Appearance: Brent stands 5’9 and has Short brown hair with goggles on his forehead. He wears a black shirt with a plaid blue vest. He also wears jeans with heavy leather hunting boots. On his left wrist is a golden watch with a silver lining. He owns a katana which he keeps in a scabbard on his back.
History: Brent was born in a village that under marine protection though most pirates stayed away from the island the villagers still lived in fear. For the commodore that was in charge of the island was cruel to the population. He was very strict and extremely harsh to those who violated the laws he set. The marines that he was in charge of were just as cruel and arrested people on the spot without asking questions.
During his life at the age of 6 he was separated from his father for being in question of illegal selling of crops and tools off to pirates. Though most people knew this wasn’t true his father was still arrested out of fear of punishment. Without a father to help support the family Brent’s life worsened as he was physically abused by the marines when he worked in the fields.
One day many years later the people of the village began creating an escape route. The first attempt was met by an execution of those who were got. The second attempt failed as well. The third and final attempt went somewhat successful. The escape route was a boat that took a handful of people off the island at a time. Only a few people, including Brent, have made it aboard when the boat was discovered and the alarm sounded. Before his mother could make it aboard the boat was forced to set sail.
The boat landed on a forested isle without food or water. Before they set sail they looked around for food and supplies. Brent found little to no food and half-starved before finding a strange looking fruit on the forest floor. Ignoring the taste he immediately devoured it and thought little about it until setting sail. One of the villagers aboard realized that it had been colder than it should have been around an hour after they set sail. Many of the others felt so too except for Brent who had felt nothing of the sort. A few days later they landed in a lowly populated town, where they reintegrated into society.
There Brent felt angrier at the marines in his old town then the others that he escaped with. Walking into the forest he attacked a tree only to find that his punch had frozen part of the bark. Wildly surprised he decided to keep it a secret, taking the boat that he came in the village with he set sail, hoping to become strong enough to regain his homeland.
Personality: Brent is a very active person and never gives up. His physical punishment in the past has given him a burning fire to get revenge against marines. He treats his friends as equals and rivals as he tries to be the best in everything he does. he hates being unable to do anything especially if his friends are in trouble. he usually has a smile on his face except when facing marines, hating all under the name of marines. he loves to be free and make decisions for himself, but will make exceptions for somebody he calls captain.
Ship: a small boat compared to most pirate ships.
Ship Flag: a skull and crossbones with arms coated in war paint instead of the normal bones

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
Ice punch: coats the arm to ice to increase the damage of a punch, but due to him still learning to control is devil fruit he takes some time to reuse the attack.
Soul serge: Brent uses his powers over ice to lower the temperatures around him to slow down the reactions of those around him.

Goals: to have revenge on the marines that oppressed his village.
