Appearance: A tall man at 7feet 8inches. He has wild, dirty blond hair that falls down to shoulder height. He wears a large helmet with two horns that point downward, similar to a one worn by ancient vikings. He has dark red eyes and dirty blond goatee. He is of medium build and is proportionate (as most giants do are not proportional). He wears deep black boots, worn with age, that lead up to the space between knee and shin. His tough, brown pants tucked themselves into his boots. A large belt circled his waist, winding through the pants' hoops and ending in a round belt buckle. A faded green shirt with cuffs folded to the elbow, lay open: baring his hairy chest. A waistcoat made from wolf fur lay just over that shirt, also open.

History: It had been in an earlier year. Much earlier. Derek, a giant from Elbaf saved the life of Prina Hurli. They soon fell in love but could never marry, so they kept their love secret while Derek sailed to the furthest corners of the world looking for the one thing that could bring them together.
The Mini Mini no Mi. The fruit that could make him small enough to marry Prina. He searched for years and finally came back to find Prina had not forgotten him. He had lost a leg and a few years of life but otherwise, the giant was fine. He had eaten the fruit and was able to marry his true love. It was the perfect love story.
Yet it didn't last. Prina ran away with a marine officer after being with Derek for a year. Derek tried to chase the couple but was outwitted and out maneuvered. He couldn't catch the pair and so fell into a deep depression, from then on being known as "The Blue Giant".
Prina, a week or two after eloping, started realising she was pregnant. Sure enough, nine months later an extremely large bundle of joy came into this world, while her soul left it. She died as she gave birth from the strain of giving birth to a half-giant baby. A baby who's father did not even know about him and the person in who's care he was placed had to take on the challenge. Officer Harvey Digour was the only one responsible for the child, yet he knew it would be a task too great for him. So he placed the child in the care of the only giant he knew: The Blue Giant.
Derek the Blue had always wanted a son and took the half giant baby in as his own. He did not realise it but the baby was in fact his own. Though he did not make the connection as he wasn't the brightest giant. Yet he was a great adventurer.
He named the young boy Faryn, his father's name. He nurtured the boy from the first day. He would give him a cow or two a day to drink milk from and even tore strips from the curtains that lay around the old, dusty house to make nappies for the young Faryn. Faryn himself was tearing curtains at the age of four and picking up his own cows at the age of twelve. Yet as he got older, he started to realise he wasn't like the other children. He was taller and stronger, two things good about being a giant. This also meant he got mistaken for someone older. He was forced to join the marines at the ripe old age of 15 and was inducted immediately. No physical checks were necessary with a boy that size.
He was sent into the front lines of the 10 year war. He was stationed aboard four ships in his lifetime on The Front, each captain saw him as a strong leader and he was the bosun in each ship earning him the name: Faryn Bosun.
The war started to tether off as the marines finally started pushing The Fruitless Raiders into the Calm Belt. Faryn spent another year on the front lines before going home.
He arrived home with cheer and smiles all around, but the dusty old house did not contain Derek the Blue. Derek the Blue had apparently been driven away from this place by the same people who payed Faryn's wages. It infuriated the young giant, who was now almost 26. He lapsed into a rage so intense that a few of the docked ships were shattered. Broken into useless piles of junk.
He was eventually caught after being knocked out by a canon ball. The marines dragged the half giant onto a ship bound for an upstate prison. Faryn, who was thought to be a Devil Fruit user, was shipped off in a pair of seastone cuffs.

After a month of traveling, the ship finally came into sight of the prison island they would dropping the half giant on. Yet when they walked into the lower decks and down to the brig, they knew they would not drop anyone off at the island. For the cuffs were broken, the cell door was off its hinges and there was a hole in the hull just above sea level, causing water to fall into the lower deck as the ship pitched on the high seas. They did not find him .

Personality: He loves to laugh. Laughing basically takes up most of his day. He is also what they call: A born leader. He is someone who has been born to lead and is good at doing it. He can't read and is touchy about that subject. Can't write either. He loves fishmen, he was apparently saved by fishman when he was on The Front line. He doesn't take kindly to those that sell other humans, giants or fishmen. He doesn't really care about money. He likes food though. His favorite food is bull. He could eat one bull in a sitting. He loves adventure, puns, awkward moments and women. He loves women. He hates clams, marines, and tomatoes, they give him gas(the tomatoes I mean). Otherwise he is an average young adult, doesn't care about his future and loves to use his ax.

Anti-aging: He has also obtained the longevity from his father, yet like the strength it is a bit less than an average giant. (Still much more than an average human though)

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
Ax mastery: He was taught from a young age how to use an ax and has mastered it over the years.
Ax wheel: The ax spins in a clockwise direction, chopping anything that dares to touch it.
Backslash: A backhanded slash for those pesky opponents who get behind him.
Airborne: A quick ax throw can usually teach a foe or two a good lesson. He can throw up to 15ft approximately.
Ax Butt: The ax handle is a good way to knock out that pesky foe who he doesn't want to kill.(Yet)
