Species: Human
Occupation: Tinker
Allegiance: Rebels
Home Village/Ocean: South Blue
Appearance:
Height: 6’3
Weight: 166 lbs
Gender: Male
Eyes: White-ish blue. Thor’s eyes look as if an electric current were running through them.
Hair: Blonde and spiked up.
Appearance: Very large muscular arms and broad shoulders. Skin is tanned, but not dark. Chest and stomach also very well developed and toned. Legs are muscular, but not large like the upper body. Thor has a very hardened face, and a scar crossing his left eye, from the top left to right next to the nose. He has another scar going from next to his right eye down to his jaw.
Clothes: Thor wears no shirt (except in very cold weather). He wears white pants with a yellow lightning bolt going down the outside of each leg. The pants are held up by a blue sash tied in the front. The sash also has a blue carabiner tied on each hip, to hang his hammers. Thor wears large, brown boots that are mostly covered by his pants. They have a large gold buckle on them.
History: Thor’s mother died in childbirth, so he lived with his father throughout his childhood. His father was a great inventor and scientist, but unlike many scientists, who immersed themselves in their studies, Thor’s father always found time to spend with Thor. Since his father was a renowned scientist and therefore very bus, Thor often spent time with him in the lab and learned about his experiments.
When Thor was 13, a group of important looking men came to his father’s lab and started arguing with his father, demanding that he invent some item for them. His father finally agreed after they threatened to take Thor away, and began work on the invention. A year later, when the invention was nearly complete, the men came and abducted Thor’s father and most of the technology in his lab.
Thor and his father lived alone on a hill 7 miles from the nearest town, so Thor stayed in the home by himself, waiting for his father to return. Eventually he started experimenting in the lab to pass the time. When searching for some of the few remaining materials, Thor came across some plans hidden in the secret compartment of a desk drawer. These plans outlined how to create electricity with a magnet and copper wire, and also how to store it in a nickel-cadmium battery. Thor then proceeded to create these inventions.
After many attempts he was finally able to create a small electric current, and could store it in the battery for a short period of time. A few days later Thor spotted the same important looking men walking up the hill to his house. He quickly hid the inventions and blueprints in his backyard, fearing the men would take them like they did all the other stuff in the lab. As he suspected, the men ransacked the lab and house, finding only a scared boy of 14 and the general furnishings of a well-to-do family home.
After that Thor left the house and set out to find his father and free him from the men.
Personality: Loud and boisterous. Thor has a very deep booming voice, and talks loudly. He loves to invent and will spend hours silently tinkering in the corner. He generally keeps to himself, but when talking with he friends he talks loud and laughs a lot. He loves a good joke or pranks, and will often crack a few himself. This attitude carries on into his fighting, where he talks to his opponent as if a friend, though insults are a bit more common. Thor is very bright, but doesn’t have a whole lot of common sense and is fairly easily impressed and tricked. He also gets bored easily and will often go off to tinker with his hammers or other inventions when he has nothing fun to do. After creating his hammers, Thor stopped inventing weapons and instead chose to invent useful items such as a milk steamer for adding steamed milk to coffee (he hates dark coffee).
Habits: Spinning his hammers to charge them (this makes a low humming sound). Created an arc or lightning between his hammers (this makes a crackling sound).
Ship: none
Ship Flag: Personal Insignia: Two black hammers crossed over a yellow lightning bolt.
Devil Fruit: none
Special Abilities: Exceptional endurance and stamina. Very smart (not quick thinking, but smart). Vast electrical knowledge.
Fighting Style:
Twin Lightning Hammers
Thor uses his hammers to generally bash the opponent. The electrical aspect is just a bonus that adds to the effectiveness of the attack. The hammers can be used to block attacks, but they were not designed as defensive weapons and therefore are not very effective. Thor instead relies on damaging the opponent’s muscles with his left hammer, Jolt, to hinder their attacks. Shock is then used to harm the opponent and eventually knock them out with repeated shocks of electricity. If Thor is able to land two simultaneous hits, he can create a current between the hammers through the opponent’s body, causing a massive electric shock. Thor has great stamina and uses his attacks to wear down the opponent until they give in.
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
Twin Lightning Hammers style
Right Shock: Shocks enemy with hammer in right hand, “Shock”. This is very painful and can cause burns.
Left Jolt: Jolts enemy with hammer in left hand, “Jolt”. This can cause muscle spasms and affects nerves, causes little pain.
Shocking Arc: By placing the hammers about 2 feet apart, and pressing the right hammers button, Thor creates and arc of lightning that jumps from the right hammer to the left. This causes great pain as it travels through a person’s body, and can prove fatal if it goes directly through the heart, or through the ears and brain.
Jolting Field: By using the same method as Shocking Arc, but pressing the button on the left hammer instead, Thor can create a field of charged air. This effects brain function if a head enters the field, and effects nerve signals if another body part enters the field. It also makes anything in the field positively charged, so that object will attract electricity. The field created a tingling sensation, but causes no pain otherwise.
Hammer Current: When both hammers are in contact with an opponent, (or object that conducts electricity) Thor can press both buttons to create an electric current that passes through the body (or object). This is extremely painful and will cause all the muscles to contract, causing the victim to crumple as if hit by a stun gun. This reaction is unpreventable by will power alone.
Weapons/Items:
Weapon Names: Shock and Jolt
Weapon Description: These are two war hammers with very large heads. They have two blunt ends and a small spike at the top. The hammers were invented by Thor. They emit electricity, using an electromagnet in the head of the hammer. When the hammer is spun, the electromagnet creates electricity that is transported through wires to the edges of the hammer. The electricity is stored in a nickel-cadmium battery that is in the hammers handle. A button on the handle causes the battery to release electricity into the hammer’s head, so any attacks will shock the opponent. The hammer is lighter and a little bit weaker because of these hollow areas inside it, but it is made of pure dark steel and is still very strong. The quickest way to charge the hammer is to spin it on the point like a top.
Thor’s right hammer, Shock, has wires that come all the way to the edge of the steel. These allow the hammer to shock his enemies when they are hit. The hammer held in the left hand, Jolt, has a network of wires just below the surface of the steel. This makes the entire surface charged, and administers a smaller electric jolt. This jolt, however, affects the targets muscles and nerves. It makes it harder for them to move the muscles in the area hit, and makes the muscles cramp and spasm. When the hammers’ heads are held within 2 feet of each other, and the buttons are pressed, an arc of electricity will jump from the right hand hammer to the left. If a human body part is between the two, the arc will jump to the body before jumping to the left hammer, causing burns and a large shock. This would prove fatal to an average human if the head was in between the hammers.
Special Abilities: Shock shocks opponent, causing pain and small burns. Jolt gives a small jolt that causes less pain and doesn't burn skin, but will affect muscles and nerves and may cause muscle spasms
History: Invented by Thor using technology from his father's work
Wires, magnets, wire cutters, other things an electrician would use.
Goals: To find his father.
