Name in Japanese: Realm Realm Fruit [天地天地の実: Tenchi Tenchi no Mii]
Capabilities:
Basics: The Realm Realm fruit is used to seal people into an alternate dimension, with mercurial properties. People affected by this ability go by the name 'players', and the fruit user is called the 'programmer'.
Ability 'Appearance': Anyone affected by the fruit usually has the visual effect of breaking into many pieces, and then each piece fazing out of existence in turn. The unique 'realm' produced by the fruit looks like many black boxes adhered together, and they can slide, shatter, split, and generally do whatever to morph into whatever shape the fruit user wants. The 'realm' can be viewed from the outside through a small, rectangular box about ten by five centimeters in size, with a slight border so that the viewers do not have to the 'screen'. When the affected people 'win' the game inside the 'realm', the box shatters, and the inhabitants are returned to reality, reforming out of their shards.
Health: The fruit user may determine whether or not to apply 'health' to the players. This means that the fruit user may make it so that the players have predetermined amounts of health, removed through being stricken, or disobeying rules (covered next section). The options are 'normal health', 'equal health', or 'no health'. 'Normal health' means that the health of the players is based off what it would be in reality. 'Equal health' means that the players are given a certain amount of health apiece, so that they will be able to fight on equal footing. 'No health' means that the players cannot be harmed at all in the realm. Once health hits zero, the zero'ed out player is removed from the realm. 'Normal health' also has two settings: real and false. Real setting means that once health reaches zero and the player is kicked out, the player will feel like he has been beaten to within an inch of death. False setting means that once the player is kicked out, he will feel like he never entered.
Rules: The fruit user can make rules for the alternate dimension, rules that even he himself must follow. These rules can be simple, like, 'You may not strike another player.' or 'The programmer may not be harmed.' Failing to follow these rules, if they CAN be disobeyed, results in a penalty being incurred on the offender, usually consisting of being slowed down, or, in cases of 'health' being used, 'health' being removed. Some rules cannot be combined with 'goals', as this would cause a paradox.
Goals: The programmer can set goals for the players of the alternate dimension, for instance: capture the flag, beat your opponent, find the programmer, tag the programmer, solve the puzzle, those sorts of things. However, as mentioned above, such rules as 'You may not harm another player.' and goals such as 'Beat all other players.' cannot be combined. Once the goals for the realm have been achieved, the involved players are released.
Other Points: The only way to end the effects of the fruit are to reach the 'goal', or to best the programmer whilst in the realm (not easily accomplished). The programmer can freely change the terrain, but only if it would not make the goal unattainable. The outer viewing box cannot be destroyed. The programmer may not materialize objects out of midair inside the realm: all objects must be brought in either by the players or the programmer. The fruit can affect anyone in a 25 meter radius, and only those the programmer decides to include. The programmer MUST ENTER THE REALM in order for the fruit's ability to be effectual, and the programmer can only leave once the goal has been reached.
Warning: Some rules and conditions are impossible from the outset, such as making a player invincible.
