Name: Avery Crusher's Mechanical Parts
Description: Avery has two parts of his body which are mechanical. One is his right leg and the other is his left arm.
Left Arm: This right arm was constructed from a special mixture of metals that make it a little heavier and tougher than ordinary steel. This arm is made up of metal plates. These plates can slide apart and vacuum up air or water. Once his arm has been filled, the air or water can be fired out of a hole that opens in the center of Avery's palm. The force at which the air or water is fired is equal to a cannon blast. Only a single shot can be stored at a time and it takes one post to fill up. The inside of the arm is weaker than the outside, so while the plates are apart, Avery's arm is more vulnerable.
Right Leg: This left leg was constructed from a special mixture of metals that make it a little heavier and tougher than ordinary steel. However, there are weak points along the joint areas because this leg was also made to be more flexible than even ordinary limbs and thus separates at those points into different segments. Within the leg are several springs, which have been positioned so that if Avery pushes his leg down it collapses in on itself until it is only half as high as it is originally. Once it has been collapsed all the way, the force behind the springs can launch Avery as high as a three story building. The springs also help absorb impact so if Avery falls a great distance, he can avoid most of the damage that he might have received otherwise. Lastly, these springs can be used to momentarily boost Avery's speed if he is leaning forward while using them.
Special Abilities: The arm can effectively be used as a mobile cannon. The leg enables Avery to jump great heights and move faster for a short burst.
History: Avery lost his leg years ago in an accident. He worked on creating a replacement with his master, who was teaching him how to build weapons. They succeeded and Avery was once again able to walk. Over the years he has improved the leg, first making it more flexible and its movements more smooth so that he could walk easier. Just within the last few months, he replaced it entirely with a new leg, which is the leg described above.
Avery lost his arm during his time training away from his crew, the Milky Way Pirates. He was fighting a giant tiger, which bit his arm off. Avery quickly replaced his arm with a mechanical version, but just like with his leg, he has steadily improved upon it to make its use easier and soon after added in the cannon feature.
