from three clawed dragon like fingers. They arc about three inches outward before coming in, this allows the blade to block nearly all attack directed at the wielders weapon hand.
The sword's handle is made from gold and black gold. Both gold metals spiral upwards until they peak at the silver point of the sword. At the peak of the hilt, a sharp silver colored metal point sits. It's triangle in overall shape, however it has small sharp ridges to make it more like a dragon's tooth. In the center of the tooth a polished seastone sits ever giving off a greenish glow. A rubber like banding wrapped around the swords hilt gives it an improved grip when compared with more traditional wraps. At the very base of the handle a dragon's head is visible on both sides with it's mouth open and baring it's teeth. The dragon has a green, seastone eye.
On the sliver part of the blade there is a decorative engraving reading, "キング"; meaning "king". Wrapping around the engraved word are two serpentine dragons breathing fire that spreads the length of the area where the green and silver converge. The silver is a durable, yet light mixture of titanium and tungsten metals. It's outer edge is formed from seastone, giving it, its name. The seastone seems to be fused into the silvery metal by a process similar to welding, most likely during the early stages of it's creation. Despite being technically stone, or rather a crystalline substance; the outer edge of the blade is sharp and polished smooth.
The weapon's sheath is merely a thick leather case. This prevents the seastone effecting anyone with a devil fruit, that its not supposed to. Gold lines run down the seams of the case adding extra durability as well as a classy look. At the base of the case a thick layer of gold rise about two inches up on all sides, it ensures the blade wont go through the bottom of the leather.
Weapon special abilities: Due to it's make, the sword is extremely durable and resistance to many forces. It can with stand high heat, cold, and electrical currents without passing the energy or there for lack of, on to the user. The mineral compositions used in the makeup of the sword also make it non-magnetic. It's seastone edge also gives it the ability to takeaway the powers of any and all devil fruit user it comes into contact with.
History:
Many moons ago, war raged across the final islands that were scattered towards the end of the (Hell Grandline) world. It was a dark era were entire countries were wiped out by another. Island after island fell to the encroaching darkness, that seemingly came from the abyss thought to be at the end of the world. Soon it seemed like nowhere was safe, the dark force began to move towards Paradise. From there it would be able to enter the four ocean, from there it would take the world.
Soon bands of people began coming together, people that had previously warred with each other found comfort in their presence. The darkness had opened a floodgate, a floodgate of light and hope. People fought the darkness to a standstill. Both sides took heavy damage, both sides used incredible weaponry. Legendary warriors came, fought, and died all to protect the ones they left behind. The men of darkness had the strength of many men for they possessed powers. They possessed the powers of demons, they had giver their souls for power. However the warriors of the light began to develop weapons to combat their devil like powers.
The weapons gave the islanders a chance, just as the devil's powers. Battles raged on, as did the war. Neither side backing down, neither side willing to lose. One side was protecting and avenging those who had fallen, the other was expanding their reach for selfish reasons. They were even, at this rate no one would win, and everyone would die. At least that's what it seemed like, as the war dragged along.
That was, at least until, the great king of was killed. The boy prince took his place. How they laughed at him, they taunted him. However the boy king took the crown of his father and ruled having a sword forged for him. As the years passed by, the boy king turned into a man. The man lead the armies his father left behind and pushed the new generation into the war against the darkness. The devil's forces were for the first time pushed back as the kind regained more and more ground.
Just as the king had stepped up from the side of good, a mighty warrior began to aid the side of the "devil's". A monster of a man, he was nearly the size of a giant came to push back the king's front lines. In only a few months the warrior retook everything that had been taken, plus much of the king's own territory. It looked like all hope was lost as the dark armies pushed closer and closer to the Redline. Just as all hope looked to have been snuffed out, the sword was finished.
With all his blood, sweat, and tears, the blacksmith placed all his hope in the sword. He forged a masterpiece, a work of art, the sword of kings. Using the technology developed earlier during the war, the smith made it to purify the power of the devil's. With the mighty weapon, the king lead his armies into battle once again. Pushing the darkness back nearly to the abyss itself, the king won many glorious battles. He won so many that the darkness recalled the forced they had sent ahead to Paradise.
Surrounded on all sides, the king and his army fought tooth and nailed with the devil's. On land and on the water the sides fought. It seemed the men who fought on the see had an advantage over the devil's. When the devil's fell in the water, they could not come back up. The king's forced pressed the devil's against the wall that separated the rest of the world from the dark abyss on the other-side. No one from the warriors had been that close to the wall before, they had only seen it from afar.
One final battle erupted. The warrior of the devil's and the boy king fought each other. His sword versus his magic. The warrior seemed to be able to make the earth, sea, and even the sky to shake. They battled for many days straight, day and night, it didn't matter. The warriors on both sides watched in awe as their respective comrade dealt and did damage to the other. A rift was opened up under the water, that the water flowed into causing it boil and turn into a thick white steam and a mountain formed like a staircase leading to the top of the wall of stone. The thick orange water consumed many of forces on both sides. Fighting their way up the mountain the two warriors ended it on top of the wall. The king looked over the side to see what the abyss looked like. However it was just more water, there was another ocean. In the end, the battle ended with the king wearing himself down. The demon seemed to created a destroy without effort, whereas the king had a limit.
Deciding it would only be too grand, if the king was slayed by his own weapon, the demon king went to pick up the sword. However, when he did, something happened. He lost all of his strength. He felt great pain from the blade of the king. The king of the humans could only smile a smug grin, it would be seen in his decedents for 1000's of years to come. Speaking to his enemy for the first time, the king said; "This is the curse of your fruit, the ocean and my sword reject you, Dark King." Pulling out a dagger the king charged the devil stabbing him in the abdomen. Dropping the sword, the red haired demon and the grinning king fell to what seemed to be their deaths on the other side of the great wall. On the other side of the ocean, the currents swept them towards the East. Ever since then the sword has passed from hand to hand, only those of pure blood descended from the king have been able to properly wield the blade.
