Alex is one the left. He is 5'9 and weighs 175 pounds. He has a semi muscular build and a pale skin complexion. His hair is dark, and of medium length. His hair is very spiky as well and he has green eyes. He likes to wear very casual clothing like jean, converse and tee shirts and things of that nature.
History: Alex and Aiden were born on December 18th on an island that had a marine outpost on it. The outpost had a very high recruiting rate because there were no other jobs to take on the island. Alex and his twin; Aiden's parents were both marines, and expected them to follow in their footsteps. Alex and Aiden grew up talking to the same kids, playing the same games, in the same class, and all of that. This was when their personalities separated. Alex was shown to be more laid back, no getting the best grades, not doing work and that stuff. Aiden on the other hand was no nonsense, getting straight A's, and not many friends. This caused the two brothers to quarrel often, although every argument eventually became pathetic looking wrestling. This was normal brother fighting and wasn't really fazing to his parents, also because they saw that they were inseparable. So this pretty much became routine for the boys for a few years; go to school, learn, come home, fight, ect. Then, at age ten, they're father (a rear admiral) pulled some strings in the marine program to have his children trained. This was only possible because their father kept them in tip top shape. So, against there wishes, they were put into a training program. They were first asked what they would like to be trained in. Of course, since their personalities were so different, their choices in combat were as well. Alex chose to learn close combat; swordplay, in specific. Aiden on the other hand, wanted to be adept in long ranged weaponry, a sharp shooter. This meant that the twins father had to get two great marines out of the field instead of one, but in the process it would make two more as great. Alex and Aiden trained for five years, learning more and more techniques. By the age of fifteen, both boys were experts in their field and put into the marine program as petty officers.
For the next 9 years of their lives, the boys were in the marines. They were both assigned to the same ship; the SS. Sea Scraper under Vice Admiral Jake Nelson, who was a swordsman like Alex and immediately took a liking to him. The first mate was an inventor, and at request made Aiden a case of specialized bullets. The ship was a new flagship for the navy, so their job was very important. At this time, their was a major war going on between the marines and the main younkou crew of that time; The Eruption Pirates, named for their captains devils fruit that could control magma. The Crew of Nelson and the Eruption Pirates quickly became rivals, and fought decently often. At one point, the crew was defending a naval outpost near Skypia from being overrun by a ship from the Eruptions. Afterwards, while celebrating one an island offshore, while Aiden and Alex were walking, a sword shop caught Alex's eyes. He ended up buying two of his most important weapons there. The fighting went on for about 2 more years until, in a final battle and final strike, Jake Nelson killed the youkou, but in turn ended up dying himself. As the crew dragged him to the ship, he looked at Alex and asked him if he could use his sword for him instead of wasting it and burying it at sea, so Avery received another sword to his collection, with much sorrow however. After this, the brothers joined another crew, which didn't see much action. However, the captain was ex cipher pol and since the twins were the only two on the crew who really stood out to him, he taught them each some rokushiki. The boys then spent a long period of there marine carrers learning these techniques, about 6 years. After this, each boy had learned 3 techniques, but then there crews switched to another crew. This angered them, alot. And also the fact that they never wanted to be marines anyway did. So, and twenty four and as lieutenants, the two deserted. They then decided that the only way that would make sense for them with their powers was to piracy. So, for the next few years, they built up a reputation in the pirate community by killing, plundering and other things. They are now looking for a crew.
Personality: The first thing you will notice about Alex is his difference in personality from his brother. Alex is much more laid back then Aiden. For example, Avery will tell jokes, is very social even when he shouldn't be, that sort of thing, which his brother dislikes. This causes fights to occur often, which are usually extremely childish. Although they usually fight a lot, they really like each other. Even though they won't admit this, they have pretty much spent every second of his life with him. Another thing that separates Alex from Aiden is his confidence. Alex is very confident, especially when it comes to fighting. Some (Aiden) might say overly so. Like for instance, when fighting someone, Avery has no doubt in his mind that he will win. One thing the brothers share however, is an alpha male leadership ability. Since both have this personality, it may explain all the fighting they do as just trying to become better than the other brother. Alex and Aiden also share a common dislike in the marines. See, they don't exactly hate the organization, but how they follow the world governments orders blindly, which is the one organization that they do, truly hate. Avery enjoys sleeping and eating, which he calls "the two greatest pleasures in life" to screw with his brother. He also enjoys using his swords, which seems a bit strange. All and all, however, Alex's main trait is his difference from his brother.

Personality: The one thing you will notice about Aiden and his brother Alex right when you start talking to them is their differences. Aiden has a much more no nonsense attitude to life then his laid back counterpart. For example, Aiden is very grave all the time and won't laugh at any joke. He is also a bit anti social because of this, and some of the social situations he gets put in as a result are quite funny. These differences usually result in arguments, then to physical confrontation. These fights are often very childish. However, despite this, Alex and Aiden have never been separated in their lives and like each other very much. Aiden also differs from his brother in the sense that he has no real confidence in battle. He shoots and hits most of the time, but he still doesn't like to get confident in fear that he will just fail. One thing the brothers share however, is an alpha male leadership ability. Since both have this personality, it may explain all the fighting they do as just trying to become better than the other brother. Alex and Aiden also share a common dislike in the marines. See, they don't exactly hate the organization, but how they follow the world governments orders blindly, which is the one organization that they do, truly hate.
