Appearance: 6 feet 7 inches tall, 450 pounds and has the strength of a bull, despite his old age, seems to be in top physical condition from working on his ships by himself. Grey hair, dark piercing eyes and a small groomed grey beard, he wears a red shirt when he works on his ships and basically wears it all the time. he black pants that hide his stains, though his shirt does a poor job at that. He also wears blue sash around his waist (the colors of his clothes represent the colors of bruises and injuries: Black, blue, and red). He appears to be slightly buff in his old age. He also carries numerous weapons on him, but only for intimidation (Unless you make him angry)
History: When Alton was young he was a bit of a problem child, his attitude towards people was sometimes always rude and/or obnoxious, but when he was in his teens he worked as a shipwright apprentice with his father Ignatius Oswald Britters, the owner of the shipyard which Alton would take over and the blue sash which Alton would be given, he had changed his behavior. He showed promise of being a great shipwright by his father, and was proud for him to be called his son. he even gave his blue sash, which was in the family for generations to signify the ocean and man's dream to conquer it, when Alton was 20 years old, meaning that Alton would be the new boss of the shipyard. Soon after Ignatius gave his sash to his son Alton, his father was killed in the crossfire between a marine squadron and a pirate crew in his father's shipyard, which caused Alton's behavior to spike back into his old habits, he forcefully kicked the marines and pirates out of his shipyard, fired his workers and gained the nickname "Bitter Britters". No pirate or Marine returned to Alton's shipyard for 45 years. But less than 20 years after the incident which ended his father's life, Alton reopened the shipyard with a few of his old workers and some new ones to replace the others. Soon enough that was when Twain Gargan entered Alton's life, eager to become a shipwright, yet afraid of most things, which puzzled and angered Alton, years went by and Twain became a strong young man who would possibly take over the shipyard. That of course reminded him of his teenage years. It is unknown if Twain will receive the Ocean Sash, as Alton received from his father .
Personality: Bitter to people, and even his workers and Twain. He is loud, obnoxious and has the attitude of a mule, stubbornness and all. He has a slight hatred for pirates and marines for their criticism towards his ships. He has a habit of falling asleep due to his old age and has keeps his sash on him at all times because of his past. Though he is often bitter he does have a caring heart which he rarely shows. He secretly cares for Twain as his son. Though Atlon's knowledge that Twain is a Half-Giant or not remains to be seen.
