Appearance: Berry looks like an enlarged version of a Dalmation Pelican. In fact, he is twice as big.

History: Berry was born on a quiet island in the South Blue. Berry grew up as the dominant click in his nest by stealing his meals from his siblings. As such, Berry was bestowed the everlasting curse of greed possessed by his race. Berry grew up very strong, flying faster and farther than any other bird on his island. He could soar across islands with ease. One day, Berry flew all the way to Droy Depper's home village.

Upon entering the town's harbor, Berry noticed a small house overlooking the harbor. Berry flew over to it and looked through the window. No one was inside. Berry proceded to break the window and fly into the house. It seemed empty except for a few chairs, tables, and desks. It was the perfect place to build a nest to attract mates. Berry began to rearrange the inside of the house.

Droy returned to that small house later in the day to find it ravaged. The only identifiable culprit seemed to be the absurdly large pelican sitting in the middle of the room with furniture surrounding it. Droy managed to sneak up on the bird and tackled it to the ground. Looking at the pelican, Droy could not bring himself to kill it. Instead, he decided to make a deal with the bird. In return for letting it stay in his home, Berry would have to perform errands for him. Berry only squawked when he heard Droy speak. Unsure if the noise was a yes or a no, Droy went out, bought a fish, and tried to make the deal again. This time, Berry nodded. From this moment on, Droy named the pelican Berry and they became well acquainted ever since.

Personality: Simple and straightforward. If Droy or a client gives Berry a note or package, Berry will deliver it without fail. All he lives for is to work and be fed. As such, if you talk to him without the intent of either of those two actions, Berry will ignore you.

For a pelican, Berry is exceptionally strong, able to carry weights of up to 60pounds while flying continuously at 260 km per hour.
Berry also has excellent tracking skills, being able to pinpoint ships and individuals across the seas.

Note: Berry has no offensive capabilities at all. Just saying.
