Appearance: Rupert is 5ft 8 and weighs 9 stone 11 pounds he has hazel eyes and medium length mousey brown hair which hangs down over his forehead and just above his eyes. Rupert has light facial hair which grows quickly and freckles from cheek to cheek under his eyes which get fainter and fainter the further away from the nose they are. Rupert has a button nose and a slight afro Caribbean look about himself with olive skin, he doesn’t have a six pack but he has the beginning of one, the muscles can be seen on his body but they are not toned or huge. Rupert has many scars over his entire body but only small ones, he wears casually smart shoes and black or dark blue trousers or jeans and a dark blue t-shirt with thin white stripes horizontally along it, he wears a necklace with a yin and yang symbol on it which comes apart and a wrist band on his right wrist which is chequered black and white. Rupert wears a dark brown tweed trilby and also carries a brown rucksack on his back usually over one shoulder.

History: Rupert’s parents travelled around allot searching the land for the perfect place to settle down and raise a family. Rupert’s mother was pregnant as they were sailing along the Grand Line, when his mother began having contractions his parents docked on the closest island which turned out to be Little Garden. When Rupert was born he was said to be the most beautiful baby his parents had ever seen, they understood they would have to stay on the island for a year before they could continue their journey, they didn’t mind staying there and made a home there.

After spending a year on the island his parents once again set sail again and as they sailed from island to island Rupert grew older and older and found the thrill of travelling exciting, when he turned 8 he began drawing the places he visited once they arrived in Alabasta that’s where his parents decided it would be the perfect place to live and raise him, Rupert grew up in Alabasta drawing pictures of all of the art work around him, he loved seeing hat was around him and exploring and as he did so looking for new things to draw he came across an injured dog, feeling bad for the animal he picked him up and carried him to a surgery where the dog was stitched up, Rupert loved the animal and took him home with him where his parents let him keep the dog. Rupert looked after the dog and as he travelled around the island with his pet on regular occasions he would take his dog to the doctor for checks as he was worried about his pet.

After 3 years living in the hot climate Rupert learnt that his pet was getting ill and he wanted to be able to do something about it so he asked if he could study under the vet so he could learn how to look after his pet for the remaining few years he had left. The doctor agreed he could study under him as he liked seeing the love he had in his heart for his pet, as the vet also worked as a doctor he offered Rupert the chance to study under him as a doctor too. Rupert accepted the offer as his parents were getting older and he didn’t want to see them getting worse and feel helpless. Rupert studied under the doctor for 5 more years, now knowing everything he thought he needed to know he stopped studying and set about trying to find work in Alabasta but couldn’t find anyone to hire him. Rupert was told he should leave home to follow his dream by his parents but he didn’t want to leave, his parents eventually told him that he should leave because they didn’t want him to see them die. Rupert spent that night crying and cuddling his pet Duncan.

The next day Rupert packed up his bag and headed out the door looking for his dream and began hitching rides on boats in offer for his services, he travelled around searching for something he wanted until he realised one thing in life which he wanted because it was rare and that was love, he already loved Duncan but sadly he would die soon as he was getting older, but Rupert was going to do whatever he could to prolong his life. As Rupert travelled around from island to island he helped people and animals who were injured.

Personality: Rupert is socially awkward guy who stutters and feels very self conscious allot of the time, he is much stronger and much more of a threat than most people think but he is generally a nice kind hearted person which people don’t see in him. He gets angry when people don’t acknowledge him or his kindness but he knows he isn’t a great person and often feels bad about himself, he seeks kindness and love from other people but mainly sticks to himself and his pet who is his best friend, Rupert finds it difficult talking to women he likes and can be rude at times but doesn’t like being rude, he hates how he looks and prefers animals at times as they don’t judge him, he can be very angry at times and when he is angry he will not speak much. Rupert enjoys being around people who know him and like him for who he is.
