| Name: Reina Epithet: Fairy Feet Reina Titles: None Age: 18 Bounty: 0 Species: Human Occupation: Musician Allegiance: Pirate Position: Entertainer of the Smooth Hip Pirates Home Village/Ocean: West Blue Appearance:- "Picture Gallery - Reina":
History: Reina was born in Ilusia Kingdom in West Blue, eighteen years ago. For one reason or another, Reina's parents could never get her to wear shoes. When she was a baby, she was always barefoot and when she grew a little older and they tried to put shoes on her she began crying and wouldn't stop crying until they took the shoes off. Hence, going out in public shoeless had the effect of shaping and strengthening the girl's feet more than the average person. For the most part of her life, she grew up a fairly normal child, with her father being a rock musician. Reina, who was gentle in nature, disliked her father's choice profession and more importantly, the music that he played. As she grew, she got more annoyed by the useless screaming and the fact that things like that were even called music. She used to go out in the Ilusia forests to relax, to hang with the beautiful sounds and soothing touch of the place, deeming it true music. One day, 12-year-old Reina fled into the forest from a gang of bullies, one of whom she badmouthed after he said how her father was a hundred times more awesome than she could ever be. In the forest, she hid inside a cave. When she was inside the cave, she strangely heard the sounds of dripping water, and other natural sounds. She followed the sounds and found a chest in the middle of the cave, which contained a silver flute that she soon discovered, allowed her to play the sounds of nature as if they were music. However, the bullies figured out where they were and entered the cave, and Reina was seemingly cornered. Scared at first, the blue-haired girl saw that most of them were tired from the overworking she had given them, and equally mad. She also realized she couldn't really struggle her way out of this; her hands were preoccupied with her newly discovered flute and she didn't want it to get damaged. It was then that an ingenius idea hit her. That was the birth of the Fairy Feet Style, though back then they were a simple kicking style that did damage to her opponent's due to the strength packed in her tough feet. When she beat up the bullies, she realized how tired she was and decided that she was going to turn this new fighting style of hers into something that hurt her opponent a lot more than it hurt her, without even making them aware of it. To accomplish this, Reina began her five year long private training. She wholly developed the style by herself; first she made her feet strong enough to be able to create vacuum blades and shockwaves like she had seen all the really strong people do with their swords and fists, respectively. Then she learned to compress it, and control it. Control was the hardest part that occupied most of her time, but soon enough, she learned to control the shockwave zone she created underneath her feet to the extent that she could actually generate so minute amounts of it so as they're not visible, and by simply brushing her feet across anything, she could cause damage to it from the inside that would only be apparent a short while after the actual attack. Meanwhile, her parents had been killed in the coup against Queen Joanne by her evil perverted Vizier, and although she supported Queen Joanne, she did not join her forces. She wanted to settle the score with the new "King", but she wanted to do it at her own pace, by herself. She did not want the help of the old Queen, so she watched from the sidelines until the moment came. The moment, of course, being when the Smooth Hip Pirates entered Ilusia Kingdom... Personality: Very much like her fighting style, Reina is graceful and efficient. Her calculating demeanor during fights allows her to stay completely calm and in control in most situations, and she is not easily surprised or caught off-guard. However, her cool and lone demeanor often forces her to hide her personal troubles even from her friends. She never opens up her heart and has difficulty making friends, though once she does, as with the Smooth Hip Pirates, she will go to every length to protect or help them. Due to having never dreamed of or even paying much attention to life on the seas, she is clueless about the ways of Pirates. She knows very little of the Grand Line or of any other such places and often expresses surprise upon arriving at a strange place. A running gag about her is that she often does not notice things like pit holes or manholes, falls in them, gets hurt and then continues to walk as if nothing happened. It often needs another crewmember to get her attention and tell her that she's separated from them, to get her to realize that fact. Ship: Queen Joanne's Revenge Ship Flag: Jolly Roger of the Smooth Hip Pirates Devil Fruit: Fuwa Fuwa no Mi - Float-Float Fruit Type: Paramecia Effect: The user becomes a Floatwoman, granting them the ability to control as well as bypass gravity, in which Reina can control herself and objects (non-living things) and make them levitate after touching them once, regardless of how heavy they are in reality. Special Abilities:Musical ExpertiseBeing an entertainer, Reina's devotion to music not only helped her to pass the lonely days but also serves as a combat tool. Most of the techniques that she deals out are named after or related to music. Due to her musical background, Reina also moves according to the rhythm of music to assist her in battle. For this reason, her and her Captain Pascia have made a perfect tag-team duo - Reina's music and Pascia's dancing make them formidable enough to make what is called the Silver Pair. Reina's main musical instrument of choice is a flute, though its a very special flute. Reina had always been one to prefer nature over the artificial music of men. She can play normal flute music as well, but most often she uses her Special Flute to mimic the sounds of nature. Fairy Feet StyleReina's own fighting style is the Fairy Feet Style, named so because while primarily being a kicking style, it takes minimal effort on Reina's part to use the style. She prefers to use a kicking style because she needs her hands to play her music; however, she still uses the hands for supportive moves like handstands, flips and other tumbling moves also part of this style. Instead of landing full force kicks, Reina simply needs to touch her target's body parts with her soles or toes, and release bursts of energy from the touched the points. Each 'tap' in this way deals internal damage to an opponent, without doing any sort of easily visible outward damage. Often, the opponents who are not so good at observing their own bodies do not even notice that they are injured and thus continue to damage themselves further by continuing to fight. It all comes back to be a pain in the ass once significant internal damage is done, and the opponent begins to feel the effects in the form of a sudden burst of severe pain, or incapacitation of a body part, et cetera. Thus, the style's emphasis is on conserving energy - which Reina does by not wasting an ounce of energy on hitting an opponent, only making her feet connect with them - to outlast an opponent until enough damage is done to take them out. This fighting style of hers is the main reason she does not wear shoes, as they hinder her capacity to perform this. Cursèd FruitReina's third main ability is her Cursèd Fruit, the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi. However, having just consumed it, the woman does not really know how to culminate the fruit to its fullest potential, hence only using it for basic purposes such as levitating herself and minor objects. She can levitate objects to throw at people, but that is quite honestly the extent of how much she can do with it. So far. Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): Due to her occupation as a musician, most of Reina's attacks are named after musical instruments. - Spoiler:
Teatro Type: Offense Range: Melee Effect: N/A | Literally meaning "Theater", Reina flips forth and slams both feet onto her opponent's chest, knocking them to the ground. This is a prerequisite for the El Tambor. | El Tambor Type: Offensive Range: Viewing range Effect: Pain on the chest after 3 turns | Literally meaning "Drums". Reina, surprisingly lightweight due to her Fuwa Fuwa no Mi powers, taps an opponent's chest with the soles of her feet repeatedly at high speeds, as if beating a drum. She then jumps off them. The opponent is seemingly not injured, however, if they aren't wearing a shirt they would notice that the area struck by her feet is becoming bluish. The attack causes internal bruising. 3 posts later, the opponent begins to suffer from intense pain in the chest area. | Helicon Type: Offensive Range: Melee Effect: Pain after 2 turns | Named after the Helicon, a musical instrument worn over the shoulder. Reina aims for a kick at her opponent's shoulder, usually by running at the opponent, leaping and somersaulting into the air and then landing with both feet on the target's shoulder and quickly flipping off. Two turns later, the opponent feels intense pain in the shoulder struck, hindering the movement of that arm. If they are shirtless, they would notice a pink swelling in the area struck. | Tuba Type: Offensive Range: Melee Effect: Stomachache + Gagging | Flipping into a double handed handstand, Reina spins around once and then brushes both feet across the opponent's stomach, before breaking her form and quickly flipping away. 3 turns later, the user begins to suffer from a stomachache. 9 turns later, the target ends up puking out the dish they ate that morning. After that, the attack does not have any more effect at all. | Arpa Type: Offensive Range: Melee Effect: Ankle sprain after 3 turns | Literally meaning "Harp". Reina runs at her opponent and slides down onto the ground, before seemingly swiping her legs at their legs in order to knock them off the ground. Still, she does it from too far a distance away to actually knock down the opponent, but enough to allow her feet to brush against the target's ankle. 1 turn later, the struck area begins to hurt. 3 turns later, it sprains. | Flautín Type: Offensive Range: Melee Effect: Incapacitation of Lower Arm/4 turns | Literally meaning "Piccolo". Charging at her opponent, Reina spots an opening and then strikes the elbow joint, whether exterior or interior, by tapping it with her big toe. 4 turns later, the struck arm from the elbow down limps, unable to be used. | Violonchelo Type: Offensive Range: Melee Effect: Weak, painful knees/2 turns | Literally meaning "Cello", a musical instrument played between the knees. Running at the opponent Reina delivers a sweeping kick to the knee caps, but instead of knocking the opponent down she simply brushes her toes across their knees. 2 turns later, the opponent's knees get weak and begin to shake, unable to properly support their weight. They can still walk, with some discomfort, though running would cause pain. | Antítesis Comportamiento Falta Banda Type: Offensive Range: Melee Effect: Coordination troubles/3 turns | Literally meaning "Behavior Antithesis Kick Band", this is thought to be perhaps Reina's single strongest attack in her Fairy Feet Style. Reina unleashes upon the target a seemingly powerful vertical or horizontal kick (by raising her leg a full 180 degrees or 90 degrees, respectively) aimed at their spinal cord. The opponent, however, is only pushed away a bit from the weight of Reina's foot on their back, and seemingly no visible damage occurs. 3 turns later, the opponent begins to suffer from muscular cramps, periodic loss of limb function and reduced reaction time, along with pain in the area struck. This lasts for 4 posts. For much taller and gigantic targets, Reina usually jumps to the desired height to execute the move. This attack's name is a play-off of the "Behavior Antithesis Kick Course", the strongest attack of the Black Leg Style used by Sea-Cooks. |
