Appearance: Hughes stand about 5'9. He has hazel hair that is held in a long pony tail held by a pin. When its not in a pin his hair falls down to his knees. His eyes are gray. Hughes dresses like a sterotypical pirate. He wears a blue shirt with white pants held by a red slash, and wears brown worn boots. His body is in pretty decent shape. He is not muscular, but he is also not a slob or a weakling either. He is just average strength. Hughes wears three rings on his right eyebrow, and is always smoking a cigar.

History: Hughes was born from two slaves in Tequila where a large bridge was being constructed for the nobles for the past 700 years. His parents trying to spare their child the life they knew. They figured that leaving their child's destiny up to fate was much better than having his life choosen for him as a slave. They secrety stowed their baby in a basket, and put him in the sea letting the tides carry him away from shore. They bid their last farewell to their child as the basket floated away. The basket floated for three days on the sea before a ship managed to spot. The Drunkyard Pirates managed to lift the basket from the sea using a long pole to lift the handles of the basket. Captain Hector and his was surprised to find a baby in the basket(they were expecting gold). Captain Hector thought that this was no short of a mircale that this child survived. He knew it would be ashame to let this kid die after being abandoned at the mercy of the sea. Captain Hector decided to adopt the child as his own son. Growing up on a pirate ship was tough for Hughes. The pirate crew had no idea on how to take care of a child. If it wasn't for Mama Jug, Hector lover, Hughes would have died before learning how to walk. Jug took care of hughes as a baby until he reached five. Then hughes had to go through training to become a pirate. He was forced to a series a chores everyday, and fight for his own food. The Drunkyard pirates had this one rule if you don't work you don't eat. Hughes was expected to do the same amount of work as the rest of the crew who were strong hardened men. He had to lift heavy objects, train how to use a sword, and hold his own against the elements. This made hughes a strong man when he grew up. Seeing that Hughes was a grown man, they gave him a opinion he could join their crew as full crew mate or leave to start/join a crew of his own. Hughes grew to see the drunkyard pirates as a sort of family. As such could not join them while fully performing his duties as a pirate. The pirates threw him a party as a farewell gift.

Personality: Hughes is calm leveled head guy who always can find the brighter side of things. He is rarely seen without smiling or cracking a joke. Hughes passion is eating, sleeping, and drinking. Hughes lives by a code of honor. Never attack the innocent, never strike while an opponent is down, and always obey your captain. Besides that Hughes is pretty much care free in his life doing whatever he pleased. Hughes can never refuse an adventure no matter how stupid or dangerous it is. Unlike most pirates who aims at becoming pirate king for the power and fame, Hughes is actually content being an unknown pirate. He wants to help find the treasure because of the adventure that would come on the journey. This doesn't mean that he would pass up the opportunity to steal treasure if it became avaiable. It just means that money is not his top piorty. He loves weapons particularly swords. He hopes to
