His face is thin yet not on the point of gaunt, though it still has a strength to its structure. A charming grin is set on his face most times and he has an air of confidence and class about him, yet he still has that element that is used to turn those both into a slick personality.
Swagger.
This is a visible trait.
History:Han D. Frulipp, the cook who saved the island of Tuloopia from a deadly hunger. A feat worthy of him being made an honorary member of their blood clan. There he married the tribesmen's queen, a young woman who wanted to see the world. She was beauty and elegance. The pair eloped, joining the mighty crew of Darkbeard. The pirate life was not them though, they took their spoils and settled in the Grand Line. They lived in a stately house on a bustling island surrounded by others of the same socio-economic standing. Gambling habits and alcohol soon dropped their standing and they became one of the poorer families, yet Armand (or Locke as he now liked to be known)never lost his finesse, his class and his swagger. He was dubbed 'The Gentleman' of Horsebrook Village by the age of nine. Even then the young boy was 'playing the field' for girls that were sometimes even double his age.
His father was put into debt and so the boy newly into the ways of teenagerhood, decided to take it upon himself to earn money. He started using his charm to con people out of money and food, but it wasn't enough. Locke's mother was taken, kept in ransom until his father payed back the amount due. The family did not even have a quarter of that amount but his father gave all he had, even go so far as too sacrificing his own life in a last ditch effort of a rescue mission. The 17 year old Locke on the other hand, ran. Preferring escape to death. It was something he regretted all his life, even as he took off his life as a con artist...Surviving off the ignorance of others and slowly perfecting his technique.
Personality:An easy going character. Very slick and smooth. Has a certain thing, a certain swagger, that engages those around him. He is extremely charismatic and loves to talk...But if you get on his bad side you will find yourself travelling a dangerous path wrought with sarcasm and scathing attacks. He does not like reference to his family and is strangely affectionate towards the poorer folk, though he does not show true affection, love or hate very often due to it being a weakness that can be manipulated by others. Has a commitment problem.
Added is the deep lack of trust for anyone, ironically.
