Appearance: Medium lenght hair, purple eyes, wars a gray anorak, black pants and a bracelet in the right arm. Has a tough build, but still thin. Wears a necklace with a weird crystal that changes color with the mood he is, given to him by his mother. He has small ears and thin lips. He has a big nose, not fat. He wears leather shoes and has an earing in the left ear lobe. This earing is made of gold and a saphire, a small one, very small, but shiny. The bracelet in his arm is made of some kind of vegetal fiber, it has wax over it so it happebs npthing to it when it gets wet, it has the design of a dolphin in the ocean.
History: Ryou's parents were killed by the marines because they thought they were helping the pirates when he was 5 years old. After that, he went to the ocean and lived in different pirate ships. When he was 12, he killed a marine to steal a box he had in which Ryou thought he had treasure but it had a weird strawberry in it, when he ate it he got the powers of the Hie Hie no mi. (Ice Ice Fruit). He got a bounty of 20, 000 belli after that. Ryou is constantly looking for treasure, he visited lots of islands in East Blue to see if there was treasure in them. He got the bracelet in his arm from a girl in Dawn Town, they were very good friends when his pirate crew stopped at the island. He has practiced lots of fighting styles while fighting marines, other pirates and bountry hunters. Learnt how to cook in the different pirate ships he was in.
He entered the granline and almost was killed by some strong bandits at Cactus Island where the crew he bolonged to was killed, Ryou and some other people left from the crew had to battle some bandits and kill them, they looked for the leader of the bandits and killed him in revenge for their lost friends. Then, he travelled to Little Garden, he found a group of pirates that told him that the waiting time to get out of Little garden was one year unless you had an eternal post. He was trapped in that island, killing giant dinosaurs and some creatures there. He waited there one year, socializing with this pirate crew that had landed there the same day that him and getting food together. Then they decided to go together to the next island, they travelled together to the Drum Empire, where Ryou is at the moment trying to learn new recipes for his recipe book.

Personality: He gets annoyed very quickly. Likes being surrounded by friends and women. Reacts incstinctly to situations. He likes food a lot, he is a big eater and he likes learning lots of new recipes. He has a very good sense of direction. He likes to annalyze the situation he and his crew are going through and usually comes up with some crazy and improbable ideas. He thinks that food is very important for everyone and doesnt allow anyone to say bad things about his delicious food without kicking his butt. He has very good fushing abilities and usually he is either chatting with his crewmates or reading recipies on his room.

-Hie Hie no Blast: Ryou shoots a blast of icy wind, made of the gas released from ice when it sublimates, it freezes everything that touches it.
-Comet Punch: Ryou hit its foe with a punch, he jumps and then he punches the foe with the power of his muscles and the fall.
-Hie Hie no Wall: Ryou lifts a wall of thick ice to protect him from attacks, this wall can have all forms.
