Flame Fist PiratesHome Village/Ocean: Logue Town
Appearance: Miles is a short man (standing at five foot and three inches) with an average build. His body is in proper shape, but not well-toned. Miles is thin and pale, with a clean complexion and no body hair. He cannot grow facial hair, however, if what he said were true, he shaves every morning. He has a smug grin when happy and a quivering lip when nervous. When he is not in the heat of an intense moment he is always squinting, obscuring his hazel eyes. His dark black hair is kept short and nested under a white fedora with a black band. Over a black dress shirt, Miles wears a white business suit; draped around his neck and tied in a windsor knot is Miles's snow white tie. For cuff-links, Miles has two gold coins on his sleeves. He dons a pair of white slacks and some fine-polished black dress shoes.
History: Miles was one of the privileged few born in Loguetown; unlike most, he had protection from robberies and muggings, as well as nice roof over his head and anything he could ever ask for. His father was the leader of a powerful gang that had made quite a name in the East Blue as an untouchable organization. Still, Lazarus Senior was always worried he would somehow be disposed of, so when his son reached the age of fifteen, he put the boy through training. Miles hated almost all of the training; other than the shooting range, every aspect of becoming the next kingpin was boring. He had lacked the persistence and ruthlessness his father wanted from him, and was always slow to act. After a year of training and what seemed to be no improvements, Lazarus Senior was ready to abandonment his plans for his son.
The day Lazarus Senior was going to tell his son training was off, however, something changed the old don's mind. He found his son at Lazarus Mansion's shooting range, where he was practicing his aim. Each of Miles's shots was amazing; bullets hit the dummies in between the eyes and in the heart. Lazarus Senior swelled with pride when he saw how well his son was doing with the cheap pistol he gave him. After riddling the targets with bullets, Miles noticed his dad and asked, "Father, why are you here?"
Lazarus Senior could no longer look at his son as a failure, and quickly made up a lie, "I saw how good you were shooting and noticed that little gun of yours is no good. You've got chops, son. I came here to give you this." Lazarus Senior reached to his hip and removed his own revolver from it, handing his special piece to his son. "Now, son, with a gun like that you can't just be shooting targets. I'l have to find you a mark, but with the Lazarus brand revolver, you'll be wracking up quite the count. You see, this gun has seven shots instead of six. It's the family trick."
After the conversation, the Kingpin extraordinaire began searching for anyone who had stepped out of line. Even though he was impressed with his son's progress, he still was careful to give him a small mission. After being informed of a petty thief who had stolen from the operation, Lazarus found the job for his son.
Miles's assignment was a simple one; kill the thief who dared to rob the Lazarus family. The young gangster was over-confident and foolish in his methods. When he trained his gun on his target he didn't shoot first, he stopped to ask questions. Miles thought the thug was intimidated by the banter, but he was left asking another question. "Where'd he get the bat?"
It took months for Miles to recover from his beatings. Fortunately for him, he was not scarred, but he still considered the mugging a sign. Specifically, a sign that he had no place in his father's operation. Lazarus Senior would have none of that. When Miles told him he didn't want to be involved after his injuries, Lazarus Senior reassured him his assailant was dead. Miles wasn't comforted by that fact, and refused to continue with his training. Luckily, Lazarus Senior was a reasonable man and decided he didn't need to threaten his own son to convince him to continue the family business. The Kingpin offered his cowardly son many a thing to convince him to keep on training. First, it was a bottle of fine wine. Then, it was a lump of gold. Next, Miles was given a suit. Finally, Lazarus Senior gave away one thing that wasn't his to give away.
Miles received a devil fruit that was not meant for him. One of Don Lazarus's best men had stolen the devil fruit and claimed it, but he wasn't available to eat it. Miles didn't care who owned the fruit, he wanted to taste the powers of the coveted fruit. The Enforcer who 'owned' the consumed fruit was pissed off when he learned it was given to Miles. He challenged Lazarus Junior to a fight, but the boy didn't want to fight so soon after he had healed from his injuries.
When Miles didn't show up on the day of the duel, the Enforcer's rage grew. Miles, though, was no longer the target of this gangbanger's anger; instead, he decided he would kill Don Lazarus and take over the Lazarus Family. Then, he'd kill Miles.
In the middle of the night, Lazarus Senior was shot once in the skull and twice in the heart. After betraying his boss, the next step of the new Don was to burn down the Lazarus manor. Miles suited up and grabbed his gun before leaving the slowly blazing-away estate. He didn't want to kill anyone, and was afraid to challenge the new leader of the Lazarus Family, but Miles knew this meant war. Word of Lazarus Senior's death hit the streets, and Miles prepared for a counter-attack.
The young Lazarus expected a major confrontation, a huge gunfight, and to suffer injuries, but Lady Luck shined down on him. His mark was cocky and unaware the night Miles crashed his party. It didn't take much to ruin the festivities. Funny thing how a bullet can dampen people's spirits. With two leaders dead within a month, the Lazarus family was running out of options for Don candidates. Miles was nominated for the job because he killed the former boss and also partially because he was actually a Lazarus, but he refused. When Miles abandoned the gang, they were left without a leader. Soon a band of marines killed or captured the highest echelon of the Lazarus family, and the gang fell apart.
Miles was wanted for murder.
Personality: Miles is a cowardly man who is quick to boast and slow to act, unless victory is assured. If he knows he is going to win he will take on any challenge, but the moment he sees a chance to fail his mood changes. Miles also tends to over-exaggerate (verging on hyperbole) the extremity of his past adventures to massage his pride. As a proud man, Miles does not take insults to his identity lightly; in fact, one of the few things that can inspire Miles to engage himself in a losing battle is being called a coward (even though its true). His fears would be more crippling if Miles were not as ignorant to the severity of situations as he typically is, as he lacks an awareness most people possess. While a talented marksman, Miles lacks faith in his own abilities and quietly attributes most his feats of skill to luck. When recanting the tale, however, Miles will always mention it was his "dynamite aim" or "lightning fast draw".
Miles's favorite hobby is collecting obscure and unique objects. Prior to obtaining his devil fruit, this meant cataloging various insects and plants, but nowadays Miles will capture anything from natural phenomena to dangerous animals. After gaining his strange powers, Miles Lazarus has gained an interest in wild animals that is only slightly limited by his fear of maiming. Miles's second favorite hobby is sharp-shooting, his third is enjoying luxurious food and wine, and his fourth favorite hobby is counting money. While he doesn't particularly love telling stories, he tells them to any who listen. While Miles sometimes rises to the occasion, he is not afraid of running away from a fight and sometimes when people are depending on him he will instead waste his time pursuing hobbies.

Devil Fruit:Ganzai Ganzai no MiType: Paramecia
Effect: Allows users to encapsulate objects in pills and consume them to emulate their traits
Special Abilities: expert shot with a handgun; incredibly fast hands
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): Imbue: Miles stuffs one (or two) of his Ganzai pills into the chamber of his revolver and then fires a shot. Instead of flinging a bullet towards the enemy, the hammer breaks the pill and the gun consumes it. The next bullet fired from his revolver is imbued with the effects of the pill (for instances, a fire pill would turn the bullet into a flaming bullet, and the bomb pill would turn the bullet into an exploding round)
Capture: As Miles grabs an object or living being (save a sentient being such as human or a fishman), a transparent coating pours out of his hands to encapsulate the item Miles is grabbing.
Swift Shooting: Miles can deftly fire at a ridiculously fast pace, emptier his revolver in a single second. This technique can be used in tandem with Rapid Reload to take out a small crowd before they can respond.
Rapid Reload: Miles shifts seven bullets into the emptied chamber of his revolver fast enough to continue firing a brief moment after the last bullet left his gun.
Weapons/Items: a revolver (ten inch barrel with a seven bullet chamber)

Anyone effected by the poison is temporarily blinded (one post), slowed down to half-speed (for three posts), and will fall unconscious in ten posts if the illness isn't treated (The effects last for two posts or until two more pills are consumed). Miles can use this pill two times per thread.
