Appearance: Crimson hair that goes down to his neck in the back, shorter in the front. Small stubble of a beard. Dark green eyes with a tattoo under his left eye. About 5'11" with a slightly muscular build. Large scar with stitches from his hairline across the right side of his face. Always wears a brown trench coat that goes down to his knees, a backpack to carry his treasure around, and a red scarf wrapped around his neck. He wears black jeans with a dark red belt and brown combat boots. usually wears black fingerless gloves.

History: Caliko was born in a smallish town on an island in the West Blue where many pirates gathered. He learned about a pirates lifestyle by listening to stories about their travels and aspired to be one from a young age. His parents were also pirates and left the town when he was 3, leaving him in the care of a doctor who was friends with his parents. Unfortunately, the amount of pirates that gathered at the island caused Marines to keep close watch on it. A large brigade of Marines attacked the town after a pirate shot at them when he was 14 and killed his many of the villagers. He was nearly killed by a marine from a slash across the face and would've died had the doctor not rescued him immediately to perform surgery. His brain was damaged so he can no longer speak full sentences. At most he can say 2-3 words at a time with stuttering. It takes him some time to read as well. Shortly after his operation, he found out the doctor was once a famous pirate. He discovered his secret stash of treasure where he found the Ranchi Ranchi no Mi. After hearing tales of pirates with the power of devil fruits, he decided to eat it hoping it would aid him in his quest to become a famous pirate. Just after he finished eating it, the doctor found him in his secret room and saw that he had eaten the fruit. He became furious with Caliko and tried to make him throw it up. As he attacked, Caliko panicked and launched himself at the doctor by accident and crippled him. Caliko, blaming himself for the incident, spent the next 6 years learning to use and control the fruit, and learn to be a doctor before finally setting sail to become a pirate.

Personality: Usually quiet due to his disability but still excitable. Likes to be discrete and unnoticed. Tends to take things slowly and carefully EXCEPT during combat. He loves to collect antiques and expensive things like artifacts and jewels, and will go to any length to get all that he finds. He uses almost all of his spare time with his treasures, whether he's polishing them or just staring at them. He is usually reluctant to try new things but can grasp them quite quickly. Doesn't take most things seriously unless its dangerous or expensive. He eats a lot due to his devil fruit but can't hold his drink at all. Also prone to mood swings and absent mindedness.

Ranchi Ranchi no Arashi (His strongest attack. He digs his feet into the ground then blasts air with maximum force to blow his enemy away. Always does it against a wall or it does serious damage to his back as well as his arm which takes damage anyway. Last resort attack)

Hmm... I feel that the history could use some more explanation.

His parents are only there in the history to get murdered it seems. Did he have any siblings, and did his parents even matter to Caliko at all? He definitely doesn't seemed phased with his parents dropping dead. Why was he spared? Why does he want to become a pirate in the first place, if pirates trashed his hometown and killed his family?

How did he come across a devil fruit to begin with? It's highly unlikely to just stumble upon one, and unlikely again to accidentally eat it.

It also doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me how he's a cook, since I don't remember reading anything at all about it elsewhere on the sheet. Care to elaborate on the things I've mentioned?
