At least people seem to know you exist. I've appeared twice, as a mysterious guy both times. Anyways, let's bauss this out.

Main character: Newspeak - An basketball sized eyeball with a yellow iris and a slit pupil. Stands on three slim pink tentacles that protrude from where the optic nerve would connect to a real eyeball. Communicates telepathically with a voice like this.
Main character special attack: A couple of them.

Rival character: Nobody really even knows he exists, so he hasn't formed any strong rivalries. The few people who do know he exists mostly dislike him, though.

Love interest (main character): The Nothing, because...well, who'd love an eyeball?

Love interest (rival character): Gary Busey, just because.

Secondary Character (serious): Nikz, who hangs around with the eyeball despite it's constantly complaining about how bright the sun is.

Secondary character (best friend): Pascia, who occasionally feeds it books. No, it doesn't eat by reading. It literally eats the books. Through it's pupil.

Comic relief: Major, Frog, and Iggy. They're all funny dudes who doesn't afraid of anything.

Reoccurring villain good-guy: Gael regularly shows up to foil my sinister attempts at genocide, world destruction, going to White Castle, etc. Seriously, in what kind of messed-up world is a hideous laser-shooting corpse-infesting eyeball monster the good guy?

Tougher villain good-guy: Admin-sama, the king of Racetopia. He doesn't take kindly to Lovecraftian-horror-eyeball shenanigans.

Villain Good-guy that switches sides: Cryptic Terror. She sees how much fun it is to drink copy toner and just not give a damn, and eventually joins in the fun.

Protagonist Villain that switches sides: James D. Cook. After a while he gets fed up and kicks Newspeak down a hill, leaving him dazed and with dirt in his all-of-him.

Boss villain good-guy: Cobdogred, who finds a sharp stick. This makes him the antagonist's greatest threat in the known universe.

Most outrageous anime appearance: Newspeak, who reminds the viewer every episode that they should probably spend their time watching something better.

One shot filler character: Shad0w, because he comes highly recommended for the role.

For a brief moment in the beginning of the universe Admin was an all powerful being that created the dimension in which the story takes place “grand site” however through a contrived and mysterious series of events he seems to have reverted in to a brash, confrontational male in his late teens with powers beyond his understanding (so yeah, basically any main character) admin’s group of friends grew up in a far away land called “Jayceeayecee” and trained in the mountains of a place called “Backrm” before coming to the main planet of “grand site” by way of a rocket ship made of peanuts and fueled by manliness and yelling

A punching technique which he learned by training for a year hundreds of miles under water doing ten hundred thousand punches a day, the marketing punch is a supersonic punching technique in which the user performs hundreds of blows in what appears to be one movement, these punches can even break the sound barrier and throw sonic booms at opponents

Simply by saying lightning bolt admin can call electrostatic discharge from the air around him to strike targets instantaneously, when combined with the marketing punch it becomes truly unstoppable, this is the first of admins powers to re-awaken

A relic that admin dose not remember acquiring, most of the time it presents itself as a hammer shaped amulet worn around his neck, occasionally it will take the form of a massive, all powerful hammer which has the ability to exile targets to an outward plain of existence known as “the banished expanse”, for what ever reason others can use this amulet but admin seems to be able to chose who these people are, attempts to steal the ban hammer from him all mysteriously fail

Rival character: though admin proclaims that hawk is his rival very early on in the series he comes across several other characters who oppose him in more direct ways, such as cobdogred who competes with him regularly and frog dragon who is constantly trying to undermine him, he refuses to admit that these are rivals and recognizes them simply as other people, though his actual rivalry with hawk is rather unsupported in the series, mainly through flashbacks

A boy from great sites main city who competes in comprised simulated games called “rp threads” (which admin himself sees as rather silly, preferring actual combat), gael is sweet and friendly with his own group of friends in great site, when admin came to the planet gael was present but didn’t get to meet him till a few arks later on, in the current chapters the two are inseparably close, though in the funamation dub they are described as being “the best of friends” in the ordinal dub and manga its made clear that they are lovers (one of the first instances of such a cannon grouping in a non shojo) After the zeta wars gael is seen in a field tending to a hutch full or rabbits, he looks up and smiles (presumably at admin, implying his safe return)

A guard at great sites main city, kanji trains tirelessly and has a hidden past, he fights with a pair of trench knives which double as knuckles and is one of the only non robotic gaurds in the city’s gates, later on kanji joins admins “moderator guard” to help fight the zeta invasion, his squad is comprised of himself, ?, gorefish, Nikz, Red, and Cryptic. After the zeta wars he is seen founding a village in what was a war zone in which a statue of the final battle stands, he is last seen in a shelter for war orphans talking about an unknown character he’s married, this is regarded as fan service for certain shipped pairings

Secondary character (best friend):

A friend of admins from their home planet and master of the “human resources kick” as well as the art of cloning himself keymaster is dependable and chooses his battles carefully, assisting admin in some of his endeavors and supporting most of them. After the zeta wars key master is seen in a library with a pet cat and is asked about the wars by a student, he responds by handing him a book with a peanut on the cover, a reference to how admin and company came to the planet

A friend of admins from their home planet, master of the “production and procurement combination attack” with the ability to control the green “freedom flame” Iggy is the voice of reason among admin’s friends though he stays out of many of the events of great site he is always a welcome ally. After the zeta wars Iggy is seen under a tree teaching the freedom flame to what is presumed to be the next generation of mod guards.

Cool and collected friend from admins home planet hawk uses the “sales kick” and has the power to interrupt the abilities of others, making him an equal to admin, though hawk is never much around he an admin share a close but friendly rivalry (mainly because admin proclaimed it) and hawk pushed admin to succeed in his training on their home planet after the zeta wars hawk is seen at an upscale café reading a news paper detailing the events of the final battle, he remarks that he’ll be returning the great site, implying he was on a different planet at the time

Sensei character:

Perhaps the strongest fighter admin has ever met, former leader of their settlement on their home planet captain taught admin the marketing punch and invented the “thirty three fold corporate fist” martial arts style, captain also fought and defeated the ancient “go-han” beast of great site before admin was even capable of fighting it. Corkscrew disappeared in to an unknown plain of existence just after their arrival at great site, leaving admin to carry on. At the end of the series captain is seen standing on the head of an elephant, which is on the head of a tyrannosaurus, which is on the head of a massive dragon, on a mountain, which then takes flight, possibly to reunite with his friends

A musician from great site who travels the land in search of greatness, occasionally his path will cross with admin and the two help each other out in several episodes, his main weapon is a magical guitar that has the ability to accelerate objects past the speed of sound, he has an entirely music powered motorcycle which allows him to traverse the vast areas of great site very quickly, like admin he dislikes being talked down to. He later joins admins group “moderator guard” to quell the zeta universes invasion. After the war hes seen as a rock star, playing a song detailing the events after the war. Admin is seen briefly in the audience.

Comic relief:

Lost one, youri, mistakes, crow, thor, and rodoku; all younger people growing up in the city of great site, their high-jinks are often the subject of filler episodes and they often pad out episodes of the anime and even narrate at times, in the 4kids dub they are seen as wearing large hats in the shape of mushrooms, fish, hamburgers, baseballs, and even antlers. Many of the background characters tend to compete over lost for reasons not fully explained, because of this she is a popular character in fan-art used in shipping, they also frequently break the fourth wall in their dialogue

Reoccurring villain:

A criminal from great site who is constantly breaking laws, frog is unapologetic and incredibly rude, but in the 4kids dub most of his actions are replaced with pranks rather than actual crimes (such as one instance where he spray panted the wall of a bank with a smiley face rather than robbing it, or another when he simply loitered around the sacred monument of great site rather than burning it down) it is later revealed that his crimes are not his action but rather that of a being from the “zeta universe” called “glarg” (called blarg in the 4kids dub) which becomes a sort of duel personality, frog often having to cover up or try to flee the consequences of glarg’s actions, as a running gag he often argues with himself (frog later gets a partner named Pascia and the two form an almost “team rocket” like dichotomy trying to steal admin‘s ban hammer, this creates another gag in which admin fails to recognize them) Tward the end of the series glarg consumes frogs soul and he is lost to the zeta universe, this is due to Pascia being another being from that universe

After glarg (blarg in the 4kids dub) consumes frog dragons body mind and soul it fuses with pascia’s true form in to a creature called Glargscia, which is powerful enough to break through the main gates of the city and attack the civilians, it is ultimately defeated by admin with the help of ? and Cryptic and falls backwards in to the zeta universe portal separating in to glarg and pascia again, it is later explained that newspeak consumed them for their failure and integrated their power in to itself for the final battle

That has never happened in this series, antagonist characters seem so completely diametrically opposed to the protagonists, especially admin that they frequently chose death (being sent to the banished expanse in the 4kids dub) instead of co-operation or defeat.

A powerful citizen of great site who contracted a simbiote while defending the area near the zeta portal, this simbiote is revealed to be a spawn of glarg (blarg in the 4kids dub) which was the demon controlling frog, the simbitote causes him to turn on the mod guard at the last minute, much to everyone’s surprise, he is defeated by ? but after the zeta wars he is seen guarding the gates to great sites main city in Kenjiro’s old post, cure of his simbiote and unharmed

An entity from the “zeta universe”, a plain of existence outside great site which is said to be populated mainly by inexplicable monstrosities, of which he is king. No one knows for sure why Newspeak has come to great site, only that his presence is indicative of some gateway between the two universes, through which other creatures might pass, to protect great site admin and company seek to find and close this portal as the creatures influence spreads to some of the citizens of great site. Newspeak takes the form of a hideous eyeball with tendrils, waters refers to him as a ‘beholder’ and later on as a ‘tactical monster’ (thought that was censored by the 4kids dub) and it seems to be incapable of comprehensive speech, preferring to communicate telepathically. Newspeak sends demons from the zeta universe to try and steal admin’s ban hammer, the one means of stopping the potential invasion and subsequent onslaught. Most of the villains in the series, especially frogdragon and pascia are his henchmen in one way or another.

In the manga admin had longer, shoulder length brown hair but his appearance seems to change in the anime, the ordinal dub had his hair down to the center of his back and with highlights of other shades in it, making it look rather complex, in the 4kids dub his hair was seen as being red with blue bangs for the first few episodes and being painfully short and blonde thereafter, admin also wears weather inappropriate clothing which contributes to a running gag of him being overly hot or cold in new areas of the storyline

RTGL Academy.
A school for a most gifted kind of student.
All of the students of this school, conveniently located in a hidden dimension, were born with a particular type of genetic coding that makes their bodies soluble to a powerful kind of transfiguration magic. Once their powers are discovered at home, they are immediately sent to RTGL academy to hone these powers and perfect their skills.
A common talent of every human being born with these special genetics is a love of writing, coming up with fantastical characters, a wild imagination and the most specific: the love of the anime/manga One Piece (reasons for this symptom have yet to be thought o-...I mean, discovered), hence the name of the school.
The basic “classes” center mainly around writing, plot formulation, character formulation, setting formulation and the history of piracy...though the other “classes” consist of weaponry study, hand to hand combat, sword-fighting, karate, bio-medicine and evolution, rock climbing, judo, gladiator fighting, navigating, nautical studies, archery, magical studies, devil fruit studies and MLPFIM appreciation (the most important of all).
But what makes this school EVEN MORE unique, you ask?
Upon entering the school (after passing a deadly and mind-bending entrance exam), each student is issued with a golden medallion in the shape of the student’s choice, engraved with the student’s “username” (an alias to prevent them from identified by any outsider spies who may be lurking around, attempting to bring RTGL down from the inside) and emblazoned with a Jolly Roger. This medallion allows the student to channel their amazing transfiguration abilities and thus, they can physically transform into any of the characters that they create, taking on that character’s appearance, personality, abilities etc until they wish to return back to their normal selves. (So basically we’re all taking the term “split personality” to a whole, new badass dimension).
Students travel to various other dimensions resembling the world of One Piece in teams, fighting battles in worlds that they create with the powers that they forge for themselves with the shared goal of finding the great titular treasure itself.
The school has the ultimate goal of training an army of super-powered beings that will one day rise up and rid the world of trolls, Mary-Sues, tropers who refer to themselves in the first person and all other kinds of evil, through the power of imagination, nerdery and Eiichiro Oda.
The school is run by the prestigious principal Admin-sama and his counterparts Gael and redmerv, and is overseen by a group of elite students known as moder...erm...prefects.

Main character: LoreleiMaiden aka Lore- a transfer student from a different RP si-...er, I mean...academy.

Main character special attack: The Loving Hug of Friendship (aka The Doom Constriction): Lore will run up to her enemy and grab them in a friendly, warm hug...and then slowly proceed to crush their vertebrae against their internal organs until their ribcage splits and the spinal cord is disjointed beyond repair...
All other attacks, like other students, vary depending on which character she happens to be in the form of.

Main character’s special item: Like every other student at RTGL Academy, Lore’s special item is her magic medallion which allows her to transform into her characters. Whatever weapon she possesses, varies depending on which character form she happens to be in. Her medallion is heart-shaped.
(Note: Relationships between “students” can change in relation to which of their characters’ forms they are in. For example, some students may get on very well but may have corresponding OCs that hate each other and vice versa...you get the picture...)

Rival character: Gael (purely because he’s an AMAZING writer with really, really well thought-out characters and I reckon he’d make a worthy opponent in any write-off. But in this “anime” it’s kind of like a “I’m –your-rival-so-that-we-can-keep-challenging-each-other-and-help-the-other-better-their-skills” kind of rival)

Love interest (main character): James D. Cook

Love interest (rival character): Admin-sama

Secondary Character (serious): valaswedit and/or Thor

Secondary character (best friend): TheLostOne10

Sensei character: Major

Secondary character (mysterious): WatersCalling (I’ve been RPing with Waters for a while but I don’t think we’ve spoken except through the voices of Romeo, Larno, Rarara, Red and Delphi, yet).

Most outrageous anime appearance: y dau cymraeg (when in the form of Grudge Blakhart...that is one character that cracks me up! He’s a rockstar fishman!)

One shot filler character: Hysteria (because we’ve spoken once or twice but we don’t really know Hysteria-chan yet...but I’d like to! )

So....is it a school and/or magical girl series? If it was magical girl that would be AWESOME because those are entertaining....

YES! I definitely pictured it to be a kind of magical girl series or shoujo due to the protagonist being female and the backdrop being a school and the transforming and such...! And hey! If it's a school magical-girl anime then we all get the chance to wear seifukus (sailor uniforms and whatnot ^^ :3) WIN!

Well, since other people had all these cool posts with anime style storylines attached to them, I have modified my post to do the same thing. It’s on the first page. I have also added an extra generic character type and made some minor changes in the order of generic character types, since as you go down the list more of the plotline is explained with each character and I didn't want to talk about something that hadn't been explained.

Wow James! I really like your take on this site as an anime!
Something about the dystopian future/rebels fighting against a hostile army of creatures/aspiring writer becoming a kickass warrior (complete with Arthurian-themed weapon *double points*) really, really appeals to me.
I also admire how you fleshed out your individual character stereotypes.

To tell you the truth, Lore, this is actually based off of a book series idea I had thought up already. It was going to be a mixture of magic, aliens with laser guns and teleporters, and super powered humans. Oddly enough, that sounds a bit like something Marvel would and has done.

(Hehehe... Oh Marvel... Our relationship was short and, eh... kind of weird...)

Main character’s special item: A robotic fridge stocked with caramel shortcake and branded fruit juice mixes, nicknamed F.R.E.D. (fridge robot enduring daftness)

Rival characters: Valawsedit, Loreleimaiden and Admin-sama, against everyones opinon except Y Dau Cymraeg himself. Mostly because he wanted multiple rivals. Rumour has it he also wants cake right now.

Love interest (main character): Has yet to decide someone who he belives to be his soulmate, or more accuretly, a woman who dosen't belive he is a creepy wierdo who shouldn't be treated with romance in fear of awkward situations. *sniffle*. Ummmm lets move on!

Love interest (rival character): Ummmm dunno. *Shrugs apolegeticly*

Secondary Character (serious): Sorrykid, the serious possible pervert! So serious! And I'm talking very serious! In fact ultra epic-sized serious!

Secondary characters (best friend): Cobdogred (against his own choice), Thelostone10 (against her own choice), Sleepy (against his own choice), and ofcourse who could forget, a wierd bloke with an oversized moustache, possibly named Sir Hashenflinten III esquire.

Sensei character: Redmerv and Gael, the pair taking turns to attempt to to teach our easily distracted hero the lessons of power, bravery, grammar, rocket science, cooking, moderating forums, and possibly how awesome ponies are, against there better judgement and will.

Secondary character (mysterious): James D. Cook and Dastard, Ooooh! So mysterious! For full details, rate mysteriousness with the rate of Sorrykid's seriousness.

Comic reliefs: (give three names): Thor, Blitx, and Karasu (the crow), are rather humourous fellows, infact probably do alot better than the main character in dishing out the giggles. Hmmmmmmmm. Lets hope the producers don't replace him with one of these three.

Reoccurring villain: Youri, for he is in fact an evil villian of epic proportions, or at least according to his blog and buissness cards. It also says on his blog he's off to Portugual soon. How nice.

Tougher villains: Maxulus and Genshi, for they know of dangerous and deadly techniques that were wiped from existence to avoid harm to all of the universe! And they don't like caramel shortcake, the very essence of goodness itself!

Villain that switches sides: Talhar, the villanous and fickle chap, constantly changing his mind on whether being on the left or right!

Protagonist that switches sides: Nikz 200, constantly indesisive on which side he should join, has noteably reverted through the good side, the bad side, the evil side, the justice side, the cake side, the side window, the sideways walk, the side of many sides, the gray side, the side of no return, the other side of the field and ofcourse the rather daft side.

Boss villain: Frog Dragon, with immense gramatical knowledge, the abillity to be a boss and importantly, causing a question on whether he is a frog or a dragon, or possibly both. His evil is only second to a joint first with David Hasselhoff and Walt Disney!

Most outrageous anime appearance: CENSORED FOR THE SAFTEY OF UNIVERSAL EXISTENCE!

One shot filler character: Jinsoku, you constantly and probably eternaly absent person!

Multiple characters which the typist lazily left out: All members of OPRP:RTTHGL, and dear old mum, as well as ofcourse Mister smith from number ten and few mates that wanted in. Oh and some people who make some cartoons and comci books in japan about pirates who eat odd fruit and search for a lump of treasure at the end of some large quantity of water or something like that.
