Serious: Admiral Nishki D Rock meets The Hooded Knights ((CLOSED)

The breeze flew through the balcony on top of this particular building of Marineford. At the edge of the balcony sat Nishki looking down upon the town area. He enjoyed watching the town, the people looked so happy and full of life and happiness. At least it seemed for the moment. His coat flowed freely as he looked to the other side seeing all the marine recruits and ensigns training and doing their morning drills. Nishki grabbed his chocolate bar from his pocket and munched on it slowly.

The wooden swords smashed into each other. The two marines recoiled, grunting. Owen smirked.
"Letting me in for that side blow cost you, Orin."
The other young man gave an impish grin.
"I've literally beaten you with a hand tied behind my back, so don't talk!"
They jumped back at each other and swung their training blades.

They sparred in the middle of the training courtyard, near other sparring marines. Recruits and ensigns alike were being drilled on the far northern corner. Others were running laps. Ballistic training could be heard even from where Owen stood. The noises from the town outside the courtyard had long faded away. This was another world, where men screamed in agony to do the extra push up. Where exhausted men were dragged around the courtyard if they could not run. This was not torture. No. This was marine life. To become a fearsome admiral a ready supply of chocolate, you have to start out in this courtyard. Slogging away until a you can respect, obey and command.
In that exact order.
Owen's thoughts came back to the fight as the sparring sword knocked him flat with a kidney blow. If he hadn't given a girlish scream that commanded the attention of a few surrounding marines, it would not have been that embarrassing, but he saved himself by kicking at Orin's ankle. This caused his sparring partner to lose his footing. Owen's sword came up to catch Orin in the stomach that, if it had been a real sword, would have had him impaled on it. Orin fell onto the ground next to Owen, groaning in pain.
"I got you good there, didn't I?" laughed Owen between heavy breaths.
Orin tried to stifle a laugh himself, as it hurt his ribs.
"Yeah," he finally replied after a lot of grunting," Guess you finally got one win for my 27, eh?"
They both laughed softly.
"Another round?" grunted Orin.
"Why did you even ask?"
They both climbed to their feet and paused, then swung their sparring blades for another round.

Nishki was watching the sparring from above, eating his chocolate. It was a thoroughly fulfilling experience when there was no work. Well ever since he became Admiral he had been grounded at Marineford and keeping watch as usual. He didnt want to move too much and prefered to look at trainees spar, it was a reminder about how life was so hard as a rookie. He grinned as he jumped down. He turned into a glorious blaze of blue fire , sweeping down above the training yard. He sat on a nearby stone statue. He turned back into human, his admiral coat flowing, as he watched the sparring "Please, continue...."

Ashley Hisanyaiba had just finished a long transfer assignment. After being reassigned back to the Hooded Knights She Eagerly Awaited her Captain Darnel with her trusty pet snake Sharpfang.

Unable to contain her longing to be back with her crew she used soru and started to turn Marinford upside down looking for Darnel.

"Darnel Sama are you over here!?" Ashley looked under a table tipping it over.

Sharpfang sissed a sigh in annoyance of her behavior.
"Darnel sweety where did you go!?" Ashley searched high and low for her Captain.

Tears starting to form in her purple eyes as she started to slowly aimlessly walking around. Her blond hair flowed in the breeze. Most of the marines found her quite attractive She was wearing A tight leather onsamble with A marine shirt unbuttoned for style.

Owen an Orin barely noticed the admiral before he spoke. And both jumped when he did so.
They immediately turned and saluted shouting out, "G'day sir!"
But followed orders and returned to fighting under the admiral's scrutiny.
Owen had heard of Admirals looking for potential on the training grounds before but thought it was just blabber spread by the officers to get the recruits to work better.
Now he saw for his own eyes, an Admiral seemingly appearing from nowhere to watch them spar.
Now it wasn't a game, it was business.
Owen swung in at Orin's leg. Orin batted the strike away easily and twirled to send his sword into Owen's stomach. He fell to the floor but got up after a bit of coughing. Owen tried again and only scored a glancing hit off his opponent's head, to which his opponent disregarded and continued to brutally beat Owen.
Several more attempts were made that turned into losses before the officer in charge walked over after seeing the admiral.
"G'day admiral," he saluted and charged on, not letting the admiral speak.
"These barnacles are the bottom of the heap, sir. The marines with better performance are being drilled in the northern corner. You may want to pay more attention to them. One or two might interest you."

Light was walking around Marineford for what was his first time, he had been with the WG before in Dark rooms where he was trained, but never before did he see Marineford as such a spectacular sight.. nor did he imagine it. Walking down the streets Light could could only gaze blankly at some of the cheery people, and the stands and cafes hidden around every corner of the cheerful street. This was his time to shine, he had a horrible time in the battle with the sun pirates, and had Admiral Nishki finish the battle he was having a hard time fighting.

During his long walk he noticed something.. weird. Some women moved past him looking for someone named 'Darnel'.. the name sounded oddly familiar. Light ended up trying to ignore her, trying to ignore the image of a ladies shirt unbuttoned, as well as tight leather onsable.. it was a good thing he was made from the WG, or she might've distracted him from his primary mission.. the retrieval of Flan from a nearby Bakery, if he knew marineford had a bakery for Flan he would've already moved here years ago.. but where was the bakery?

"*sigh*... I might have to ask for directions..."

The smoking gun slowly made its way toward Marineford. Its dove underwater underneath the gates of justice, and raised back from the water surface into the docks of marineford. Darnel opened the hatch of the submarine walking upon the deck. This vessel was in need of repair from the fight with Maximillon. Darnel was expecting to meet Nishiki, the great marine himself "The Hero". Darnel hoped that Quintus wouldn't be too upset that they left him behind. Ohh well Quintus was a trooper he could handle himself. Darnel looked at the Marine Headquarters building gawking at its enormous size. It gave him a sense they are all apart of something bigger than themselves. There were all apart of justice. Darnel awaited for his crew to come out from the submarine.

Mail was the first out though it seemed halfheartedly. "Why are we here again Darnel-Senpai?" Mail asked in a much more quiet tone then normal.

Exhausted form the battle, Carlos allowed his body to go limp as he rested on the helm seat. His limbs were sour from the tension and the stress of the battle, and he was exhausted after sailing for an eternity without rest. He made it out alive! He survived and will now be remembered in the pages of history! But with the relief came a great depression, for Carlos lost a crew member in this battle, the most precious member of all: The Hooded Justice. Carlos didn't leave his seat when the Smoking Gun docked, and allowed himself to close his eyes for a moment and digest what happened. The Hooded Justice was precious, and in a way, he was the one who sent it to it's demise.

He got up and climbed up and out of the submarine, meeting Darnel and Mail on board. The expression on his face wasn't of a soldier who got back home from the front, but of a man who lost a friend. "Captain Darnel..." Carlos said, quickly standing up straight but still lowering his gaze. "If it's alright, I'll need some time before I join you at the meeting, I have something to attend to" Carlos said. He wanted to give the Hooded Justice it's final respect.

Victor stepped out of the submarine fourth. His right shoulder was bandaged up quite a bit. He dislocated it while fighting and forced it back in while on their way to the base. With his left arm holding his right shoulder, Victor joined his fellow marines on the sub's deck and, after taking a quick peek at Darnel, followed his eyes to the giant Marine Headquarter building.

It seemed like they had only left this place a few days ago for their mission in Amazon Lily. However this time the headquarters looked bigger than ever in his eyes.

Darnel looked at his crew and saw how exchaused and tired they were. They needed a little rest and relaxation. He looked at Mail with a slight sigh. Then he knocked him on his head in his usual comic way screaming "Why do you speak up? If you are going to be a proper marine then you have to speak. I'm here to meet up with admiral Nishiki. You guys can take a few days to rest." Darnel then turned to Carlos who he knew was taking the lost of their nakama hard, the hooded Justice "You take as much time as you need soldier, but remember that the lost of life comes at the price of upholding justice. She died fighting a good fight. My only regret is that she had to go soon." Darnel had to wipe a tear from his eye remembering the good times he had on that ship. He quickly regained composure refusing to let his crew see him in a weak state.

Victor had arrived upon the deck of the ship "I need you to come with me. We must talk on the way to the admiral." Darnel began climbing down the down the stairs of the submarine toward the docks. He hoped Victor was following him because Darnel had some good news for him. Victor was going to be promoted to Lieutenant Commander, but Darnel really needed to get to know him first.

"Yes, of course." Victor followed Darnel off the ship. Naturally, Victor would not know the reason why he was following his captain. Looking at Darnel's back, Victor was reminded of a similar situation several years in the past. It was the year when he participated in a competition for rookie marines held at this very base. Victor placed fourth in the tournament without using his devil fruit powers. It was just him and his bare hands. About a week after the tournament, he walked down those very docks behind Vice-admiral Frost. It was on that day that he was to be taken under the vice-admiral's wing as an apprentice; training him in the basics of being a marine and being his first teacher of two of the six Rokushiki techniques. Victor owed his life to Vice-admiral Frost. However, his idol lost his life in the line of battle just months after he let Victor go to join a unit that fit his liking.

Victor started out walking behind Darnel but remembering that he had something to say, Victor pulled up alongside him.

"Darnel, is there something important you need to speak with me about?"

During Ashley's serach of marine fold she came across the docks. Her eyes lite with excitement seeing Darnel. Useing Soru she charged Darnel attempting to Give him a big hug. Interrupting Victor's conversation.

"Darnel Senpai!!!"

Ashley was excited beyond measures to see her captain again. Sharpfang hissed a Welcome to Darnell and Victor.

"Hey Darnel sweety long time no see =)"

Mail sighed "I'm going back into the submarine...Send if you need me." he said leaping back into the sub to tinker with his new body mods. Lifting a small hatch on his arm he placed a flame dial in for safe keeping in his hand he placed an axe dial. In his feet were two impact dials and in his other hand was a lightning dial.

Light walked past the crowds of people to look for his goal, yet Flan could not be found anywhere. The store he had heard that had the delicacy was nowhere to be found and worse nobody had heard of it. He had asked around 15 people for a name, and none of them had it.. Light was beginning to lose hope in the task at hand and believed he would go through the day without the taste of Flan and its caramel.

He tried to look near water, sicne it was obviously not in the middle of the giant city. While walking in the sidelines he managed to see some other marines, ones that stood out from the others for some reason.. but they not of Lights concern, not till a women screamed 'Darnel' and attempted to.. tackle him. Light stopped his tracks, while at the same time losing his hunger for Flan, and looked at the odd picture thumb under chin.. that was the same women that was going ballistic through town, and this was apparently the man she was doing it for. The man looked familiar, but he tried to ignore the feeling.

Then without warning an idea popped into his head, if these marines were walking around town maybe they could show him 'without knowing' the way to a Flan shop, if they were causing such an uproar on their own they are sure to know where to find a shop with the delicacy known as 'Flan' in it. It was full proof.. at least in his head it was, he was starting to get desperate.

"Guess this is my alternative then, they'll definitely show me the way.."

"Yes sir" Carlos answered before turning around and heading for stroll into Marineford. He was looking for a specific place, the cemetery.

Marineford had a cemetery for deceased marine heroes, where memorials and graves were stationed. It took him a while to find it, but he eventually did. Just being in that place meant a lot to Carlos. He went from a simple boy in the West Blue, who dreamed about helping his father retire, and was now standing in one of the marines' most treasured locations. He entered the silent cemetery, who was decorated with gentle plant life between each honorable memorial. Sooner, he figured he should salute each memorial out of respect, but the amount of memorials didn't allow it. There were captains and vice admirals, and even ensigns who died for the sake of justice, and each of them deserved honor. "Dear god in heaven, please bless each and every one of these brave souls with delight as big as their sacrifice in your garden" Carlos said, before saluting to the entire cemetery. Carlos hoped that when he finally died, he'd be lucky enough to be buried along those heroes. But enough dreaming, he came to the cemetery for a specific reason.

Tilting his head to escape the day dreams, Carlos started scanning the cemetery, looking for something, a stone.

Darnel turned to ask Victor the question when an old friend came and gave him an unexpected hug. It was Ashley, the kuja warrior who joined with the marines. They could have used her when they went toward Amazon Lily. All those lovely women warriors all in thongs and dirty clothing. Darnel nearly turned red getting hot in the collar from preverted thoughts. "Hey miss Ashley indeed it has been a long time. I see sharpfang is with you. Will you be joining my crew again or this some casual visit?" Darnel almost forgot his manners "Victor this is ashley, an old friend and nakama. Ashley meet our new recruit, newly promoted Lieutenant Commander Victor. Congradulations marine."

Victor blinked twice while looking right at Darnel. In a moment, the cogs inside of his brain realigned and he could think clearly again. He processed the words in his head once and was absolutely sure that he heard him correctly.

With his back straight, head high, and right hand brought to his head, Victor saluted his Commanding Officer.

"Sir, I accept this promotion with the utmost gratitude."

Victor did this purely out of respect. He was quietly awaiting a signal from Darnel to lower his arm. What Victor had done, without thinking, was raise his injured shoulder.

Ashley smiled at Darnel " yes ive been reassigned back to you Captain Darnel =)" Ashley planted a kiss on Darnels cheek.

Ashley turned her attendtion to Victor. "Hello Lieutenant its a pleasure to meet you. Hehhehehehe They keep on promoting such handsome marines"
Ashley blew Victor a kiss.

Sharpfang hissed angrily at Victor bareing his rapidly twisting metal fangs.

With the pleasantry's outta the way. Ashley Hisanyaiba stood a few steps behind her favorite men. "Dont let little old me keep you from you busy schedule's" Ashley winked at Darnel awaiting to follow them.

Nishki was watching and then heard the marine tell him about this group.He then chuckled "I was once in this group you know..... but i was promoted within several weeks..... my personal entourage is quite low at the moment considering my squads current break. Ill need some members, tell me , who are the two sparring right now?"

Mail climbed out of the sub after grabbing a small vial. Planning to ask Darnel for some of his venom. Walking up to him and tapping Darnel lightly on the shoulder. "Sir I would like to request for some of your venom so I could make more of my madness poison." Mail said in a serious tone loud enough for most to hear.

After looking through various paths and roads, and after examining several stones, Carlos found what he was looking for. He picked up a slightly heavy stone with both of his hands, giving it a closer look. It had one flat side and was light enough for him to carry, yet large enough to serve it's future purpose, perfect. Afterwards, Carlos turned to the cemetery's gates and left, hoping he won't have to come back here until his time comes.

While strolling to the west side of Marineford, Carlos tried to think of what would be the consequences of what he was about to do. Would the marines care? Would anyone even notice? He sure will, and he'll pay it a visit every time he'll set a foot on Marineford, and that was enough for him.

It took about half an hour of slow walk to get to the west docks of Marineford, and a few more minuted until Carlos found a distant spot along one of the small beach lines that was still visible next to the highly industrial marine island. He rested the stone down and took out one of his hook blades, He flipped it over, in order to use the spearhead that was attached to the underside of the handle, and started stabbing the stone repeatedly, writing something down.

The officer looked taken aback but tried to hide his annoyance, failing to do so he gained a mix between a scowl and laugh on his face.
He looked like a miniature medusa on drugs, after an ugly bar fight.
"I..Er.. Understand, sir but..."
Then he realised he was about to talk back to an admiral. Not a great idea if he wanted to get promoted out of this dump.
"I mean, sir, this is Seaman Recruit Orin Urugi," he stuttered, pointing to Orin.
"And here we have Seaman Recruit Owen Brody," he said the last name with hiss and an evil sidelong glance at the currently smiling Owen.
The two recruits saluted after they were introduced to the admiral. Both bore determined faces decorated with broad grins.
They breathed heavily from their recently finished sparring, but stood there all the same. Waiting for what the admiral had to say.

Darnel raised his left arm saluting Victor back "You deserve it soldier. Now I need you by my side for support.....because I'm nervous as hell meeting Nishiki. Wait where is Carlos?" Darnel activated his scent point. He sticked out his snake tongue taking in a the heat signitures around marineford. Once he found Carlos, Darnel decided to pick him up too. He wanted to show Nishiki all his crewmates. Just then Ashley kissed Darnel on the cheek. The kiss almost caused him to fall over "Looks like some things never change."

Mail soon arrived asking for some venom. Looks like the boy was learning. Darnel figured Mail was going to apply it to his weapons for pirates. The trick was devious but then again so were pirates. Darnel felt like giving Mail a hug as sort of congradulations for his great idea, but consented to his request instead. He grabbed the vile spitting out some of his venom from his fangs in his mouth. Then returned it to Mail "I need you to come with me too. We need to get Carlos so we all can meet the admiral. If you are fortunate one day you WILL become admiral yourself some day. Darnel walked to where Carlos's scent was. He found Carlos at the docks putting some kind of stone on the west dock. "Am I to assume that this is for the hooded justice?"

Mail nodded swirling the vial around to make sure it stayed potent. "Darnel-Senpai I'll need to swing by some stores soon. It takes 9 months to perfect my madness poison as each and every ingredient takes a month to make sure it's potent enough." Mail said. "Also...Will we...Ever go back to the Kuja Island?" He said looking down at his feet.
