(Flashback before the Anubis war had begun) Karasu looks for recruitment: Triblade ((Closed))

Karasu moved in with his ship, the glooming shadow. Its destination was for an island rumored to be harboring a man Karasu was interested in taking for his crew, Daiki and Yaminoque already had their separate assignments, Karasu himself had to go to this one. The island seemed very average when it came to it being in the grandline. The village Karasu could see consisted of average looking poor villagers, the atmosphere seemed very sunny and the folks looked happy with their living. When Karasu whoed up with his flag they almost completely changed their attitudes, walking away from him and leaving the harbor with fear in their eyes. Karasu was not known, but a simple pirate flag was enough to cause people to shake in fear.

Karasu moved past the people and ended up going inside a building and heading towards the top. Once he landed there he looked around with the bounty poster of 30,000,000 in his hand. Now he was simply looking around the area till he found the person necessary for him to hunt down.

Jacob had been stranded on a small island for some time now. Ever since he had left his former crew, he had been getting by, by doing odd jobs. Most of the time he helped a local farmer in exchange for food and board. Picking up an axe he began chopping wood out side the barn. Currently, it seemed like other than the axe, Jacob was unarmed.

Karasu couldn't see anyone around that made him think would know the location of tri blade. When thinking of a pirate Karasu expected the crowd for him to be around to be a little ominous looking. He started moving out of the village after 30 minutes of his continuous effort to find a character that simply wasn't in the village.

Karasu decided to leave the top of the building and explore a little around the village, but saw nothing even remotely similar to the man he was looking for. When Karasu was about to give-up he decided to ask someone random rather then someone that fit his profile. Taking a random women in the villages attention Karasu asked her the question.

"Excuse me, do you know of anyone fitting this description?" Karasu showed the women the bounty poster but covered the numbers in the bottom as to not alarm her. She nodded and spoke about him with a smile.

"He helps the villagers around here, he works for pretty much anything if you have enough money.. he's a real sweet guy." her cheeks turned red, which made Karasu feel rather uncomfortable in the situation. She pointed towards the place that bought him for the day,which was on the far side of town.

Karasu walked the distance with his vulture on his shoulder, presently he was making sure each of his pistols had explosive rounds with one pistol of the pairs, and smoke bullets with the other pistol. Once he found the farm he found the man he was looking for chopping wood.

"You there, Tri-blade.. I am here to capture you. How do you want to do this?" Karasu had both of his pistols on his belt, but he was showing it by pulling away his coat. he wasn't the violent type but he had no idea what type of Pirate the man was.

Jacob merely glanced at the man with the guns on his belts. With chop after chop the swordsman continued his work. Even with the threat in front of him, he continued with hesitation or pause. After he finished the remaining wood, he placed the axe on his shoulder. Turning to face Karasu he leaned back against the barn. "So you're a bounty hunter of some kind?" Jacob said eyeing the brown paper that could only be a bounty poster in the man's hand. "Well I'm not going with you, the marines aren't going to capture another one of us, not alive anyway." Jacob said holding his axe so it was pointing at Karasu.

"I'm no bounty hunter, But I will be inviting you to the WG.. you don't really have a choice in the matter, as I value your skills as important." Karasu didn't treat the axe pointed at him as a threat, the man was basically unarmed at the moment. Karasu remained calm as well, as if he was talking to someone in a normal conversation. His clothes were all black, along with his coat, pants, shoes and even his vulture. He was ready to fight Tri-blade if he gave any trouble. It almost seemed like Tri-Blade would be the type to fight for the answer Karasu needed. His vulture seemed to be carefully studying Tri-Blade.

His eyes remained on Tri-Blades.

With a flick of his wrist, Jacob threw the axe at Karasu. This wasn't an attempt at an attack, it was merely a distraction. Diving into the open barn doors, Jacob grabbed his blades out of their hiding spot. He then placed himself behind a pile of junk, waiting for the man to follow him. At the moment Karasu entered the barn, Jacob would leap out and attack; officially starting the battle.

Karasu sidestepped from the axe being thrown at him, the axe was literally inches away from his face when it passed him landing on the floor behind him. Karasu saw the man running inside the barn.. which was not something Karasu would try to move into, for a gunner fighting in a compact area was not something that would be beneficial. Just to make sure Karasu closed his eyes and focused on the area around him in Total Silence state.

In a second he could hear Tri-Blades heartbeat inside, holding still. He could hear the wind beating against the objects around the area, giving him a general idea of the things inside the barn. Karasu readied both of his pistols and shot two powerful bullets breaking through the wooden surface and moving left and right to collide at where the man was. If they had connected in the middle their powers would be weakened, since they went through a wooden wall before connecting to the man, but they would atleast penetrate the skin and cause some injury.

"Crab bullet.."

Jacob heard the wood shatter, a plank on each side of him. He leaped up and into the loft of the barn. Looking down at the man from the window on the second floor he could see Karasu had his eyes shut. At that moment, Jacob realized he wasn't fighting an ordinary gunslinger. Leaping from the window, Jacob decided to take a more direct path in fighting Karasu. As the dust from his landing settled, Jacob launched two powerful airblades at Karasu, simultaneously.

Karasu could hear the winds being sliced from their original position, the blades seemed sharp enough to cut through, if not severely injure Karasu. The man jumped out a window, which gave Karasu the chance he needed to attack the man while he was in the air. In an instant Karasu shot 5-8 bullets curving upwards, their curving being powerful enough to cause winds around it giving it the appearance of a twister. The attack was specifically made for opponents on top of Karasu. The twister clashed with the two slicing techniques and dispersed.

Karasu took advantage of the opponent being in the air and shot two powerful bullets aimed directly at the opponent. Their power would normally be enough to break through wood, however Karasu had no idea how strong the opponents body was. Karasu then used his vulture and started flying backwards and up at the same time, his pistols being aimed directly at him and shooting at his body.

Jacob spun his largest blade around quickly blocking all of the bullets that were aimed at him. The swordsman took the attack and it didn't faze him, it was as if the bullets just lost all of their momentum when they hit the large sword. Landing, Jacob steadied his stance. Pulling out his two remaining swords, Jacob began spinning them rapidly in front of him. Soon a whirlwind made from sharp airblades shot forth towards Karasu. The attack was powerful enough to take out more of Karasu's attacks as well as still deliver damage.

Karasu tried to understand the mans swords, since somehow his bullets had bounced off of the sword and landed on the ground, but the impact of it had somehow lessened to an almost zero like state. While Karasu was moving, apparently Tri-Blade was putting the spinning blade in front of him. Karasu maintained his normal stare as he heard the man make a technique like whirlwinds coming towards him. With both of his pistols ahead of him Karasu shot a Tornado shot capable of busting through even the hardest of metals. It easily broke through the technique the man had made.

The shot was concentrated directly at the man in front of him. Karasu was also testing that ability he had just seen, the technique for defense that made Karasus bullets stop once they touched he sword. As a precaution Karasu also shot two bullets going left and right, aiming to clash simultaneously at the opponent in the middle.

"Hmm.. you seem stronger then I thought you'd be, but I am not going to let you get away from me.. Tri-Blade."

Jacob merely blocked the tornado shot with his large sword, the mighty attack just seemed to disappear when it hit. There seemed to be no energy transferred behind the sword. With his free hand the swordsman used his smaller sword to cut the two bullets coming at him from either side in the blink of an eye. The two pieces of the two bullets whizzed by in front and behind of the swordsman.

"Namikaze Flash"

Jacob didn't want to harm the island little lone the farm land the two battled on, so he decided to try and end the battle quickly. With his soru level speed, Jacob shot towards a tree. Kicking off the tree, Jacob used his soru like technique once more; his speed was further increased. The tree toppled over, cracking off at the base from the sheer force from Jacob's technique. With his current trajectory, Jacob would collided with the back right side of Karasu. Getting low to the ground, Jacob preformed an upward slash to the right. This angle would avoid damaging any of the island other than the nearby mountain. Releasing all of the energy stored in his impact dial, Jacob formed a shockwave cannon attack. The shockwave attack was nearly at the level of Karasu's tornado shot, the extra energy added on to would make it much more powerful. All of the bullets he had block up till now plus the energy from the tornado shot was added onto the attack from close range. If the attack hit Karasu directly, it would send him smashing into the mountain destroying his body completely. The size of the attack would be hard to dodge, however not impossible.

Karasu was in the air at the time, so watching his opponent move about in such speed almost surprised Karasu. In an instant he appeared behind Karasu in the air, Karasus vulture Immediately moved straight upwards dragging Karasu with him. The Shockwave was made from an impact dial which required very close contact to be affected if not being directly pressed against it. Karasu made sure to avoid contact from the strange sword the man had. It had something that Karasu had no idea was possible, and the effects of it was not something Karasu or the vulture wanted to risk on their bodies.

The Shockwave emitted by the dial was wasted on the wind, and Karasu abused that the opponent was now in the air. Karasu put both of his pistols at his opponent now around 20-30 feet in the air, he made sure to aim at places that would not kill him if they landed a blow. Karasu was on the top, and now he had to abuse that fact. He shot two Bullet Cannons at the opponent legs right after using the impact dial (which should've at least flinched him), then he shot two explosive rounds at the opponents main body. If the bullet cannons were to hit the mans legs it would basically handicap the opponent temporarily, the explosive rounds would be focused on the mans normal areas, like the middle of the chest and the right arm to disable most movements if not injure him.

Karasu then flew 20 more feet in the air, and watched the attacks outcomes. If the opponent did block most of the bullets Karasu would simply continue shooting and curving his bullets to attack from all sides as he was landing to the ground, with Karasus ability to curve bullets these normal shots would basically curve from under him, the sides, and even from above. Karasu was not going to give this man a chance to breathe while he was in the air.

Jacob sliced one of the cannon bullets in half with his sword, the second hit him in the left leg causing him to spin downwards towards the left. While spinning it was difficult, however Jacob was able to block the remaining two bullets. The strange thing was, he had removed his dial from the sword. This caused the swordsman to shoot towards the ground quickly. Landing with a thud, Jacob laid in the crater for a moment. His left leg was damaged and he took a pretty big hit; however on the bright side he was back on the ground. It was obvious the attacker had the advantage in the air.

Jacob knew he only had one way to win. That route was one that he likely wouldn't walk away from. Jacob pulled out something he swore he would never use again. However it wouldn't matter, Jacob would rather die than go to a marine controlled prison. Jacob stood up, in one hand he had his sword with a impact dial, in the other a device of immense power. The swordsman awaited the gunslingers next attack.

Karasu watched his techniques land on the sword this time, it had actually become like a normal sword the instant a devise was taken out from the sword itself. Karasu took out both his pistols and started flying around the enemy keeping his distance. Karasu was observing him, he seemed to be injured by his attack.. which meant he was now much less capable of moving about, Karasu had to fight according to his strength and the opponents apparent weakness. Realizing the thing he took away from the sword was what made him stop all of Karasus bullet attacks made some sense to Karasu, he still had never seen something like that, but knowing it wasn't the sword made him feel more at ease.

He had to finish this off quickly without getting injured before heading to the new world to look for Iken, while at the same time not hurting the man too severely. There wasn't much he could do, but he had to use his combination technique.

In an instant Karasus bullets that would be summoned were now blizzard bullets, the opponent would not know this since he appeared to have no super senses. In an instant Karasu shot 40 bullets at the opponent, or so it seemed. None of Karasus bullets were directly aimed at the man, instead they were aimed at each other. 36/40 bullets made contact with each other, the bullets clashed around two feet away from Tri-blade, the collisions would cause the hidden freezing chemicals inside the bullets to almost explode out, freezing the things inside 1m. 18 collisions were made around Tri-Blade, each of them taking a meter of space, including Tri-Blades, that would be effected by the icy wind made by these bullets.

The collisions were made around Tri-Blade trying to at least weaken him by taking away his back, arms, legs, or even chest. The technique was made to immobilize him, if the freezing temperatures were too much for his body Karasu would have to melt the ice away with his magma bullet. His surroundings were completely overtaken by the bullets clashing against each other, even the top had collisions in case he tried to jump away from the bullets moving at such speed.

4 of the bullets went into random directions after missing their mark, they were sent towards the ground and froze 1m of the ground each, even the grass seemed to have frozen completely in that small area.
