Max sat in the cargo bay of a dusty old Merchant ship. They had just left the previous island, and were finally on their way to logue town. Max was sitting on a large bag of rice staring blankly at the same manifest he had been staring at for the past few hours. "God how long is this going to take?" muttered Max. The small sheet of paper he was holding on to was a manifest from the dock of his home island. It contained the information of the ships that had recently been there, including the one that left the night after his teacher was killed. "They were the only ones that had come to his island in the whole week", thought Max, "His murderer must be on that boat". The boat Max was looking for was a classic passenger ship, one used for "mass" transit in East blue. He hoped this one didn't have TOO many people on it. First he had to get to Logue town and determine who on that ship would have a reason to kill his master, and where they were going. That is if he "COULD GET THERE ON TIME DAMN" yelled Max, clearly upset at how long this was all taking. As he grew impatient he stepped up the stairs to speak with some one in the crew to find out "how much longer is this trip going to !!", he quickly shut his mouth. He could see that they were just now docking and was too caught up in himself to realize. Max hopped onto the wooden planks of the dock and said "Thanks for the ride guys", already walking away towards the center of town.
