Serious: The Greatest goal, one last obstacle before the new world In Alabasta ((ENd and Closed))

Nite suddenly took out a den den mushi, he had seen enough of Gael and wanted his title to someone more deserving then a traitor.. leaving it on him any longer would only further disturb Nite, as the people needed a better shichibukai then one that would willingly choose a yonku over the marines. The Den Den Mushis eyes opened and Nite made a very brief message to marineford, they would make it official.

"This is Commodore Nite Strider.. Gael has chosen to side with Anubis and has interfered with our battle, saving his life in return... remove him from the title of shichibukai if I have not stated the obvious already."

Nite waited a brief second for a response, his face remaining emotionless and blank as his eyes looked at the explosion he had caused. An answer was received soon after: "Commodore Nite Strider, this is your frequency.. therefore the news must be true, we are eliminating him from the title as we speak, thank you for your cooperation with us.

The Den Den Mushi closed its eyes as Nite returned his gaze into the battle-field, his mind was much more at ease now.. as he looked around him he didn't see anyone putting their eyes on him, he made a paper platform bellow his feet just in case his voice was somehow heard by these power freaks working under Anubis. If they did catch him, he could simply fly away.

SALTY (BATTLE SITE)

"D-Damn it!" a man said, hidden behind a big rock as the big battle took place between the Anubis Pirates and their allies against the marines and those who were assisting them. The man seemed to be quite scared and his legs were trembling as he moved his head out of the rock to look at what was going on. "At first those revolutionaries and now that battle... Damn... What am I supposed to do? I have to approach them to take the good pictures I need! Darn it!" the man said. Apparently, the man was none other than Salty Peppery, the captain of the Photography Department of the marines. At first, the man ended up taking on a few revolutionaries and fought with them and by the time he finally reached the main forces to take the pictures his higher ups needed, he realized that it was too dangerous!

"Think, Salty, think!" Salty whispered as he started thinking of a few ways to do what he had to do, without risking his life. However, as he thought, images started coming to his mind... Images of his fellow marines who were battling against those dangerous pirates... Images of soldiers who were willing to risk their own lives for the sake of justice... Images of the warriors who were fighting for the safety of the world. Images of his comrades. All the marines around were battling for that sole reason. They were all aiming to protect the world. Even if their ways could be different, all of them wanted to ensure that the whole world would be safe and that Anubis would not live any longer to cause any more harm and Salty should be one of those marines. He would have to give his assistance in the battle. Even if he was a weakling, he still had a few things to offer...

The head of the Photography Department took a deep breath and cleaned his neck that was full of sweat because of the stress he received. He quickly cleared the neck from the sweat and then he placed a few bullets inside his weapon. He would have to fill his weapon with bullets so that he would start shooting the enemy pirates. Those pirates... They all were very strong... Salty knew that there were not many things he could offer, but he was sure that if he did so, he would slightly increase the chances for the victory of the marines.

With a determined look on his face, Salty prepared to get out of the rock. However, before he moved out of the rock, a loud noise was heard. A loud noise was moving towards his ears and was annoying him greatly... The screech was definitely something... Before he could move out of the rock, the man fell on his knees... The attack of Hibiki had unintentionally reached him as well and he was temporarily deaf. Even if he was hiding, Salty had not realized a thing... Even if he hid himself, he would still be unable to protect himself from wide radius attacks... He was quite lucky to find that out soon. Now he had one more reason to get out of the big rock and assist his fellow marines.

FERDINARD (BATTLE SITE)

As the battles were taking place between the forces of Anubis and the Marines, another marine was looking at the scene from afar, from a completely different direction. Apparently, that marine was not a member of Salty's unit. He was a very, very different marine... Unlike other marines with his rank, that guy was much stronger and his level was at least of a rank above his current one. He had medium length long hair and he had a smile on his face. He was Ferdinard Maimou, the cousin of the Sea Emperor Maximillion Maimou.

"What do we have here?" Ferdinard laughed as he looked at all those events that were going on. "Gael Iura betrayed the World Government, huh? FAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Interesting... It is not like I did not expect it at all... That guy was already suspicious of betrayal... His strength, though, did not allow the World Government to strip him off his title... However, as he know clearly showed his true colors, I am pretty sure that this guy shall be erased from the forces of the Government and that we will get to see his replacement soon... I wonder who it will be... FAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Who would guess that things like these would happen in this battle? The power level has increased very much in this battle... Or should I say in this war? " Ferdinard commented to himself, with a smile on his face. That guy... He was so strange. He always liked laughing, something that made him creepy, and now he was talking to himself. However, that could actually be explained by the fact that he was a Maimou... All the known Maimous, Maximillion Maimou, Manta Maimou and himself, Ferdinard Maimou, had a quite peculiar personality.

"Time to move, then." Ferdinard commented as he stopped laughing and kept a small smile. He took off his glasses and looked towards the direction of the battling site... The look on his face was not usual... It was looking exactly like another person's... It was looking like his cousin's Maximillion's. He slowly started walking towards the area of the battle. Another marine had just entered the fray...

ARABASTA SOLDIER (BATTLE SITE)

"Mashidi-sama!" the soldier who was following Mashidi the whole time said with a worried look on his face, as he noticed that he was going to start battling as well. "You should not battle, sir! You should rest to take on Anubis! Those guys are quite dangerous! You can't battle all of them! If you do so, you'll tire yourself and you'll be unable to defeat Anubis! Think about it!" the soldier commented to Mashidi, as he was taking on Sven. Even if he knew that his words were not going to reach Mashidi, he hoped with all his heart that Mashidi would listen to him and step back. He had to keep his strength for Anubis and not for his allies who were assisting him. After all, if the head was taken out, the rest of the Anubis Pirates would be left unguided and they would be fated to lose the battle.

MAXULUS (BATTLE SITE)

As the battles were taking place, Maxulus, just like Salty and Ferdinard, was levitating high on the sky and he was at a spot away from the main battle. That battle... It was one of the most ferocious battles he had ever seen. He could compare it to the battle of Shabondy Archipelago, the battle of Enies Lobby and the battle of Atlantis. It was one of the greatest battles in the history of piracy... And that guy... Just like Anubis, Maxulus had the luck to take part in all these battles, he played his role in all the three previous ones. And now, it was about time for him to play an important role in the battle of Arabasta... He was prepared to do something...

Smoke and debris are all that can be seen on the ground where the fight between him, Zalton and Morbius was occurring, after Todd's extremely powerful, multiple slice attack has turned this place into nothing but rumble.
He is already on the way going, using Geppou, and scooting around the city.
He didn't expect Zalton would be able to get out of that onslaught alive, and even if he could, he'd probably be very damaged anyway, he thought, as he goes as fast as he can. The Anubis pirates main forces are there and there, and one of his main targets, Satoshi, is there too. Close to him. So he has to hurry up. Thought, he quickly realized that he probably wasn't inside the city, after all, a portion of the city was in ruins cause of his attack.
Thankfully there weren't any civilians there at the moment, only pirates, he thought, not cause he cared for them, but because he didn't want to have to hear it from the HQ.

((OOC: Sorry Zalton, I just wanted to have Todd go there, and I couldn't delay this any longer. I did not called a hit thought, so you can simply say you wasnt harmed, alright ? ))

The chain inside zalton's zip lined back into place as Todd and Morbius climbed in to the sky. Zalton really hated the geppo attack, thinking of it as a cowardly technique, mostly because it put opponents out of his range. Using his Devils Tooth he spun it around his head in order to block and deflect the enemies attack. When the smoke cleared they were both gone. Cursing them he set off in order to make contact with main forces. In to his Den den mushi he calls Anubis. "The two people I found here one marine and a ciphor pol member got away. Im on my way there..."

Hearing the screams for a medic, Kin briskly dashed over. He didn't rush himself, for he needed to conserve his stamina and he didn't truly care one bit whether either side lived or died. But he also didn't move too slow, because time WAS money, and the more lives that died, the more money he would loose.

He got over in ten minutes and found several doctors trying to keep alive the soldiers they were in charge of. "I heard someone needed a Medic? 100,000 Beli per patient. Trust me, this is a bargain, seeing as some will have worse injuries than others."

Almost instantly ice shot up Derge Sr.'s arm. Even with his insulated gloves and resistant life return body the ice was spreading quickly. With a quick punch, Derge Sr. smashed the ice around his hand; this caused him to drop the sword. Sand shot up as the vice admiral's foot connected with the hilt of the icy sword. The sword drove deep into the wooden dome around Gael and Anubis. The swords powers caused the hardened water to spread the longer it was connected; if not removed soon the ice would make the wooden dome rather brittle.

Why in the hell were Clearwater and her firstmate covering their ears? Wait a second; was the exact words that went through Derge Sr.'s head when he looked over to the guitar wielding warrior of the Anubis Pirates. Putting two plus two together it wasn't all that hard to do in this case. Taking off his gauntlets, he placed them at his sides; he could feel the chill on his hip from the gauntlet that had been frozen moments ago. Placing his hands over his ears, Derge Sr. could still hear the sound emitted from the sound user. He assumed that was the case with allies and enemies.

This was actually a good thing for the marine. He was great with fighting with his legs, while his opponents were not. This gave him the advantage at this point. Using soru Derge Sr. closed the distance between him and the now weaponless Delia Clearwater. Turning his feet towards the woman he began spinning. With super quick kicks he formed an airblade barrier formed around him. It came to a point where his feet were positioned and widened the farther up his body it went. With the spinning motion the airblades formed a drill like attack that would drill through the hardened ice and body of the captain if it hit. Even if it wasn't a direct hit the attack would still send out sharp airblades that could create deep gashes on the captain's armor down to her body. This was a much smaller version of the attack Derge Sr. used against Maximillion; however it would be just as deadly if it hit.

-Sven Wiegaard-

Sven's arm followed through with his attack and he brought it back to his side. "If you had been a second late, you wouldn't have been worth my time. But I digress. Your skills are quite substantial; I can see it already." He readjusted his stance to accommodate for the newfound space between him and his opponent. His arm moved away from his body slightly, still somewhat bent to ensure his blade didn't get too far away from his body in the case of an attack from Mashidi.

"Oh, a seastone weapon... they're said to be stronger than diamond, or so I've heard. Bizarre..." Sven twirled the blade in his hand, oblivious to whatever was going on around them. He wouldn't - or couldn't - take note of whatever Hibiki was doing, simply because it was too far away to bother him. "This weapon is the one that's got the fruit. Sorry to say, but if you want to prevent me from doing too much damage..." He returned his grip on the sword to its borderline vicelike state, before preparing to attack.

"You'll have to cut off my arms." He returned to the attack, bringing his sword down at an angle to try to catch Mashidi off guard. His goggles kept his sight clear despite the ridiculous amounts of dust being knocked into the air. He would attempt to bring as many cuts down on Mashidi before he could react, but in all likelihood the number of slashes would max out at four. Sven wasn't quite as quick as some of his compatriots of the blade.

-Raulin Denys-

Raulin was not surprised nor impressed that Satoshi blocked his attack. Instead, he was more impressed at the raw power he could feel behind Satoshi's movements. The man was certainly a demon, and it felt like a great honor to fight him. To survive an encounter with the man would likely turn such a combatant legendary. Raulin met Satoshi's defense with all the power he could muster, reinforcing the blade by controlling the iron within it as best as he could. Under normal circumstances, Raulin would have expected such a quickly made blade as his to be broken in half easily.

It wasn't enough that he was getting the equivalent to being attacked from the front in response to his attack, but Satoshi was also managing to do a roundabout attack to his side. With a decent amount of effort, Raulin managed to split his attention enough to telekinetically control the sword near his leg and the iron tether attached to it. He quickly whipped the sword around to block Satoshi's attack, but because of the simultaneous nature of Satoshi's two attacks, the added force was more than enough to affect Raulin's airborne body.

Raulin got knocked out of the air and flew through the air, colliding with the ground and sliding along the ground. He kicked up tons of sand and knocked swords everywhere until he collided with the snake he had rode in on. As the sand settled, Raulin stood up and gripped his sword more tightly. He lost the one that was attached to his leg, and he realized that at his point, he had just been screwing around. There was no reason for him to play around with an enemy of this caliber. He needed to begin to actually fight.

He began to walk towards Satoshi, surely recovered from his counterattack at this point. Raulin began to knock swords into the air, juggling them by knocking them about with his blade. At the moment, it was his most powerful method of attack, but considering who he was up against, he wasn't going to take any chances. With a maelstrom of blades spinning around him, Raulin returned to the offensive. He was definitely totally getting in Satoshi's way, but he didn't care.

He was smacking the swords around him at Satoshi while running around to replenish his stock. The maelstrom consisted of at least ten swords at all times, and prepared his defenses for when Satoshi actually came after him. By the time all was said and done, he had knocked six or seven swords at Satoshi from a broad arc of locations over the span of half a minute. In the event Satoshi were to actually attack him head on, he prepared to expand the range of his Beware the Steel stance to catch Satoshi off guard.

-Gael Iura-

"Oh, it's great to see it's taken effect so quickly! Maybe you'll be back to your normal self, kicking some ass in no time! I want to help you out a bit..." Gael took out a small, bristly seed, and stuck it onto Anubis' neck. "I know it feels weird, but if for some reason you get attacked and I'm not right nearby, it should spontaneously defend you. Not on a sentient level, though, just a thick shield. You know, because we logia aren't totally indestructible and all. I'm sure you'll be fine, but precautions are never a bad thing."

Gael scoffed a little at Anubis' question. "Oh please. It was me and Satoshi. If I couldn't immobilize someone to choke them to death, he was cutting them in half with his swords. Really, it's almost insulting to hear you say that, as if you expected us to run into trouble. All in all, it was like walking through a field of violets while someone parted the sea of flowers before you had to step on them. It was easy. Though, I must say, I think Satoshi's a little bit obsessive. He was goin' all loopy when we were on our way back."

He looked up, unpleased to see Gideon was still moving. "You were supposed to fall down like a limp pincushion, you idiot." He raised a hand and gestured at the smoldering remains of his Silva Acus. Limbs began to grow out of the sides of the stumps and launch into the air. The branches began wrapping around Gideon in a quadruple helix to try to catch and immobilize him.

The captain was enraged and didn't hesitate to make her move. How dare the other use her own weapon against her comrades?! This was really pissing Delia off, even though she was only acting as a distraction so that Derge wouldn't get to Anubis and Gael who were apparently now encased by the shichibukai's plants. It wasn't long before the ice would make the wood brittle and easy to break, making Anubis and Gael easy targets.

She dodged, or as much as she could dodge Derge's next attack. It was irking her that he was underestimating her abilities, probably thinking that all her skills were with the sword and was pretty much defenseless. Delia would prove him wrong by reinforcing her armor, wincing and letting out a pained hiss as some of the air blades hit their target. By reinforcing her own armor though they only chipped away at the ice and would certainly leave bruises and some cuts around her body. She was able to do this by using her own sweat as fuel for her ice; it wouldn't be as good as natural water but it would suffice.

"Why do you keep on underestimating me Derge?!" she exclaimed to him with a venomous tone as she glared at the marine. Delia didn't wait for an answer though as she quickly made her way towards the wooden dome, taking out the sword from where it was stabbed to and running her hand along the blade to sooth it since it had missed its master. Her eyes narrowed and with a swift move of her hand let the sword soak at some of the blood that was still coming out from fresh wounds she hadn't closed up yet.

The captain didn't miss a beat and slashed over to where Derge was, crying out the name of her next attack with a fiery passion. "Crimson Tigre!" she shouted, watching as the bloody beast of ice materialized in the air and let out a guttural roar as it made its way towards the marine. This attack was only reserved now for dire occasions after working on it while in hiding since it took a lot out of Delia, and now that it had been performed said captain was on her knees and panting hard as she tried to regain her strength. It wasn't long before Barius was by her side and helping her out.

The crimson beast was still going to strike, its claws sharp and ready to slice while his bared fangs wanted to take a bite out of the marine. "Are you sure it's going to last captain?" the navigator said with a worried one as he looked at the young woman kneeling beside him. She just nodded weakly before looking up with a determined expression. "All those times I attacked him were mostly to see something I had noticed before he started attacking me. Crimson Tigre won't disappear until its time runs out or I die, and it's surely going to stand against the other's attacks," she explained while a small and tired smile appeared on her features.

"He underestimated me too much...I despise people that do that," she then added while watching as the scene unfolded.

(Erica Near Lenny)
Floating on the bubble around her waist Erica Voltz Floated over to Lenny Celeste. "Reporting for Dutiy sir!" Giving Lenny A Slaute she handed him her transfer paper's. "Fishing for pirates are we? I cant wait!" Her Dark Yellow eyes Watched Lenny as is studying him. As the Wind pushed the back of her blond pony tail sticking out the back of her marine cap.

Electricity pulses around Erica's Body as she was ready and geared up for battle. Wagging her black yellow fined Tail around to keep up with Lenny she awaited his orders.

(Ashley Near Darnel)
Somehow Sharpfang missed Anubis as he returned to Ashley. Before turning back into a bow Sharpfang gave Ashley a Confused look.

"We need to regroup back to Darnel There so much going on around us is this endless maze of trees and sand I cant get my bearing's straight!"

Ashley looked at Sharpfang with a serious look. "Its Time Sharpy!"

"SharpFang Steel Armor Mode!"Sharpfangs Shapes His Metal body to Fit Ashley inside. Useing His Metal body as A Suit sharpfang's The Mouth is opened wide enough so Ashley can see as She moves With Sharpfang. to use his abilities.

Ashley used Soru to Speed through the forest in Her Sharpfang armor sprouting two swords from her wirt useing her mini thrilar Hollow blades to slice through the trees as she sped towards Darnell.

(Chusei Near Anubis)
Activating his Jet Boot's instantly Chusei blasted into the Air Above the Tree''s avoiding what ever the finger bullets were. Then creating Invisible reflect wall's about 4ft by 4ft under his feet which lightly reflected him off of the wall's allowing Chusei to run as he pleased on his invisible platform.

Chusei didnt have time to Deal With Payne his main priorty was Anubises Protection. Useing Shadow Soru Chusei sped around the sky observing the battle. Far from sight he positioned himself above Anubisand dropped down to 25 ft above Anubises head before creating his invisible platform again.

Now in a better poistion to protect Anubis Chusei Touched his Blue and Red Katana's together creating a huge cloud of stream surrounding him above anubis. Which would Properly conseal Chusei leaving others to only see a cloud.

Payne looked up at Gideon and waved doing a secret Marine signal. Gideon nodded and the both used their skills of Soru towards the Palace to avoid getting harmed any further. They both landed on the sand in front of the barricade and jumped over the 10 foot barricade. Gideon and Payne both then landed on the Palace Side of the barricade that was protecting the Palace. Payne couldn't hear a thing, which Gideon didn't know. Payne walked through a group of medics who were ran up to tend to his cut on his back. They began putting medicine on it to make it good as new. Payne sat on a miniature pillar and looked over at Gideon. Gideon had finally pulled out the last needle in his back and began feeling woozy.

Payne:"WE NEED MORE SOLDIERS UNTIL I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO PUSH THEM BACK! GIDEON! YOU LOOK TIRED! YOU SHOULD REST! LEAVE THE FIGHTING TO US FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES!"

Gideon:"Why the hell are you yelling?"

Payne:"SPEAK UP GIDEON I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

Gideon:"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU YELLING!?"

Payne:"WHY ARE YOU NOT SPEAKING UP GIDEON! SPEAK UP!"

Gideon:"Forget it..TROOPS! EXPOSE YOUR SELF'S!"

Yelling that, about 40 extra Marines jumped from out of the sand. All wielding sabers and rifles. Some pushed Motors out of the ground. They must have set up before Payne was here. Gideon was known to be quiet the strategist. These men were enough to hold off powerful pirates on their own.

Medic:"Vice Admiral Payne! You've been slightly Poisoned! It's not bad..this antidote should service..Give your self 10 minutes before you move again.."

Payne:"WHAT!? WHAT DID YOU SAY!?.."

Gideon faced palmed and then mouthed the words to pain in what the medic said. Payne nodded. Payne then held up his Den Den Mushi and called out to Spencer. While Gideon walked behind two giant pillars and through two enormous bushes, which once behind them he was completely invisible. He then laid down on the floor and fell asleep instantly.

Payne:"SPENCER!? WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Near Spencer

Spencer tuned into his Den Den Mushi and kept his eye on Hibiki. He kept his fighting stance and looked at the pirate. Spencer was very skilled in fighting, but wasn't the strongest of Marines. Spencer swirled his tail around, he now had an extra limb, and had complete control over it.

Spencer:"Very Busy Sir! I've apprehended one of the Pirates! I'm going to proceed with arresting him if possible!"

Felicia then ran towards Spencer and kept an arrow in her grasp with her bow ready. She was in battle mode. Felicia let her large breast be slightly covered with her bra and her skirt fly open with her panties showing.

Felicia:"I'll fight with you! You can count on me Boy!"

From The Rear Desert, behind the battle, in the direction the Pirates came from

Steven and about 40 Marines who finally were able to get out of the maze like castle marched forward to battle. Steven let his sword shoot out his right hand and his left hand which was a Photon Cannon transform into Cannon mode.

Steven:"..The Attack Unit is on its way.."

Derge Sr. merely braced himself against the fearsome blood tiger. It was the woman's ultimate attack, or at least the strongest one he had seen her use. Holding up his arms he blocked the tigers claws with his gauntlets. With a quick upward kick, Derge Sr. launched a Rankyaku pushing the blood beast back momentarily. Throwing his arms forward, Derge Sr. used a powerful attack of his own.

"Rokuogan"

A powerful shockwave blasted the feline made from frozen blood away. The power of the attack shot through it's target and continued on. A crater formed in the sand causing sand to shoot upwards. However the Vice Admiral wasn't done quite yet. With his great speed Derge Sr. shot forward at the downed captain. This time, he wasn't going to stop. This time he wasn't going to let her off. This time he was serious.

"Sai Dai Rin: Rokuogan"

With this powerful shockwave attack, it really didn't matter if Barius blocked it would likely go through about any defense they could manage. The scale would be large and with Derge Sr.'s speed much more advanced than the captains or her firstmate's the likelihood of them dodging was also slim. It seemed the enhanced Derge Sr. was much stronger than the last time she fought him. It was true, he had underestimated Clearwater, however the result was the same.

Payne sat on the miniature pillar with his black Marine coat dragging on the floor. He closed his eyes as he began to rest his body. From what he seen Gideon mouth, he had been poisoned minor and had to wait a few moments for the antibodies to work on him. Payne wouldn't die regardless from the poison. But it would effect his fighting ability. Payne couldn't afford that. Him and Gideon had to survive this battle no matter what. It wasn't for a rank, it wasn't for his dislike of pirates. It was for the pride of the Marines. Countless current events have been taking place where the pirates have trampled over the Marines dignity and pride. Many of those times Payne was involved. He was a strong man, wise at that. Running through his mind like a increased river flow during a rain storm. His body feeling steadily back to normal. Payne's hearing began to return to him as well. He looked off in the distance. Noticing something approaching fast, and in numbers. If it were more Pirates, Payne would have no other choice but to pull out and retreat. If Marines, then this battle would be their long lasted victory. At that, something in Payne's heart had erupted like a atomic bomb. Payne then stood up and began shooting huge flames out his feet so that he was flying about 60 feet into the air. Payne looked down to see all his Marines standing down their fighting.

Payne's Great Speech of Ambition

"...MY FELLOW MARINES! THIS HEART OF MINE IS BURNING RED! ITS LOUD ROAR TELL'S ME TO GRASP VICTORY! WE ARE MARINES! WE ARE THE PROTECTORS OF THE INNOCENT AND KIND HEARTED! WE UP HOLD JUSTICE FOR THE GREATER GOOD! SO THAT ALL MAY BE STABLE AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST! ITS OUR STRONG POWER THAT KEEPS BALANCE IN THE WORLD! SO THAT YOUR CHILDREN! AND SO THAT YOUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN MAY COME INTO A WORLD THAT HAS ORDER AND PEACE! WE REMAIN HERE TO KEEP THAT PEACE! IN SO WE MUST NOT ALLOW THESE PIRATES TO HAVE THEIR WAY EVEN IF THEY MEAN NO HARM TO THE PEOPLE! As Payne began to finish, he surrounded his body in blue flames. He then held his fist in the air. Shot a huge blue flame into the sky. And caused it to expand into a huge blue blazing fire ball.

"WE MUST SHOW THESE PIRATES THAT JUSTICE ISN'T JUST SOME MERE PLACE MAT THAT YOU CAN STEP ON AND WHILE THE FECES OFF YOUR FOOT AND GO ON LIKE IT WAS NOTHING! WE MUST SHOW THEM THAT WE ARE STRONG! THAT WE ARE BOLD..."

Payne then spun his hand around and sliced the ball of fire in half. Causing it to change into the shape of the emblem on the Marine Flag. Its glow was so bright, it lit up the entire battle field. Payne didn't do this as an attack. No. It had a much deeper meaning. A Meaning of hope for the Marines. A meaning that single handily relit the urge to fight and every single Marine fighting this war right now's flame in their soul. This, was Marine Fire.

"WE MUST REKINDLE MARINE FIIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!"

Payne then slowly let his flying fire diminish as he went back to the ground. He landed back on the ground and then sat on his pillar. Although he stopped supporting the Marine Fire. It still stood their, burning strong. Payne then closed his eyes, and continued to rest.

Spencer and Felicia vs Hibiki

Spencer landed back on the sand after Hibiki blocked his sneak attack. The attack didn't do what he had hopped, but they did manage to harm him. His arrow to the arm should even the playing fields. Spencer looked into the sky and heard his superiors speech. Spencer then felt a great feeling rush through his body. It felt amazing. He felt like he couldn't literally take down any one and anything. Though he didn't let it go to his head. He took a different fighting stance as he looked at Hibiki.

Spencer:"I...I understand..Your words Vice Admiral Payne..They really have taken a root in my heart..this changes everything..I'm not going to lose this fight..even if I have to give up a arm or two!"

Lets Do this, Time To get Serious!

Spencer placed his right leg forward and kept his left leg straight. He held his right arm out ward and his left arm over head with his hand in a spear with his hand pointing downwards.

Spencer:"Evasive Style: Lets See what you can do!"

Felicia looked at Spencer and blushed. She then tore off all her clothing except her bra and Panties and kept her bow in hand. She held her bow horizontally and kept a arrow in her mouth and another in her hand pressed up against the cold bow. She bow sent shivers through her body and struck her bone. She was ready for some serious battle. Felicia kept her wits amongst her and waited. For Spenser's next move

Felicia:"I'm with you Kid! Let's do this right!"

Currently Approaching the Battle from Behind, Steven and his unit.

Steven and his men were just nearly inside the battle field. When a huge Slash of air cut through the sand in front of them and made a 10 foot deep, and 1 mile long trench. Cutting them across from the Battle. Steven heard the speech and was determined to get over the trench. Steven stopped and looked around to see who had created the obstical. Some one powerful that is. It was a sight for sore eyes, IT WAS LEON LEXUS.

Steven:"Shit...I didn't expect to see you over here..Then again I was briefed you had joined the Anubis Pirates..but I wasn't sure I'd see you here..MEN, CAREFUL! THIS MAN IS EXTREMELY POWERFUL! MANY OF YOU MAY NOT EVEN BE ABLE TO TOUCH HIM! STAY ON YOUR GUARD! MAKE YOUR WAY AROUND THE TRENCH WHILE I HOLD HIM OFF!! IF I BEAT YOU I'LL FOR SURE GET ENOUGH MONEY TO KEEP MY UNCLE ALIVE! I WILL DEFEAT YOU! I CANNOT LOSE TO YOU LEON LEXUS!!!!"

Leon walked with his left hand in his pocket and his right lazyly dragging along like a dead limb. He held his sword and let it run through the orange sand that his sword easily sliced through like butter. Leon then cracked his neck and pointed his sword at Steven.

Leon:"Well lets just see how strong one of the Marines "tools" really are..I won't hold back ya know.."

Steven then turned his arm back into a normal arm and took out his second blade. He then took a deep breath and charged towards Leon, with the intent to kill.

Steven:"UNCLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"

Back Near Payne

Payne then held his fist in the air with his head down and his eyes closed.

Payne:"This is It,THE REAL BATTLE STARTS NOW!!!!!!!"

[[Anubis]]

Anubis suddenly heard flapping and , set up the Anubis dome. It blocked the birds , within a inch of space, blocking off the birds. Anubis then felt the snake biting into his leg. But Anubis quickly rotted the snake away with his hands into sand.Anubis had suffered the first injury of this battle. The sand slowly dissipated with the explosions and such as Anubis limped towards the battlefield as the dust cleared.Anubis , held one of Gaels plants and held his leg. His wound on his leg was gone, he had used the moisture from the plant to heal himself. Anubis walked steady. "Good... i can move and breath.... finally.......well Satoshi is always like that Gael.. its to be expected.. thank you for the protection.... by the way, we seem to be under alot of attack... ill head to the front lines now."



[[Tanith vs Darnel and Nakamaru]]
Tanith quickly pulled her hammer away from Darnels attack to the side and swung her hammer against Nakamarus sword like a baseball bat hitting a baseball. She sent the sword flying back at Nakamaru. She turned her head to focus on Darnel, he obviously had great physical ability being able to hold off her attack, no wander master MAnus died, this marine was clearly strong.

[[Mashidi vs Sven]]
Mashidi had heard the guitar attacks and was shocked when he heard the weapon had the devil fruit, could devil fruits actually do that? Mashidi then twirled his staff again and matched Svens attack, but he was still unable to get the upper hand. He kept clashing away, trying to find the right time to strike.

[[Satoshi vs Raulin]]
Satoshi deactivated Breath of the beast.This barrage of attacks aimed at him were intense, they were very intense and Satoshi knew the swords were coming, Instead he got into stance and held one sword in front and the other behind him as he held his ground, his muscles tensing "30 ANGRY RONIN!!!!!" He blocked the majority of sword attacks aimed for him, since this defense was especially for blocking projectiles. However Satoshi could feel blood trickling from his back, shoulders and sides. It was all grazes, luckily Satoshi had activated Ronin in time, or he would be in bad shape. Satoshi stood steady looking to Raulin, Satoshi kicked the ground , sending sand flying everywhere, and finally lunged at Raulin using the basic sword storm attack, sending a barrage of cuts aimed at vital areas.

[[Anubis on the frontlines]]
Anubis quickly dashed to the front of Delia and used Sand dome to block the sai dai rin rokougan. The attacked was absorbed and the sand dome which was pretty densed was dented.The sand began to dissappear as Anubis was standing there, no longer pale or sickly. He held his palm up and stood beside Delia "Im sorry im late......"

Anubis then heard Paynes speech. The marines were riled up for battle and Anubis then used a sand carpet to pull Delia and Barius behind him, so they would be protected. Anubis then yelled "DERGE!!!! PAYNE!!!!!!! COME!!!! ILL FACE YOU BOTH AND SHOW YOU MY LAW!!!!!!!!" Anubis had sand forming around him, he was going to face the two biggest players in this game, he then sent two giant sand blades, one at Derge and the other Payne "DESERT SPADA GRANDE DOUBLE!!!"

FERDINARD (BATTLE SITE)

"FAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" a very loud laughter was heard as soon as Anubis spoke his words and challenged the two powerful Vice Admirals into a battle. That laughter... It was a laughter that belonged only to one man... Ferdinard was around the place... He was near from the two Vice Admirals and he was prepared to assist them. He had just entered the fray, after he watched the battle from the sidelines for quite a while.

"Vice Admirals! Allow me to tell you that this is not a command... I am just informing you that your road to take on Anubis is going to be clear! I will stop anybody who is going to try and hit you... There is no way they can pass through me... Including that guy in the cloud... FAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Ferdinard said as he appeared by landing on the ground. It seemed that he was speaking while standing high on the sky, thanks to the Shockwave Fly technique which he was using. "Do not worry about anybody... I will be blocking them... Including the little fairy which is hiding in that cloud...".

Ferdinard had a smile on his face as he spoke those words. He looked at the cloud in which Chusei was hiding and he started speaking to him a few seconds afterwards. "Chusei Kuroshinku... Do you know who I am?" he asked Chusei while pointing his palm towards the cloud, prepared to launch his Shockwave attack against him... "If you do not, then allow me to inform you... I am the cousin of your former captain... And I am sorry to tell you that I will have to eliminate you as you are nothing more than a remnant of his activities. Remember my name... FERDINARD MAIMOU! FAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!". Ferdinard was prepared to give anything he had in order to take on Chusei. He had to beat him... He had to beat the subordinate of his cousin to prove to everybody and to himself that he was a strong marine who could actually take on Maximillion in the future.

While he spoke those words, the look on Ferdinard's eyes was a quite determined one. By looking at his eyes, something that people rarely could do as he always wore sunglasses, anybody could understand the burning passion that the marine had for battles and by looking at his smile, anybody could understand the arrogance and the confidence which the marine had over his own strength. He really believed in his own strength and powers and he was pretty sure that he could defeat Chusei. And so, he was waiting for the pirate's answer... He waited to see what Chusei would say and actually what he would do.

Arabasta Soldier (Battle Site)

"You can do it, sir!" the soldier said while he was cheering for Mashidi, as he looked at him, battling Sven. "I will be cheering for you! You are the best soldier of the place, after all!" he continued saying and he looked at the battle between his commander and the enemy pirate...

Searching around, he hears some noises nearby, and familiar ones as well. As if he could feel it, he stops wandering around and turns to the left, and towards the edges of Nanohana, close to the port, where he has spotted some fighting going on. Todd is pretty sure that this time he got it right, so he starts to walk towards the direction faster, grinning. However, a spiked, large ball of iron is ejected towards Todd at the right side. He blocks it with a rapid swing of his axe, and then sighs, irritated. "You was lucky to survive and you come to fight again ? This is a waste of time .."
One of the prominent members of the Anubis pirates, Clark, previously defeated and heavily injured by Todd, stands up towards him, attempting to take him out.

"Heheh, Field work will cost an extra million for putting my life on the neck for you. But I'm sure you don't mind that now."

He walked over to an injured and began operating immediately. The man had three places in his right leg where bones were broken and he had a deep bullet wound in his shoulder. Operating as quickly as he could, he pulled out a painkiller and shoved it into the man's broken leg. Then he went to deal with the gun shot wound. He began disinfecting it while using a scalpel to make room for the bullet fragment.

The bullet had shattered the shoulder, so he would need to bandage it up as well once the bullet was removed. The bullet was in deep. He had to cut off some skin that was already growing around the bullet, but after that, he simply needed some tweezers to remove the bullet while the scalpel kept the hole open. He could hear the patient cringe in pain as the scalpel's blade pushed against his inner layer of flesh and muscle. "Oh be quiet, the real pain should have already passed when the skin started growing around the bullet. It shows that it was at least ten minutes ago that the bullet had hit. You didn't seem to let it interfere with your fighting."

After patching up his leg and shoulder, he applied a brace to the leg and tied a cloth to hold his arm up. "Don't move your arm or your leg if you don't want to hurt any more. You're done for now, let everyone else die in the battlefield."

Looking back up at Best, he smiled small, but coldly, "So were next?"

Payne stood in the way of Anubis's attack. Completely still. Payne looked over at Anubis and gazed into his eyes with a purple burning flame in his eyes. Payne then kicked the blade to the side with his right foot and used Soru to get in quick towards Anubis. He stood inside Anubis's dome, waiting for Derge to enter.

"...I'll trust Ferdinard in that he'll watch out back..Together Anubis's chance to escape are slim...Even though I don't know how long Derge will hold up after taking so much damage..I'm going to apprehend you Anubis.."

Darnel thrusted his tail into the sand behind him. Using tail point Darnel extended his tail below Tanith in attempt to grab her. At the same time though, Darnel swung his nightstick to distract her from his sneak attack. Then he tasted something in the air. It was Ashley. In a final attempt to finish off this pirate Darnel ordered "Give no quarter to your enemies. Show them no mercy. We must not stop till every pirates is dead beneath. We must sound the drums of war. We must take the battlefield with swiftness and efficiency. Lets give the yonkou a reason to fear the marines."

Nakamaru just grinned at Darnels speech. ''We must not stop till every pirate is dead...'' That didn't sound to much like Darnel... But what ever Nakamaru liked it!

He was still in the air so he cought the sword by the blade and cut his hand. Nakamaru landed and spinned his sword aggain to gatger wind. The wind was really building up and it was getting really strong. Then Nakamaru let out a big blast of wind twoards Tanith's hammer trying to disarm her.

Hibiki

Hibiki saw the marine guy and the girl ready to fight. Strangely, the girl had torn all her clothings, only leaving her bra and her panties. Hibiki wouldnt be tempted and wasnt going to drool for this or anything, he wasnt a pervert and he wasnt going to fall for something like this. Even if his opponent was a girl, he had to stay strong. Whoever it was, they needed to fall.

The wond in his shoulder was being a bit of a pain, but Hibiki ignored it. He didnt have time to treat it right now. He extended his arms and unleashed a lot of sound into the area.

"Capoeira Party!!!" -Hibiki exclaimed using this move again. Sounds of drums and bongos filled the air, Hibiki considered his posibilities. He decided to leave the sound in the area, just buzzing around without harming anyone. But the unleashing of the sound would've alarmed anyone, and it was a good distraction.

Hibiki rose his arms, with his staff being holded by both his hands. A mass of sound energy rose behind him and could be easily confused bwith the other sound energy that was already flying around. Warm sweat fell from Hibiki's forehead and slided down to his chin. Hibiki brough down his arms with strenght and the mass of sound went over his head and was falling in direction to both Spencer and Felicia.

Hibiki didnt exclaim his attack but it was a Sound Crashing Wave. The attack would crush both his opponents in a explosion and hurt even their internal organs.

Lenny Celeste

Lenny's crewmates were already inside the attack or prepared for the fight. Lenny started to drive the Alpha Centauri armored tank/car through the sands of the Alabastian deserts. The thing was quite fast and it got them to Nanohana in no time, but that wasnt his destination.

Lenny was going towards Alubarna, he had to defend the palace. He pressed buttons and moved the cannons that the tank had to be able to shoot outside. The amount of sunlight received in this desert was perfect for the functioning of something like this, that was powered by this source.

As they got near to Alubarna he saw that there was a forest. A forest... in the middle of the desert... that didnt make sense at all. But Lenny had an ideaof who could be responsible for this... that Shichibukai he had heard about, he didnt remember the name but knew that one of them could control plants.

Lenny stopped the machine and jumped out of it, he stood there and talked to his crewmates.

"We have to defend Albuarna! If you find any of the Anubis pirates, fight them."- Lenny said.

Delia was shocked and her eyes widen when Anubis came in between the attack that was surely about to end her life and probably Barius's as well if he had interfered. She let out a ragged breath that she was holding while trying to come back to her senses and looked over at the yonkou standing in front of her. He looked better than what she had seen before and was now wondering if he had found the antidote...or maybe the plant user had something to do with this while protecting themselves in the dome surrounding them. Either way she was grateful.

"No need to apologize Anubis-sama...I knew you'd recover," she answered with a tired smile while holding her side at the pain she got while speaking. She didn't doubt that the yonkou would recover, but it was just the sheer fear she had about him feeling ill that had put her on edge all this time. "Eh?" she called out softly and startled when the sand underneath her started to move and brought both her first mate and her behind Anubis so he could fight against Derge and Payne.

She gritted her teeth and proceeded to stand up only to gasp sharply and fall back down to the sand. Delia looked over her body and noticed the ice that made her armor was already melting, her power weakening as she grew more tired after keeping it up for some time now. "I need to...help," she panted out while trying to stand up again only to feel a hand restraining her from her shoulder. "I am not going to have you waste your life captain. You need your rest...you fought well, hell you put up quite a fight, but just let the rest handle it now," Barius said in a firm but calm tone as he gave the young woman a stern look.

Delia might be the captain but he was still her guardian. The girl in question gritted her teeth and looked to the side, feeling that she hadn't done enough and that she should help out more. "I...I need to...Barius, it's not enough," she said with determination in her eyes but flinched when he glared at her and just looked away. It was no good, he was set to keep her in place and not make her move that much so her wounds wouldn't open again. All she could do now was keep her defenses up and watch as the others fought.

Spencer, with his reflexes doubled due to his animal instincts. Listened to the loud bongos and drums in the background. This was clearly the work of this man he was fighting. It must be a devil fruit. Spencer stood his ground for a moment and kept his eye on his opponent.

Spencer:"FELICIA! STAY ON YOUR TOES! BE READY TO COVER YOUR EARS IF I SAY SO!"

Felicia got the message. She then ripped off two pieces of cloths and balled them up as she stuck them in her ears so they wouldn't fall out. She then tied two identical clothes to an arrow and shot it at Spencer.

Felicia:"HERE!!"

Spencer saw the arrow come towards him and caught it with his tail. He looked at the two pieces of cloth and then barrel rolled to the right as he took then off the arrow. He imitated Felicia, the cloths wouldn't fall out unless he pulled them out. Spencer looked up and saw a beam shot in the direction he was standing in a few moments ago. Spencer then took the time to go for a counter attack. Spencer then used Soru to gain some ground on Hibiki as he was still in the middle of firing the beam. Evading this counter would be practically impossible. With the arrow in tail. Spencer did a straight forward kick towards his opponents chin. He then secretly spun his sword around in attempt to pierce it through Hibiki's genitals. Such a sneaky and swift attack would be incredibly hard to dodge.

Felicia:"..Now..."

Felicia, using her own high speed. Sprinted across the yellow sand as she dashed to the right of Hibiki and Spencer 20 feet away from them. She then took out two arrows. She then fired one arrow in the air above Hibiki, just encase he jumped out of Spencer's attack. She then fired another arrow behind Hibiki from the right. Just bellow the other arrow. Just encase he tried to step backwards. Felicia then ready her next arrow, for any unexpected surprises.

Spencer's kick hit Hibiki directly in the face and two back away from him he kicked the air using Air Climb to pop himself away from Spencer. The kick in his face had been pretty strong and had left his chin hurting a lot. Getting away from Spencer had been a good tactic to avoid further attacks like the swords slash.

But what he didn't notice... was that there was an arrow coming towards him in case he jumped. This was completely unfair for the division commander, it was two guys against him. The arrow went into the side of his torso and broke at least a rib or two. Hibiki screamed out in pain but took the opportunity to send out a Screeching Hell attack towards only Spencer and Felicia while he screamed in pain.

Hibiki kicked again to prevent himself from falling. The scream had been to distract Felicia and Spencer. He made the Capoeira Party that had been previously unleashed to multiply, still producing the same quantity of sounds as before and divide in two, being directed from all directions towards both Spencer and Felicia with great force. The sound had been swarming around for some time now and the change of directions would be hard to notice, especially with the distraction of the screeching hell.

That was Hibiki's strenght, the ability to confuse his opponents because he could control the produced sounds to sound like things they arent. But Hibiki was pretty tired... sweat ran down from his face like a hot rain. His wounds were bleeding and his left arm was aching because of the burn.

He wouldnt be able to continue for much longer. He kicked again, mantaining himself in the air.

Nite moved through the sands in the speed of a bullet, 4000 feet per second in this case. Once he did he looked around and saw ripples in the sand, something only created through attacks moving throughout the area, he remembered Hibiki made a technique moments ago but had no outcomes, if it was solid enough to hurt them then it was solid enough to make ripples in the sand. Nite made sure to create walls in the way of the directions the attacks were moving around the team mates he would have to protect. In an instant Nite moved himself on his paper platform shaped like a board, and moved towards Hibiki in the speed of a bullet, being out of the distance of Rodos attack Nite proceeded to appearing next to Hibiki and two other marines trying to fight Hibiki. His face remained its usual emotionless state, which gave his next words confusing meanings.

"Stand down marines, I will fight this man.. both of you focus on Anubis, as our Vice admirals had done a lot for today. They might need your help." Nite's eyes remained on Hibiki the entire time, he had seen his Devil fruit now and wrote notes on it on his papers, reading them and memorizing them. Hibiki was the target of his next sentence.

"I hate violence if it can be avoided, leave the battlefield and do not come back.. I will not interfere with Anubis if you choose to leave the battle alone where it is at." Nite was serious about the statement, fighting Anubis was none of his concern, he had to maintain the others from interrupting the marines from fighting Anubis. Hibiki was the main supporter in the current battle, his techniques have more then once attacked or were directed at other people.

"Both of you marines, go to Anubis or another division commander.. if I am defeated continue fighting where I left off, but for now I'll take care of him."

[[Morbius]]

Morbius was done patching up Maria, but she would need further medicine if she was to make it. Morbius wasnt a doctor after all. He had just managed to find this shack in the middle of the desert near Nanohana, he used his den den mushi "ALL CP9 members excluding those undercover, REGROUP WITH ME!!!!" Morbius cursed, this assignment had gone really bad in a hurry.

[[Anubis vs Derge and Payne]]

Anubis let the dome start dissipate as he held his hands up. Anubis noticed Hibiki was struggling , he looked back "HIBIKI!! PULL BACK..... we will need your strength for later!!! THIS IS AN ORDER!!!" Anubis had sand tornados forming on his hand. He turned back to face Payne "It matters not who i face here... you will not stop me from going into Alurbana....into my home......" Anubis then had sand chains form from underneath him, he fired off the sand chains at Payne.

[[Near Hibiki and Nite]]

"Yu cant make threats like that without some passion, AMIGO....." The flowereod shirt along with his cape. His handsome face looking upon Nite as he stood behind. Some of the nearby pirates ran towards the area or was fighting stood in ready trying to break into Alurbana "SI WE WILL FOLLOW COMMANDER ALRFRESCO!!!" Alfresco dusted off his cape "Now.. my amigo... Hibiki... go and rest, you have fought today, WITH A BURNING PASSION... so i will protect your effort !!!"
