Appearance:
Jonathan stands at roughly 6'2". He has dark brown mop like hair which reach down to his shoulders. On his fringe are several strands of white hair. Jonathan is slightly pale and is slightly underweight. Across his nose is a long scar, going over the bridge of his nose and going under both eyes. He is most often seen wearing the Marine uniform. Jonathan has dark blue eyes, that are white just around the pupil then become darker the further out they go, becoming black at the edge of the iris. Jonathan is extremely veiny; his veins showing up almost all over his body except for his face and legs, due to him being skinny. The worst place for this is the hands and feet where the even bump out of the skin.

History:
Jonathan grew up on an island within the West Blue. Ever since Jonathan was born, Marines have always watched over the island, protecting the civilians from harm and from pirates. Jonathan was always looked up to the Marines, yet looked up to the Island's Doctor with more regard for saving the lives of so many people. Jonathan became close friends with the Doctor, eventually learning from him and watching his surgeries whenever he did one, which was not that often. Jonathan eventually became partners with the doctor but eventually left to study the Devil Fruit he had acquired.

Jonathan had acquired the Devil Fruit while he was walking across the beach, studying the patterns of waves. It had bobbed across the waves to land on the beach, close to where Jonathan was standing. Jonathan ran towards the Fruit to stop it washing back out to see again. Once he had it within his grasp, he ran home and began to study it's design. Jonathan placed it on top of a table before running out and to his mentor and partner, who would usually be at the clinic at this time. He told him that he is resigning as his partner to first study a Fruit that he had found and to then join the marines, who he had always looked up to. The doctor simply nodded and went back to his work.

Jonathan ran back home, at this stage he barely made it through the door, and went to his desk. Jonathan noted down the overall size, shape and appearance of the fruit. As a final act, he ate the fruit to continue it's study. Jonathan spent an entire year of studying the fruit's capabilities before joining the Marines. He joined the Marines, not only to help them, but also help the people of the world with his medicinal skills.

Personality:
Jonathan can be extremely sadistic at times, yet when someone innocent is extremely injured, Jonathan is usually the first one to run over to help them. His sadistic humour usually comes out when using his Devil Fruit, as he tends to watch. When not being sadistic, Jonathan tends to be a thoughtful person, usually going out of his way to help people. Jonathan is usually an upbeat, happy person, only becoming glum if it is something extremely serious. Jonathan is extremely hard to irritate, due to the fact that he is so upbeat all of the time, but this fact also tends to annoy a lot of people. Jonathan also tends to keep strictly to facts and never puts 'faith' into anything. He will also state what he feels about people as freely as he wants.

• Envy: Jonathan touches a person, using his devil fruit, makes them feel envious of everyone's possesions, wanting everything that anyone else has.
  
• Sloth: Jonathan touches a person, using his devil fruit, makes them feel extremely tired, wanting to go to sleep at that exact moment. If the victim tries to stay awake, they would feel rather weak.
