Appearance: Standing tall at 7ft 2 Gesso towers over many people even though hunched over he wears a large straw hat which is thin but wide and covers most of his face from the sun. Gesso has long narrow face with a few small wrinkles on his forehead. Gesso has a small goatee and wears a long very dark teal cloak which is draped over his whole body. Underneath the cloak not much can be seen but it is known that he wears a black t-shirt and white trousers with patterns on them made from blood of previous patients. He wears wooden sandals and had white leather wrapped around his trousers full of surgical equipment in case of emergency. He also carries round a scoped rifle “Carpe” on his back which hangs on by another white leather strap.

History: Gesso had always wanted to become a Marine and trained hard every day to become one to become the best in his fields and succeeded. Being such a hard working determined man Gesso was almost instantly hired as a bodyguard for many high ranking Marines as he could perform surgery if required and was an excellent marks man. Gesso gained his skills as a sharp shooter by having the best accuracy with basic weapons he was put forward to train to be a sniper and came top of his class at the age of 22. Gesso had originally joined the become a medic and excelled in that field, as he enjoyed saving lives, but as a Marine killing someone was something he would eventually have to deal with and he chose to do what he can to help people for justice. He thought he could help prolong people's lives and help men down on the ground by protecting them from afar. Gesso was proud of himself but when he felt he’d reached his dream of becoming the best in the Marines he grew older and felt less enthusiastic with his life he began to feel unfulfilled. As their ship went to battle many men died in the fight while Gesso took out 45 men from afar and 13 in close combat, he noticed that their Commodore was killing innocent civilians. When Gesso asked what for he demanded he tell him. Gesso learnt it was because the Marines wanted to use the island for a base of operations but the inhabitants refused to leave. Gesso punched the commodore who in return drew his sword which had become rusty and went to attack Gesso. Gesso managed to twist the sword to face the commodore then kicked it into him as he did this the blade snapped. Gesso boarded the ship again but the commodore was unconscious and brought aboard. With Gesso claiming he couldn't work on the commodore they found help from Bartleby Pulse a young daredevil who was the son of two doctors. Once the commodore was killed by accident Gesso was happy but disagreed with Bartleby being held captive. To avoid suspicion Gesso went to speak to Bartleby on the 4th day Bartleby was locked up and let him know that he disagreed and felt that he should be let go free. Free to discover his purpose with his mind made up Gesso opened the cell and helped Bartleby sneak to a life boat under his cloak. Shortly after Gesso quit the Marines refusing to be part of the organization any more.

Personality: Gesso is a strict older man who doesn’t take crap from anyone and will always do what he can to make things right in his own eyes. Gesso has a soft side but barley shows emotion, even when killing. He is very determined in whatever he is doing and will never show guilt or remorse as he always thinks at least twice before doing anything stupid. Gesso is a quiet character who likes his work too much but only enjoys it if it for reasons he agrees with otherwise he can be a hand full to deal with. His sniping skill are some of the best making it hard to get into close combat with him but not impossible. Gesso is a very responsible character who will often make promises and never forget them or break one.

Learned Techniques

Butt smash-Gesso uses the butt of his sniper to crack bones.

Quick shot-Gesso aims quickly and takes out his enemies just as quick.

Foot step-Gesso kicks people in the face but as he does it he uses such a strong force the people bend backward a bit and Gesso can step from person to person quickly.

Weapons/Items: Basic Marine rifle (Gesso stole the rifle when he quit.)

Goals: Meet Bartleby again, fight for proper justice and keep everyone of his promises.

You're gonna have to ask Newspeak for permission to use that gun of his if you'd like to use it. While you're free to use basic weapons that are approved from that section, this one's named and for a specific character of his. I'd like you to either make a new weapon of your own, or gain Newspeak's permission for using it.

It would also be nice if there was just a wee bit more description on how he gained his doctoring and marksmanship skills. Those two occupations usually don't go together, and since you make it sound like he's respectable in both fields I'd like to see a bit of explanation for them. How did he learn them? It doesn't have to be multiple paragraphs or anything, but an explanation would be nice.
