Serious: The Greatest goal, one last obstacle before the new world In Alabasta ((ENd and Closed))

Payne watched his oppnents fail attempt to counter his attack. Straight on attacks were usless against Payne. Payne leaned to the right avoiding the first slash, then to the left avoiding the next slash, and ducked avoiding the last. Causing them to fly into who ever was unlucky enough to be standing behind him. Payne then inhaled and then used Soru to disappear from plane sight. Watching his opponent. It seemed he wasn't very fond of being burned. Then again no human would be. Payne then reappeared just a few feet closer to Hibiki. Payne then used Geppou to kick him self into the air, about a good 10 feet above Hibiki. Payne knew Hibiki didn't see him jump. So he took the element of surprise.

"..Satan's Sigh.."

Payne then fired off a huge blast of fire from above. In attempt to incinerate Hibiki. Payne then held out his index finger on his right hand and surrounding fire on the tip of it.

"...I dare you.."

<How bold this man is to put his weapon away when I am coming for him.> Zalton’s attack rebounds away from Todd and is pushed back. Zalton allows the scythes end to leave his hand and reveal the chain that was hidden in the handle. Todds Gods hand attack allowed Zalton to shift his body towards his left seeing as he was no longer holding the long behind his back. Maneuvering so that he was now 90 degrees turned left from his starting point, still holding the scythes other end he flicks the blade to the front allowing him block the shigan the barrage briefly until he kicked at Todd’s tenkai and right leg if the kick connected it should push Toddy back and arms length. This series of events would have also have led to him dodging Mathews attacks.

Marine Heroes
Ramus had been excited for days his dream lay before him. Taking a piece off worn paper from his pockter his pocket he looked at the bottom of the list which also happened to be the first name put on the list. There was Satoshi the man who stood at the summit of worlds swordsmen. In order to accomplish his goal then he would have to go through him.

Ramus to Lenny
Walking over to where the RA had stood after he had fired the beam. "You should know that despite your orders- I will be pursuing my goal no matter what."

Hibiki saw with disgust that his attacks had failed, they had been too simple. He saw Payne disappear from the place where he had been after kicking the ground.Soru...-Hibiki thought and suddenly Payne was in front of him, Hibiki for a second thought he was going to attack him straight away, but then he was no longer in front of him.

Hibiki looked everywhere looking for him in fractions of a second and he found him above his head, in the air starting to fire a burst of flames from his mouth after naming his attack Satan's Sight. Hibiki concentrated a humongous amount of sound energy in his Uproar Staff, which could amplify it and shot it at the burst of flames and Payne.

"Oto Sonic Boom!!!"- Hibiki screamed as a the gigantic beam was shot from his spear, when it went in contact with the fire Hibiki made it explode into a gigantic explosion of sound that moved all the air around and interrupted the path of the fire, but from the explosion a stronger than before beam went straight toward Payne that was in midair, it was so fast and concentrated that it would cause GREAT damage if it hit, which was extremely probable because Payne had been performing an attack in midair.

"I take your dare, I will protect Anubis-sama with my life." -Hibiki spoke.

[[Alurbana]]

Anubis nodded as Hibiki attacked, he then heard Clearwaters voice. She was here? This was a bad timing, there were too many strong opponents here, she would get herself hurt or worse. Anubis was really distracted but then turned to see Hibiki fighting Payne. That wasnt a good sign, Hibiki was shot at , the aim was at the heart. Anubis used his sand blade to cut throw the shot and stop it from reaching Hibiki. Anubis then walked in front of Hibiki "You and me are going to team up Hibiki... ill need you to cover me...... MY WARRIORS!!!!" Anubis spoke through his den den mushi "WE ARE GOING TO BREAK THROUGH ALURBANA!!!!!"

[[On the battlefields]]
The anubis pirates gathered to get ready for the push into Alurbana. The pirates ran through the desert to reach Alurbana.Tanith, Alfresco and other pirates were running towards the capital.

Payne watched as his attack was blocked.

"...That I cannot allow...Geppou.."

Payne then used a very strong Geppou to be shot down to the floor. When he hit the sand. A enormous round sphere of fire exploded from Payne's person. The sphere was incredibly large. Payne's shadow was seen from the out side. Payne then diminished the sphere and looked up towards the on coming forces.

"..That is quiet enough...Yonkou Anubis..Even if I have to burn down this entire Desert...I will capture you weather you wish for it or not..I am sorry..but its my job...Blue Flame: Sun......."

Standing as the only force to protect Alurbana. Payne held up his arm into the air and began to form a huge blue fire ball. It grew tremendously very fast. In mer seconds, it looked like Payne was holding the sun it self in his hand. The huge blue sun was amazing. Payne then chucked it down towards the Anubis Pirates. Take no prisoners, Payne was going to incarcerate them all here and now. Especially Anubis.

"...Obliteration..."

As the attack ended, Payne created two large Spears of Fire and held them in each hand. Knowing the attack may not defeat the powerful Anubis so easily. He was prepared to fight all these Pirates on his own if needed. This was Payne at his finest.

Hibiki hadn't noticed that Major Payne had prepared a bullet for him. He wouldn't have had time to blcoked it or dodge it. But Anubis-sama had saved him, the person he admired had saved him. The person he was giving his life for had prevented Payne from taking his life away. Hibiki felt honored.

"Th-th-thanks, Anubis sama." -Hibiki was breathing heavily.- "It will be an honor to team up with you."

Payne was now concentrating on attacking Anubis, and Anubis had told him that they would team up. He saw the Vice Admiral use Geppou and attack Anubis. Hibiki knew that his attacks wouldnt be enough to block the incoming attacks to Anubis.

And then he saw it, Payne had lifted a gigantic Blue orb of fire... it was beautiful to see, but Hibiki knew it was dangerous. Payne said "Obliteration" and threw the orb towards them. Hibiki didnt even tried blocking it with sound, he knew it was too much, but he caught the opportinity to try and attack Payne. Anubis was going to be able to block that... hopefully.

"Oto Oto no Scream!" -Hibiki started to scream and send powerful sound waves that would penetrate a person and hurt incredibly a lot, hurting internal organs. The scream was getting higher and then Hibiki stopped, scared of the Blue Sun.

Nakamaru saw that his skull was fractured so he took his sword and cut a piece of his kimono.''This should help.'' Nakamaru wasnt the best in medicine but he know how to stop bleeding. Every soldier learned that in the navy. The long piece of cloth still had the blue leaves and a part of the tree patern. Nakamaru tied the cloth around Darnels had applieing pressure to the open wound. ''If I had alcohole id disinfect it but I drank all of it heh...'' Said Nakamaru smileing. ''Oh and the ship kinda got smashed... Not sure if you saw that...'' Nakamaru soon frowned.

[[Alurbana desert]]

Anubis saw the blue sun coming down and immediately, held both his palms foward "SAND GUARD!!!!!!" The giant sand semi dome formed from the sand below to block and collide with the sun, causing a mass explosion to occur in mid air. The wind around was blasted pushing people back. Anubis was there standing sturdy "Obliteration? You seem to have underestimated my ability in this sickly form i possess right now.... sick or not... dying or not.... my ambition will not be stopped here... many of you have tried to kill me, impale me, murder me, poison me, but i wont die so easily, not like that, I AM ANUBIS !!!!! KING OF THIS SAND, KING OF THE DESERT, I WILL NOT BE BEATEN BY YOU, NOW TRY AND KILL ME, NAVY!!!!!!!!" Anubis had a sand blade form on his arm, getting ready to fight Payne.

Darnel

Darnel was glad that his wound was treated even though it was a bandage around his head "Thanks soldier I could use....wait what?! The hooded justice.....my baby is gone." Darnel then remember the last ship he lost against Maximillion. The ship was his nakama. A faithful crewmate that stood for the hooded knights. "No matter how much I try...no matter how much I get stronger I can't seem to protect anyone. These pirates don't care about anything. They will kill without remorse." Darnel then remembered the time his mentor, Rear admiral Cardinal, was killed by the redbeard pirates. "They don't hold any restraint when they are fighting, so why should I?!" Something snapped inside of Darnel. Only resolute and rage filled his very being. Darnel turned into hybrid form. He charged toward Tanith's scent "Follow me soldier" Darnel slithered toward the anubis commanders with bloodlust in his mind.

Bolt
Bolt was standing upon the deck with the meteor heroes. He didn't have much to say as far as the situation. His eyes scanned the battle aheand. Scanning 100 percent....200....300....4000 and there was the battle. Bolt scanned her all the participants in the battle particularly the pirates. He recorded all their actions and sent them to the world government so they could know how they fight.

Payne held his giant flame spears in his hands firmly. He walked slowly to the right, circling around Anubis. Payne then stopped moving and spun one of his spears around in his hand rapidly. Payne then waited for his chance to strike. To take the one they call Anubis's life in an instant.

"..."

Todd quickly stops using Tekkai after Zalton's kick, as it did managed to push him back a little, and makes a backflip, using soru and then geppou to go up high. As he does that, he looks towards Alubarna's direction, and notices a vivid, blueish light coming from that direction.
Todd: It has to be that Payne's powers .. tsk, I have to reach there and find that Satoshi before the battles there end ..
Looking back down, he thinks that Zalton's weapon sure is troublesome after all, it was elaborate, and due to his God's Hand wasnt that much of a good option to deal with it. He really wanted to end this fast thought, so he talks to Zalton.
Todd: Impressive abilities, I am surprized you escaped this combo and even managed to land a kick .. you are strong, however, I will now take this to the next level ..
He now looks at Morbius, and while still in the air with geppou, he smirks evily and pulls his axe, holding it with both hands.
Todd: Brother .. you know what I am about to do, dont you .. ? Run, or stay and die .. BOTH OF YOU !!
Apparently he is about to unleash a horribly powerful attack.

Derge flew through the air, injured badly. He was horrified to see that his attack was not only unsuccessful, but also returned. It was a massive amount of energy, that would kill him if it hit. Panicking, the vice admiral tried vigorously to right himself. With Geppou the man was able to accomplish such a small task, however it wasn't easy in his condition. He attempted to lift his arms; the only problem was the damage they took from his own attack. They felt so heavy and it was extremely difficult to lift them. Derge Sr. lacked the resolve to get out of this situation; at the moment.

They say, your life flashes before your eyes before you die. Derge Sr. wasn't sure if that's what was happening, but he began to remember. He remembered events and people. It was like everything around him just stopped so he could reminisce. Derge felt at peace, it was nice to take time a just breath. It had been a long time since he had done something like that. Relaxing wasn't exactly something he was known for; despite his calm demeanor, he really was constantly worrying.

Ever since he was young, he worried that he wouldn't be strong enough to claim the elder's seat in the village. He lost time and time again against his brother and eventually lost the tittle. Leading troops upon his village, he lost everyone and the village; it wasn't what he wanted. He even eventually lost his son; he lost him to the darkness. A darkness that Derge Sr. created by blotching out all of the light around him. Derge Sr. could see the small faces of Iken and Derge when they were children; they smiled so brightly when they played together. Fighting off other children and protecting each other from the darkness he created by leaving the village.

The darkness was overwhelming; the fires burned bright as the forest burned and the marines took down the Steel Villagers. Shooting woman and children in the backs as they tried to escape. Grouping up on the men and killing them without remorse. Derge Sr. wasn't innocent, he was caught up in the moment. He enjoyed killing his old nakama, it was a thrill like none other. However seeing his son doing the same snapped him back into reality. It sickened him to see what he had created. However he couldn't be distracted by that. Iken's father had appeared. He was able to kill many of the marines allowing a few groups to escape for the moment. It even looked like he and his son would turn the battle in the favor of the Steel Village.

Release energy into the volcano, Derge Sr. set off an eruption that wiped out many of the remaining soldiers. But yet again, his brother stopped him. He used the villages sword to absorb the heat from the magma saving the island. Derge Sr. expected as much, a mighty kick sent his brother flying. Soon the battle began, brother versus brother. With the gauntlets Derge Sr. possessed he was equal with his brother. For once he wasn't loosing. At the time Derge Sr. considered it the power of justice. Eventually his brother was worn down. In last ditch effort the man saved his son and one of his swords by throwing them to a nearby island. Before Derge Sr. could finish his brother, his son, Derge had taken his life. What had his absence turn his son into? Derge has just killed the man who raised him as his own; with out hesitation or remorse. From this point on, Derge Sr. looked over his shoulder when Derge was behind him. He regretted leaving the village, it only lead to darkness.

"If I was only younger, I would change everything." said Derge Senior closing his eyes.

Raising both of his arms the man blocked the attack. He slammed his feet into the ground causing skid marks as the attack pushed him back. Slowly but surly the shockwave was taken into the gauntlets. He was safe, he had survived. What's more he felt stronger, he also looked younger; about what he looked like when he was in his prime. All of the scrapes, bruises, and sprains were gone; he was fully healed. Examining his body he knew what had happened.

"I have used life return before, but nothing like this. It seemed I tapped into some new level." Derge said to himself as tree grew all over the desert. "Gael's here too? Looks like Derge wasn't kidding when he called them allies. Looks like I'll have to dive into all six paths" As Derge Sr. used soru to return to the battle field his body changed. It became more dense, his muscles increased, his body was much harder, he became faster and stronger, as well as sharp edges grew on his limbs. Derge Sr. was truly at the strongest he had ever been. How will this turn of events effect the upcoming battle?

"Rankyaku Grande"

A massive blade sliced through the air headed towards Anubis. It was enhanced by the sharp edge formed with life return. It traveled at soru speeds similar to Derge Sr.'s. Stopping about 30 feet in front of Anubis, Derge Sr. watched as his attack produced by a super quick kick traveled at the mighty pirate. He was more than certain the blade wasn't going to do much; it wasn't really intended to either. It was merely a warning shit.

"Anubis, stop this. The people of the country need a king, not some pirate. Nor do they need a pawn of the world government. Your brother is the rightful ruler of this land. I'll be damned if I let you or the world government decide who is best for this country. I swear this to be true."

Hibiki

Hibiki saw Anubis block the gigantic blue sun with a gigantic sand dome. This battle was so awesome, but it was dangerous as well. And now Vice Admiral Derge Sr. had gotten up as well. He was telling Anubis to forget his goals of ruling over Alabasta cause the people needed a real king.

That was a lie, Anubis would be a real king. Anubis would be the perfect king of Alabasta, and he had more power than anyone to protect this country from attacks of other pirates.

Hibiki's Capoeira Party was still in the area, but he hadnt used it to attack since his first move in the fight with Vice Admiral Payne. Hibiki rose both his hands with his Uproar Staff in them. He rose a gigantic mass of sound behind him, he brought his arms down and the sound went over himself and over Anubis and attempted to crash over Payne and Derge Sr. An attack that would explode and cause damage to internal organs and serious damage as real explosions.

"Sound Crashing Wave!" -he exclaimed as he attacked them both.

The Shining Betelgeuse got to land and Lenny looked at all of his crewmates. It was ok if Ramus wanted to fight swordsmen, he wouldnt stop him.

"That's ok Ramus, we have to fight for Alabasta!" -Lenny said this and jumped off the ship, he hoped his crew followed him. -"Come on, all of you that can, run behind me."

From the side of the hull of the ship, a door rose and Roxanna Celeste came out on the Alpha Centauri armored tank. It had a screen to see through and it was big enough to hold 5 persons. Roxanna came out.

"Son, take your crewmates here. I will stay in the ship, guarding it." -she said.

Lenny jumped in, nodding to his mother. "Guys, hurry up and get inside here, except you Bolt, you can move at the same speed as this, if not faster."

The captain's head snapped to the direction she had heard the yonkou's voice, a smile appearing on her face that was splotched with sand and sweat while her wet hair clinged to the back of her head. She was now glad that the religious wench had cut off her hair, making it easier for her to avoid it getting tangled as she fought. She noticed that the voice was loud and clear on her right and as she signaled Barius to follow her she dashed towards that direction while bringing down a couple more soldiers.

"Anubis-sama!" she called again, but her smile completely vanished as she shielded her eyes from the sudden brightness of the flames from a massive attack that was being launched. She was able to take a small peek and gasped when she noticed it was directed towards the yonkou. She then sighed in relief when he had blocked it but knew it wasn't over as the marine started another attack. She was about to rush in and help out but then paused and froze when she noticed someone that the young captain hadn't seen in a while...since the time of her capture.

Derge Sr. had just blocked and absorbed one of his own returned attacks by the time she noticed him, and watched as the changes in his body happened while giving him a hardened glare. She could feel the power coming from him, power that he didn't have the last time they faced and Delia knew she couldn't beat him. The most she could do was distract him long enough for Anubis to make his move. She growled lowly as the young captain heard his words while getting closer, calmly evading any attack sent to her as Barius blocked them off as well.

"Wise words coming from a person like you," she called out while staying her distance, noticing that the boy near Anubis, a comrade, was about to unleash an attack on Derge and the other marine with flames. "I wish....Heh, does it really matter what a pirate like me wishes? It's true that his brother was a better candidate, the rightful heir...but you can't stop a man's obsessive ambition. It's just not possible!" she exclaimed before crying out as Barius covered her with his large frame when Hibiki attacked the two vice admirals.

Payne's eyes then began to burn with a literal blazing red fire. When the flames left, Payne's pupils had turned bright red. Pain had awakened.

"...I haven't been let out in a while..I had begun to think I had been forgotten. Regardless if you think your Captain will make a good King..Taking the Island by force and not through inheritance in a peaceful manner is something the Marines cannot stand by and allow. We don't know how a Pirate will dictate over these innocent people. So with that said..I'll have to take you all down....I'll enjoy literally tearing you all limb from limb and dissecting you..I want to see what makes you tick!? GWAHAHA....Soru..."


Pain watched as Hibiki was once again attacking. He'd clearly block his attacks if he used fire. Since he had altered his persona. Pain used Soru to sprint to the right and pass the attack. Pain was smart enough to know what damage the boys attacks could do. So getting hit was out of the question. On account he was the only healthy fighter on the terrain right now on the side of the Marines. Pain zigzagged across the desert train until he made it about 2 feet away from Hibiki. This was Pain and Payne's special, hand to hand combat. Payne then surrounded both his fist in flames. Extending his fingers out, throwing his arm towards Hibiki's wrist. At the same time Pain formed fire around his right leg. Pain faked out a right jab to Hibiki's throat and then made a quick right hook towards Hibiki's left eye.

[[Morbius at Nanohana]]

Morbius cursed , even if he was drunk, he could clearly remember these sort of attacks. "Shit, time to GO!!" Morbius used soru and geppou to jump out of Nanohana. He swore at himself for letting such a good chance get away. He then remembered, the agents, and the job. Morbius sighed "Hello? Anyone?: Morbius was using soru to get away from Nanohana now, he knew Todd had snapped, and the timing to fight him wasnt now. It had to be later. Morbius ran through to the sandora desert , but noticed something shining. It was Maria, she was frozen. Morbius sobered himself as he picked Marias frozen form up "Hey Maria.. you ok??!!!"

[[Anubis near Alurbana]]

Anubis blocked the fire spear with his own sand blade.Clashing with it and coming to a stand still. He then drew back.Anubis felt a chill out of nowhere. It was a dangerous feeling like something deadly was now about to kill him. The rankyaku came, but Anubis immediately set up a protection against the rankyaku with his sand shield with twice density.Anubis then saw Delia and Hibiki protecting him. Anubis stood steady while both Vice Admirals were facing him. "Delia..... you shouldnt be here..... i dont want you to get hurt......." Anubis wanted to reach out to her, but he withdrew his hand, he shouldnt show weakness here, or they would take advantage. He breathed normally "I will cleanse my home..... my brother...... he is too soft, he knows nothing of ruling the country from day to day....... however, if he is to rule, there is something i must do, and i will do it, regardless of what you or i may say.... i will complete my goal here today in this place!!!! Anubis then hit a sables straight at Derge Sr combining with Hibikis attack. IN the mean time he kept his other hand equipped with his sand blade to remain wary of Payne. Payne had reached Hibiki and that was not good. Anubis used his other arm to send a sand blade to cut off Pains acess to Hibiki."HIBIKI, WE ATTACK TOGETHER WITH DELIA!!!"

[[Tanith near Alurbana near Rear ADmiral Darnel]]
Tanith saw Darnel coming as she swung her hammer sending marines and soldiers flying back. Tanith twirled her hammer "ITS REAR ADMIRAL DARNEL!!!! HOLD THE LINE , HE CANT REACH ANUBIS SAMA!!!!"

Hibiki saw his attack fail Payne, who evaded it by using Soru to the side and avoiding it. He was now coming for him, he was going to go into close combat. Something Hibiki didn't really like even if it made his attacks stronger was close combat, specially with someone as Payne.

Hibiki was going to dodge the attacks but Anubis was there in time to block them, Hibiki used a Song Climb to be shot backwards but before that he had concentrated sound on his Staff and his produced the explosion to push himself away from Payne, he shot a Music Lance at close range, moving at the speed of sound that would go straight through Payne' stomach.

Hibiki was safe for now, away from Payne. He heard Anubis say that they would team up with Delia Clearwater as well, that was great news. "Gotcha Anubis-sama!"

(Chusei Behind Payne)
A Shadow loomed from behind Payne. Chusei had been lurking in the shadow's with Shadow Soru and snuck up behind Payne without any sound what so ever while he was distracted by the others.

"Assassin Art:Demon Curse!" Slashing at paynes back With Three Katana's useing a Poison slash, Water slash and lighting Slashes at superhumans speed's Chuisei activated his Jet dial's slashing even faster.

Attempting to carve a Star shape cut Paynes back while his swords attempting to Soak him with water, Shock him with Lighting and Slowly damage him from within with poison. Then attempting to cut off Paynes Limb's then attempt to slice his head in half and stab his heart.

(Ashley & Sharpfang!)
Ashley Understood that Mashidi needed to fight this man allone as he accepted his challenge. However Ashley was not about to sit idolly by why these damn pirates where recking havoc all over the place. As Sharpfang reverteded back into snake form. He wrapped him self around Ashley and used his bodyy blades to slice up the limbs around Ashley leaving her unharmed.

"Sharpfang! Tricky Snake!"Sharpfang uses His Spiral hollow on his body then he goes underground useing the spiral hollow to shred anything that comes into contact with him. While Sharpfang drill under ground. Ashley speeds through the trees towards Anubis Drawing her rifle.

Ashley's purple eyes grew cold and distant."Anubis its time to end this!"

gnopped observed the situation and decided to follow his captain into the tank though he prefered to not use modern technology to fight but his captain commanded him to do so, as his captain jumped of the ship he followed, he could keep up with his captain easily and landed in the tank, thinking to himself that he would be able to keep up with the thing when running maybe even without using his hyena form. gnopped was a trained assasin, he could be quick silent and deathly,

Nakamaru was quite supprised that Darnel was allready on his feet or should he say... Tail. ''Yes sir!'' Nakamaru followed Darnel and was ready to die alongside him. He felt Darnel snap and that they share the same dislike for pirate scum. ''Lets make this battle a nightmare for those pirates...'' Nakamaru smiled and let out almost a evil laugh.

Derge Sr. threw his right arm forward with an open palm. The result was a powerful shockwave in the shape of his hand. Well at first it took that form, however it became more of a blob as it progressed further. Despite it's sloppy looking appearance, it was powerful. Powerful enough to cancel out Habiki's sound blast. However before he could move to another battle he was attacked by a twister of sand, from none other than Anubis. Spinning around Derge Sr. kicked outwards creating a spiral rankyaku. The twister created by Derge had a slight edge of Anubis' as it had sharp edges that could cut through the sand.

Then it happened, Derge Sr. seen a weakness in Anubis. One that had not been overlooked. Derge Sr. knew what he had to do, to get Anubis to lower his guard. "Soru" With great speed, Derge Sr. charged at Anubis, it seemed like he was going to attack. He was close, and if anyone was going to save Anubis they would of had to acted quickly. However in an instant he took a B-line in another direction. With his speed so great he disappeared as the sand behind him flew upwards from the forces he created. It seemed as if he was aiming his attack at Chusei from the path the sand was taking. But alas this was just another feint. Derge Sr. appeared behind Barius.

"Rokuougan"

From close range the vice admiral launched a devastating attack. In his enhanced form the shockwave attack would be more than enough to flatten both the first mate and captain. The surrounding area would also be put under great amounts of pressure from the heavy power of the attack.

(OOC: *dies* so much...writing...)

"I appreciate the concern Anubis-sama, but I am not a rookie," she answered back in a chilled tone as she took out her sword once more, the ice blade practically crackling with excitement for the upcoming battle. She had no time to argue though though, and Delia watched as Hibiki attacked Pain as she got her own attack ready. Though, her attack was never intended to hit Pain nor any other marine that was there trying to fight Anubis and take him down...except for one...

She had never taken her eyes off Derge, even when focusing her attention at the others she kept a close eye at the vice admiral, her only target throughout this event when she first laid eyes on the powerful marine. The captain was no fool, the end result of his attack will greatly damage Barius and herself but she was ready, they were both ready. If she hadn't kept an eye out on him she would've never noticed the attack that was coming towards them when he did the feint to confuse his enemies. It was in those seconds that she only had little time to react and evade the full blunt of the attack, but still take damage.

"Derge!" she exclaimed in fury while unleashing a large gust of cold wind that its sole purpose was to slow down the shockwave enough for it to not cause that much damage. By this time Barius had moved out of the way since he had been standing behind his captain, but it didn't help much since he too had taken some damage. the only thing that mattered was that the gourd was safe from harm, with only a chip in the side and a shallow crack. By protecting it with his body as a shield Barius had taken a rough beating to his back, blood soaking the jacket he had on and barely able to stand as the injuries took toll on his body.

He wasn't worried about him though and his eyes quickly widened when he had spotted his captain after looking up. "Delia!" he cried out, gritting his teeth as he tried to go over to her but quickly stumbling onto one knee before coughing up blood. He saw her there, just standing with her back facing both him and Derge. It was bloody, bloodier than his own as the crimson liquid trickled down her arms, legs and neck while holding her sword to the side with an iron grip. She had taken damage, damage that if inflicted on anybody else would've killed them in an instant...but she was prepared.

"I....I am not dying this time," she said while spitting out the blood that had accumulated in her mouth. She knew the marine was behind her and with that in mind she attacked, bringing her sword up and twirling around so she could slash across his abdomen if he was close enough, or launch a high speed blade of ice if he wasn't. All her power was placed in that one slash, and if it didn't work she will just use the water in the gourd to replenish enough power for another attack. She was not going down, not until Anubis-sama has completed his goal. Afterwards, then maybe she would let Death to come for her...but not without a fight.
