Capabilities:The person that has this devil fruit can turn into a basilisk. The Basilisk is a legendary creature that is the king of the serpents. It is a snake that has a crown shaped crest on his head. The user of this ability can petrify part of the opponent. This has an effective range of 15 yards and that doubles if he is full transformation. This has a 3 post cool down. The user of this fruit can also emit a posionous breath which is extreamly deadly but it has a very short range. This can be used as a great defensive weapon creating the poison around him now allowing for the opponent to fight him up close without inhaling the poison. The poison attacks the nervous system. It causes extreme pain and eventually shuts down he system after a few minutes. Its effective range is only about 10 feet though it can be used as a great defensive move. This is most effective in a closed space. Type: Mythical Zoan

Petrification by looking at an opponent will not be accepted- please place some noticeable limitations on this ability (strength of will is not a concrete value); also define the poison's effects more in depth.

What do you think would be suited for the petrification

For the petrification, I would suggest it does not completely petrify the target but rather traps part of what is seen in stone, the stare has to have a maximum range, a maximum time before it ends, and a short cool down before it can be used again.
