| I will be gone for a while and I am not sure for how long. With luck, I can find some way to shorten my leave. Expect 3 weeks minimum. | |

| Welcome back, I hope you enjoyed your trip back to reality. Anyway, you did not miss much, but we are starting a davyback tournament, you may have noticed. Things are alittle Nazi-ish on the Zelda site, just a head up. | |

| Fun? Yes. Exciting? No. Boring? At times. Yummy? Damn straight.
The best part was by far visiting the family ranch and jumping in a truck to chase down ostriches.

| The milanesas, lomo, chocolates from Bariloche, ice cream from Bariloche, potato gnocchi, salmon ravioli, fresh bread daily, honey glazed croissants, and of course, alfajors.
Breakfast was always fresh bread with a choice of topping including honey, dulce de leche, ham, cheese, and assorted jams served with tea.
Lunch could be just about anything.
Then at six you had tea time with a tea known as mate served with sweet crackers, cookies, or cake.
At ten you would finally have dinner which the centerpiece was usually a steak dish with either potatoes or squash.

| WOW!
That's crazy fancy. The only time I've had any of that was at a very fancy restaurant.

| Oh no. It was for the most part a cattle ranch, but they also grow cash crops such as sunflowers and soy. The ostriches are from when the ranch first started. They were imported from Africa as hunting game but law later dictated that you could not shoot them. Now they became an entirely different species (3 toes instead of 2) and are kept for their eggs. And I have to say, they are crazy fast. | |
