you would have to look in to it Law of Ueki is 100% tactical fighting DBZ is 100% brute strength/speed/energy fighting

ITS FANTASTIC! i can even give you the site i used to download all the episodes from, subtitles, not dubbed... i hate english dubbing, they always screw up the story somehow...

See, DBZ gthe attacks often don't make sense and are never explained. FMA is different, because all the attacks are science, so they can be explained. Except the homonculi, who aren't even human and stuff. they are the only confusing thing.
The .hack anime have little action, and lots of dialogue. The games are different.

Of course it doesnt make sense. Does every anime make sense? Alot of them has people do superhuman things, that average everyday are not capable of. But it looks cool and is entertaining to see.

that's no excuse. Try Fullmetal Alchemist, you'd still like it probably.
Then again, the only guy with insane muscles is Armstrong. But, still, even his attacks are explainable.
Oh, wait, there's no high-speed you-can't-see-them fights.
There's no energy attacks that come from your very life essence.
There's no superhuman state of cheapness.
There's no changing the hair every three minutes.
There's no screaming to gain power somehow.
If it doesn't have that stuff, maybe gohan won't like it.

This one is pretty little kid-ish, (well the english dub is like most anime) but a really cool one is viewtiful joe. It might be because i like the game that i like the series but it was pretty awesome. Plus it has awesome fights but nothing ridiculously crazy like not being able to see them or the 3 or so super forms that all seem to be an ace in the hole. Plus it has a good amount of action without boring things like explaining every attack by taking time from the fight to give a two minute lecture.

Yes, that's really good too. Just explaination can't stand up to tactics. Neither can brute strength, gohan. People from Law of Ueki could probably take down a DBZ character if they strategixed carefully.

Joe could take down a Goku probably, He would use mach speed to super speed himself and use focus to create dazzling combos, or he would use mach speed to get close and use slow to create a super strong punch, plus Joe is pretty street smart and not just a brute force hero.

Ueki proves that with tactics the power to turn trash in to trees can beat the power to turn ideas in to reality!

Well Joe uses tactics to beat enemies when he doesn't transform, or against an enemy like Fire Leo (Faya Leo in japan) or the robot Bruce Davidson the Third. He also has powers that effect his opponent so that also makes Joe an awesome super-hero. Viewtiful Joe is well Viewtiful.



Plus if all you care about is explanations and tactics there is death note. Not that I am saying those are unimportant but there needs to be a high action content as well. That's why I like viewtiful joe, (not saying that Fma and Law of Ueki don't have action)

Sorry to bump the thread, but true. Dragonball had a plot, find the Dragonballs. In DBZ they always have them.
