Species: Human
Occupation: Captain- Rolling Thunder Pirates

Appearance: Rico has an intimidating physique and massive arms (21 inches). The massive wrestler stands at a height of six feet and nine inches. This muscular titan of a man has a thick tan and lacks blemishes. From his right shoulder to the lowest of his left ribs spans a massive scar. His eyes are light blue, and his hair color is unknown as he has worn his mask for so long.
His mask is not too complex, with semi-triangular eye slits and a mouth hole that shows his clean-shaven chin. The eye-slits have golden trim surrounding them and the rest of the mask is two colors; the left-side is a dark navy blue and the right is a shining silver. He wears a silver suit jacket open-style, revealing his manly chest. Around his waist is a fancy belt with a black strap and a gloriously large golden buckle. His pants are navy blue spandex wrestling pants designed for maneuverability. Rico has a pair of black wrestling boots on his feet.
History: Rico didn't do much as a young child, so, at the age of six, his father sent him to join a wrestling gym. Rico was naturally athletic and took to the sport eagerly. There was nothing more amusing to him than a rumble in the ring. After a year of training, he was given a wrestler's mask. Not many people know what they are going to do for a living at age seven, but Rico was one of them. His tenure at the gym lasted only two years, as he caught the eye of a particularly powerful organization.
The Cipher Pol abducted him for a simple purpose; he was inducted into the agent development program. The program was grueling and shaped Rico into a powerful soldier physically, but even ten years of indoctrination did not prepare Rico for the life of a government-sponsored assassin. Regardless of how ruthless he was, after the years of training he was considered a full-blown agent. His first mission was to search for information on a suspected revolutionary and kill him if the information was conclusive.
Rico accepted the job with gusto, but soon realized his quest would be far more complicated than he thought. His target was not an average man, but a nobleman armed to the teeth with money and guards.
The first step of Rico's plan was to break into the mark's manor and take out all his guards. Jumping through a window, Rico tripped an alarm and called the guards to the lobby. The Luchador leaped into action, smashing his knee into one guard's face and tackling another. The wild scramble continue as Rico let loose a flurry of elbows and knees, defeating all of his opponents. To the watchmen the battle seemed to last forever, but Rico knew it only lasted for a minute at most. One figure escaped the manor, and he knew who it was. With the first part of Rico's mission failed, he had to find evidence or return a complete failure. He tore apart the house, room by room, searching for any clues. After busting through a locked down leading to the basement he found a locked chest. One powerful kick later the lock was snapped off and Rico had found what he was searching for. Briefly, he looked through the suspicious looking documents before taking the chest back to the headquarters.
The Cipher Pol Director was damn flustered when he learned Rico returned only with the evidence, and not the dead mark. Rico was humiliated by his commander in front of all his compatriots. After the lecture was over, he ran off to the gym.
The gym was a place of meditation for Rico. He could train or fight or relax while thinking about the problems of his world. As he pounded on a body bag he pondered the gravity of his failure. He was angry, but each punch cheered him up just a little. The sound of his rage was vociferous; the large crashes reverberated throughout the gym and alerted everyone nearby. One of Rico's fellow agents could hear the thrashing.
Rico gladly accepted the challenge his 'friend' offered. Before the match, both promised not to hold back and Rico kept his words. His rival thought he could beat Rico because he had learned two more forms than his opponent, but Rico had an unforeseen advantage. The Luchador's tekkai kempo kept him safe from his foe's attacks while he consistently scored blows. Once he had been hit by a powerful choke-slam, Rico's rival was willing to relent. Taking the victory, Rico relaxed himself and let his guard down. Then it happened.
Rico felt a harsh, stinging sensation in his chest. As he looked down he saw a huge gash extend from one side of his torso to the other; he had been hit by his foe's rankyaku. Blood rushed out of him as he panicked. The attack happened so fast, Rico couldn't tell if it was an accident or his partner had willingly assaulted him so viciously. With all the blood loss, Rico soon fell unconscious.
When he woke up, the Luchador's chest had been bandaged and he had a letter from the Cipher Pol Director, reading, "You have been given a month's leave for recuperation." Rico spent the time off training his wrestling skills. After weeks of thinking on it, he realized his injury couldn't have been an accident. There was only one way to settle this feud, a serious re-match. He met up with his assailant and issued a challenge of utmost importance. Their next match was not just a sparring match, instead, Rico wagered his mask against his opponent's hair. The challenge was accepted.
The fight was short. Rico won.
After a medical assessment, a doctor determined Rico was once more ready for field work. For his next assignment, Rico had to work with a certain bald Cipher Pol agent.
On the new quest, Rico tried to capture a revolutionary-alligned courier, but something went wrong. A bomb went off. A fucking bomb went off. His partner had betrayed him out of spite, and the courier died. The boss was not happy once more.
The Director of Cipher Pol requested to see Rico in private to discuss the consequences of his second failure.
"I warned you to get your shit together!" The Director yelled, "Then what happened? You didn't! That's what happened. You let me down once again. If words can't get through to you, I know what can. Give me the goddamn mask."
Rico refused.
"No? You don't get to say no! I'm going to ask you one more time to give me your mask, and if you don't-"
"No." Rico refused him a second time.
"If you won't give it to me, I'll fucking take it!" The Director shouted, and lunged at him. Before his hand could reach Rico's face, the Luchador responded. Rico's huge right hand squeezed down on the boss's knuckle, slowly crushing it.
Shortly after, Rico resigned from the Cipher Pol with a hatred for the World Government in his heart.
Personality: Normally, Rico is an amicable man with a huge presence and a joyful heart. When he finds something funny, his hardy laugh fills the room. He puts no desire into material wealth and is the embodiment of generosity. He is not a picky man regarding food or shelter, but tends to eat well and sleep for long hours. Rico is a friendly enough fellow to be kind to his enemies, except for a select few. When this jolly soul is in a fair mood he treats everything lightly, including combat. While kind-hearted, Rico is rather simple-minded. There are few things that can set off Rico, but (metaphorically speaking) when it rains, it pours. Rico hates only one entity, the World Government. The presence of the Navy is enough to put him in a somber mood as he views them as the World Government's lap dogs. Rico also becomes sick with anger when someone threatens innocent people, his friends and his mask or threatens to do so. Over everything else in the world, Rico values his mask and his honor. If his honor is threatened, he will challenge his enemy. Rico is strongly against murder, but if someone were to touch his mask, they may find themselves dead rather quickly. His speech is peppered with the words "amigo" and "brother".

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
Soru
Shigan (and the variant jugon)
Geppou
Tekkai (capable of using tekkai kenpo)
Thunder Tiger- Rico charges the opponent with soru before jumping. depending on the height of his foe, he either extends his knee towards their skull or his arm to their throat, and uses tekkai to harden his body.
Double Storm- Rico stands behind his opponent and grabs them around their waist. Bending his back to the ground and preparing for a bridge, Rico suplexes the opponent into the ground without tossing them. After the opponent's skull makes contact with the ground Rico kicks off the ground, vaulting over his victim and forcing them into a second suplex.
Lightning Drop- Rico uses geppou to bounce himself high into the sky before activating tekkai kempo. During his rapid descent, Rico prepares for a vicious elbow drop. An opponent hit by the sheer force of this attack is sure to be at least stunned by the power. After falling on the enemy, Rico may pin them with a harsh vice grip.
Bolt Tackle- Rico uses soru to dash away from his opponent a far distance before turning around. Next, he closes the gap with more use of soru before diving onto his opponent. As he collides with his target, one of his hands grabs the foe and the other punches them in the face.
Hurrican Toss- Rico grabs his opponent by their calves, and lifts them off the ground. He then starts spinning with them in tow, building up momentum before tossing them far away.
Magnificent Thunder- Rico's signature move starts with him grabbing his foe by their calves. With a quick jerk, Rico yanks his opponent upside down before jumping high up. Next, the luchador wraps his legs around the opponent's stomach, preparing for an intense piledriver. To increase the pain of his opponent's crash and lessen the damage of his collision with the ground, Rico uses tekkai once he has grabbed his foe with his legs.
(Life Return) Slim Down- Rico uses life return to make his body thinner, shrinking to five feet eight inches and a smaller frame. In this form he doesn't possess as much punch, but he can move fifty percent faster than before. This transformation takes a turn to use, but can be undone without wasting time.
