Serious: The Burning of the Marmalade Kingdom (Giovanni Pirates)

The giant simplt stepped back allowing the axe to miss. Bruno laughed "You little ant. I have fought dancuff tougher than you." He took his fist stepping over the axe to punch kurage into the ground. The royal guards twenty in total began to surround kurage to trap ihim.

Seeing the giant step backwards the axe slammed into the ground and he jumped backwards bringing the axe with him as the giant threw a punch down at him. The fist landed in front of him and as he landed to see Marines all around him Kurage once again used his glow technique to blind these guards then swung the axe around in a circle to try and slice these guards up into pieces.

Once he tried that Kurage then looked back up at the giant and wrapped his tentacles around the giant's leg. He completely unformed his body and was now a jelly fish head and a mass of long strong tentacles. He kept hold of both the axe & the princess as he used his tentacles to climb up the giant from his calf. Kurage began to climb up his back.

Listening to the Bluebeard fellow, he grumbled, but complied. He didn't need to make complaints or oppose orders. Stepping back in, he stared at the little creature. Its tail wagged a little as it's happy face looked at him. This worthless creature had a life, just like him. And he had been tasked with protecting this worthless creature, just like he had protected himself.

"Looks like, in this big circle of life, we're all kinda worthless. huh, little one?"

Having unfurled the sails and seeing that Bluebeard was on guard Midas began hefting up the anchor of the ship taking it 6 links of the chain by 6 hand over hook hoisting it up as fast as he could straining a little with the weight of the thing before finally hefting the iron weight on deck and turning around to Roberto Kekekekekkkekekeke "Looks like ya got der attention real well Don Giovanni. Do we have il principessa (the princess) and should we wait for Il mollusco (The Jellyfish) or not?" Midas took up his position once again at the side of the ship ready to provide cover fire if the need arose.

Roberto was confused on what Midas had meant "What?! what you mean?! Kurage is not here with us. God damn it I still can't see. Damn that fishman. We can't leave without the princess, but we can't stay here either. Hmmmm ah hell there is no point in all of us getting killed. If that guy survives he can swim toward us. He better hope for his sake that nothing happens to the princess or I may kill him myself."

The 50,000 guards behind the giant were unaffected by the bright light, due to his huge body blocking most of it. The archers took aim and fired hundreds their arrows toward the fishmen. The polearm users threw their spears toward him. The axemen threw their axes toward him. All the ranged fighters threw their weapons at him in an effort to hit him. Bruno reached behind to grab kurage, but ended gripping his axe. He tried to pull the weapon from him.....

Bluebeard kept looking out for Kurage and the princess, as it was afterall part of his job. He then decided to confirm something the Don. "Are departing without Mr. Kurage then sir?", while maintaining his cluster of spores in his free hand. "If we are truly in need for the him and the princess to be aboard I do not mind going after as long as there is some room for me to climb back aboard, afterall I cannot swim."

Meanwhile; below deck, Widdles leapt about excitedly in front of the young captive, squealing; "Play Game!" repeatedly, hoping that the pirate would at least do something intresting, before giving him puppy dog eyes.

Watching the little creature jump aimlessly, he smiled as it begged him to play. so he tied a small assorted line of twine her found to a stick and pebble and began watching the little creature jump up and down after the small rock flying in the air.

Kurage saw the weapons flying towards him and since his tentacles were sprawled off in all directions all over this giant's back he highly doubted he would get too badly impaled and since he had the princess still frozen hanging from him he figured they would have to be careful about throwing things. Kurage quickly climbed higher till he felt a hand pulling on the ax which he was surprised about he knew he couldn't beat a giant in a competition over strength and didn't bother trying but as the hand gripped the ax he made sure that the giant would grip the blade as to cut into his hand.

As the giant tried pulling it free Kurage allowed the rest of his tentacles to slither upwards towards the head of this giant named Bruno. Climbing upwards he felt the princess weighing him down but added another tentacle to her to lighten the load. As his head reached the tip of the giant's spinal cord Kurage let go of the ax either letting the giant take it in his hand or letting it drop to the guards below he didn't mind which and he allowed his tentacles to wrap around the giant's face gripping his face tightly.

Gripping Bruno's face as tightly as he could with his tentacles he tried snapping hi neck by pushing and pulling with equal number of tentacles on either side. Using all of his extraordinary fishman strength he pushed himself as hard as he could trying to snap this giant's neck. But even if this giant's head didn't snap upon turning he planned to try and twist his head right the way round that would surely kill him. Keeping one eye trained looking backwards down at the guards Kurage saw the princess was slowly but surely being lifted closer and closer up to the rest of his tentacles.

Bruno felt werid having this fishman all over his face and neck. With his hand free, Bruno grabbed the axe. Then he swung it toward the Kurage in an attempt to kill the pirate before he snapped his neck "You are strong, but far too weak to kill me. I survived the horrors of the grand line. You fishmen are nothing compared to my strength." Bruno used his left hand to grip the Kurage in order to keep still while his axe could cut the tentacles releasing his grip.

Roberto shook his head "No we all depart. Get the ship back into the ocean. No point in all of us getting caught for the sake of one disobendient subordinate. Kurage had his orders and he choose to neglect them. He must pay for disobeying my orders. I'm blind and so far none of us can face an entire along with a giant. Better if one man dies than the whole family." Roberto didn't like this any more than the others, but facts were facts. Roberto had to keep as many men alive as possible, and running off for an rescue mission could kill them all.

Hearing this giant tell him he was strong but too weak Kurage wanted to prove this man wrong. He didn't believe he would be beaten so easily and shrugged it off. He replied back to his remark about surviving the Grand Line.
"Your not the only one. I was born on fishman island and have set foot in Shabondy, now try telling me you've stood up against the forces in Shabondy and lived."

As the giant's hand slammed down over Kurage's head he was stuck and held perfectly in place he feared the worst as he now had the axe in hand. Allowing his tentacles to move around and release his head Kurage began moving his head from under the giant's palm as quickly as he could squeezing it out from underneath. As the axe sped down towards him he was able to see it easily speeding closer as he sat on the giant's shoulder slowly pulling his tentacles all back into place reforming himself and pulling the princess back into his calf muscle.

The giant accidentally cut off his hand with the blade with Kurage dodging his attack. His hand fell down upon the ground severed. Bruno dropped his axe with his other free hand which fell unto the ground cutting the toes of his left foot. Bruno fell forwards being unbalanced along with kurage and princess. The great giant was finally defeated. The guards looked amazed how their great champion was defeated. They all shook and looked frightened.

Bluebeard merely nodded and replyed with gruff; "Yes sir, understood.", deciding to help with departing by taking the helm and began steering the ship out to sea. In all honesty, Bluebeard had little care on whether Kurage and the princess made it out alive, though would prefer the princess to survive the ordeal and be captured for a large chance of profit and a larger chance of funding a way to remove his devil fruit abillities, or at least find a permanent solution to his three year effect. Besides, if Kurage did die, more chance of payment for him.

Widdles giggled happily at young pirate as atempt after atempt he tried to punce on the make shift toy to little avail, apart from when the manticore grabbed on it with it's paws before slosing it's grip and landing on it's back. "Fun Stick!", Widdles said happily.

He couldn't tell if this creature was more animal or simple child. The being seemed to not even be fazed by the destruction happening outside. He continued to play with the little creature, swinging the sting side to side and back and forth as well, he wondered how long it would be until he would be called over to ask for help.

Midas stood firm at the edge of the ship watching his comrade fight the giant. He gave a grin as he saw the giant fall and turned back to Bluebeard and Giovanni KEKEKEKEKEKEKE "Hold up boys Il mollusco (The Jellyfish) just brought down the giant keep da ship here we need ta get da cargo aboard we need ta cover dat jellyman" he gave a grin focusing a line of coins on either side of the jellyfish waiting for Kurage to get clear

As Bruno fell Kurage allowed himself to fall on the giant's shoulder as the ground rushed up to meet him he leaped up into the air and landed to the side of Bruno and moved the princess up through his tentacles till she was now in his shoulder and looked around at the shock covering the royal guard's faces. Allowing 4 tentacles to wrap around the weapons they had thrown which remained on the floor Kurage threw 4 spears at the first 4 guards who dared step forward.

Whilst dealing with them Kurage reached out to grab Bruno's giant axe and as he lifted it with the aid of 2 more he swung it in a sweeping fashion as quickly as he could manage at thigh height hoping to slice clean through the guard's thigh and severely cripple them. He wasn't afraid of these men and wanted to prove he would be the fishman people feared. The fishman wanted people woke up in a cold sweat dreaming about, the name little kids said so many times it scared them.

Swinging the axe his grip tightened as did the speed he was swinging it at making it much harder to avoid.

Roberto's vision was beginning to come back "I can see again. What there is no in hell a single person can defeat a giant not even a fishman. Can it? Na Impossible." Nonetheless with his vision back, He can now fight again. This meant the tide of the battle was now in their favor. Roberto got up ready to fight "Men change of plans instead of us sneaking into the palace. We are going to bust into the front door. Let's back kurage and charge into the place. We can just steal it up front instead of a sneak attack." Roberto jumped off the ship shoot out some magma from his cigar hand. He rode the magma like a wave toward Kurage in an effort to help him. He fought bravely for all of them. At least they could do is carry the rest of the load.

As soon as Bluebeard heard Roberto, he quickly grunted; "Aye sir." as he turned the ship around to the shore, before stating dryly; "The prisoner from earlier wishes to join your crew sir, he seems quite against the world goverment, and Widdles seems to like him.", before moitoning to a few crewmates to lower the sails while he went to throw the anchor overboard.

Meanwhile bellow deck, Widdles heard the commotion updeck, and then Bluebeards own voice which caused him to long to be outside the room, to which the diminutive manticore walked past the young pirate prisoner and scratch at door to the stairs that led back aptop the ships deck, whinning much like a dog would when it was upset.

hardly waiting for the ship to dock Midas jumped off the ship opening tight coin slots on his feet letting them get trapped in his shoes so they rolled like wheels. The hook wielding mobster skated toward the battle with a grin he had been hoping for a good fight and an excuse to use this technique. He grinned as he sped toward the crowd of soldiers arm extended his stormy eyes flashing and the white fur coat flowing behind him Bank bank beli shotgun pulling back his fist he punched forward launching the shotgun blast of 20 coins into the crowd of soldiers.

Gripping the axe tightly and seeing the guards in shock still attempting to fight strong Kurage stood there looking at each and everyone of them. He was holding the frozen princess in the tentacles in his left calf. She was poking through his calf and held in place with ease. As he took a step closer to the guards he was holding the giant Bruno's axe above him, holding it with 4 tentacles Kurage no longer had a torso. His head was sitting there with a straw hat on and his legs were still fully formed holding his shorts on and holding the princess.

Swinging the axe down incredibly fast Kurage allowed the axe to roll over on to its top and raised himself up to the end of the handle of the axe and stood there looking down till the axe began to fall. As the axe began falling to the left Kurage released it and allowed the tentacles which had just released the axe to hit the ground first to soften his impact on on the ground.

Landing behind the guards Kurage turned to look at the guards and re formed his entire torso again and looked back at them. Raising his right arm Kurage allowed it to unform and reach out to the two closest guards whom he used his Entrance technique on.

As his tentacles wrapped quickly around them and shot in through their mouth's, nostrils, ears and other orifices they began squirming in pain screaming garbled by the tentacles in their mouth. It must have been a horrible feeling having slimy tentacles pushing through your body. Kurage chose to use his Fist Grip technique to launch a strong punch from his left hand, at the guards and allowed the fingers formed to open up wide and wrap around the guards which is when he tightly gripped with the tentacles strong enough to crush anyone caught in between the tentacles.

Kurage also chose to crush the guards he was currently holding with his right hand and from the inside he began crushing their bodies.

Roberto turned toward Bluebeard while surfing on magma "Bring him along too. No time to test his usefulness than the present. We are going to need all our strength." Roberto covered his right arm of magma and lauched a column of magma firing the guards in his way into ashes. He slid next to Kurage saying "Good job fishmen. I may even have to promote you after this. Graw haha haha."

The entire royal army was being slaughtered by the pirate crew until the corpses filled the streets with their blood. Their numbers fell to a mere thousand, while their king hid in his palace. He called on his den den mushi "Fleet admiral we need help. A group of pirates are taking over the country. I need help now!!!". The Fleet admiral responded "We are sending a person to settle the situation now. Gael Iura, a shichbukai will be handling them. Just tell your citizens to stay in doors until he arrives." The king wasn't easy knowing a shichbukai was coming along. He went outside is window ordering all his men to drink hero water. One thousand guards drank their viles of water hero giving them superhuman strength. All them ran toward the giovanni pirates.

In response to Roberto's answer, Bluebeard quickly rushed down to bellow deck and to the room which Widdles and the young prisoner were in before barking; "Prisoner, go outside to the battlefield if you wish to prove yourself! And Widdles deary, get on daddy's shoulder so he can keep an eye on you when he's working.", to which the diminutive manticore leapt atop his shoulder and squeaked happily; "Aye Daddy!" Without waiting from a response from the young pirate, Bluebeard rushed back atop deck and then leapt ashore, dashing towards the enemy troops and quickly unsheathing his sword. "Spore Stream!", the mercenary bellowed as he sent what looked like a floating river of spores snaking speedily at the royal guards, attempting to strike them with a devistating impact.
