Kohaku is an Akita dog dressed in a samurai armor. Unlike other dogs normal height, he stands at 5'6'' and a good 6'5'' when standing on his hind legs.

weapon special abilities:

Kohaku is a trained dog that attacks on command and uses his armor as part of his attacks as well as helping him in guarding his vital points. He is also used as a messenger dog and a retrieval dog to bring back big packages and/or people. Now he is just used as a guard dog and companion with Gran Elda and Miharu.

history:

Kohaku was born and raised a military dog, just as his previous generations have done so as well. He was a faithful dog that would never leave his partner alone during combat, and carried on his duties faithfully and with great honor. For 7 years he served his first master dutifully, and afterwards he was given the his master's close friend to keep her company and until he came back from a mission he couldn't take him to.

Gran Elda has been taking care of Kohaku ever since her friend had left him there with her and even though they had gone off with the wrong foot the first time they met, they were able to coexist afterwards on one condition: she gets protection for her tavern while he gets all the steaks he wanted. And now with Miharu, he gets to play around with the boy...Playing around being chasing him around the island until they get tired.
