History: Zigfreed Von Strudel was born in North Blue, on a small island. There, he lived a peaceful life along with his friends. However, ever since he was a child he was dreaming of one thing. He wanted to become a marine and one day protect the world from great evil. He was not the only one planning to do that, though. His little brother, who was named Filibert, also dreamed of that. As the years passed, Zigfreed and Filibert were training more and more. Zigfreed was mastering a unique battling style which would allow him to create shockwaves from anything, even from a cane. On the other side, Filibert was training on something completely different. Unlike Zigfreed, Filibert used a battling style that relied on using the enemy's strength to defeat them by reflecting the attacks back. Although Filibert was lacking the strength Zigfreed had, with that battling style he could defeat many people and overpower them with their own attacks.

As the boys grew up and entered the teen age, they started taking the dream more seriously. The two brothers were training up to the point they could not move every single day and they even started picking up fights with other people to test their strengths. And so, one day a marine happened to see them and decided to take the two brothers with him as his apprentices. Zigfreed, who was 17 years old as well as Filibert who was 15 years old entered the marines and they even started taking missions. For around 3 years the boys were traveling together across the North Blue and with their combined strength they managed to defeat a couple of pirate crews and even get a promotion to Lieutenants.

However, one day, a mission would change the boys forever. The mission was the most important mission they would ever receive. The two brothers and of course the rest of their marine ship had to infiltrate at a pirate hide out of one of the most wanted pirates of North Blue. Although the man was strong, of course he was not as strong as the other pirates that the boys would encounter if they went to the Grand Line. If they did not take that mission they would not understand if they were able to enter the Grand Line or not. And so, they started their mission as their test that would prove their strength.

Everything on the mission was fine. The marines successfully infiltrated the basement after defeating a few members of the pirate's crew. However, as soon as they entered the hideout they were all ambushed by the pirate captain and his crew members. The captain said that he knew about their plan all along and that he would not let them escape. He tricked them into believing they could overpower his forces easily by sending the weakest members to be defeated before the marines entered and so he led them to his hideout in which he had an advantage.

Afterwards, a battle started. Many of the marines were annihilated as well as many of the pirate's crew members. In the end there were only three people standing. One of them was Zigfreed, the second one was Filibert and the third one was the pirate captain. The three of them engaged in a battle. In the begining it looked like the two brothers were about to win. However, for one moment Zigfreed let his guard open. The pirate captain took the chance and revealed a gun. He started laughing as he shot towards the young marine. Zigfreed expected to die. He was not the one to fall, though. His brother was the one to fall instead. He moved right in front of the bullet and so he took it instead of Zigfreed. The young man watched his brother dying because he saved him. Seconds later, the angry marine run towards his enemy and started attacking him with continues Shockwaves from his cane, damaging him to the point that he died. As the sole survivor of the incident, Zigfreed received another promotion. He was the man to carry out the mission after all. However, the loss he suffered was great. His brother died and he could not forget it. It was his mistake for letting his guard off...

Ever since then, Zigfreed trained more and more while he also found and consumed a Devil Fruit. Seeing that he was alone in the world, he started relying on himself solely and so he developed an arrogant personality. Although with the passage of the years he managed to find many loyal subordinates and earn promotions, thanks to his Devil Fruit ability that allowed him to win most of his fights without even receiving an injury, he knew that he had lost the person he valued most in his life. And after that event and up until now, Zigfreed is enforcing the marine law and tries to make himself the strongest marine so that he will not have to be saved by others, while he also wants to show to himself that his brother did not die for nothing at all.

One month after he received his promotion to Vice Admiral, Zigfreed was sent to the Atlantis War in order to assist Admiral Jiper. In the Atlantis War, Zigfreed attacked Maximillion Maimou, the captain of the Avenger Pirates while the latter was fighting some other marines. As he let himself off guard, Maximillion fell to the Vice Admiral's Devil Fruit ability, unaware of his power. Ever since then, Maximillion treats him as his enemy and wants to kill him no matter what. Zigfreed knows how Maximillion feels and is ever since waiting for him to come and battle him... After the Atlantis War, Zigfreed decided to take some days off and so he is now traveling with a cruise ship... However, he does not know that fate has other plans for him and that his encounter with Maximillion is about to come soon.

Personality: Zigfreed has great self-esteem and believes himself to be superior to his enemies. The things that led him into believing that is his Devil Fruit ability, his great strength as well as the fact that he leaves most of the battles without receiving any wounds. He is not a person that can be easily matched and likes refering to others by adding -sama after spelling their names. Also, Zigfreed likes playing games a lot to the point that he can treat a battle as a game. Also, another trait of his personality is that he likes using people and especially his subordinates. However, the way he is using them is not evil at all and does that while knowing that he can protect them.

-Shockwave Smash: By charging his cane with a shockwave, Zigfreed smashes it on his opponent causing a great deal of damage.
-Shockwave Pierce: By charging his cane's edge with a shockwave, Zigfreed pierces through his enemy's body with ease.
-Shockwave Jump: By using a shockwave on the ground with his cane, Zigfreed is reflected to the air. In other words, he jumps high.
-Sleep: Zigfreed looks at his enemy's/enemies' eyes while activating his Devil Fruit ability, making anyone fall asleep.
-Sleep Wave: Zigfreed launches a sleeping wave to his enemy/enemies from his eyes.
-Sleep Song: Zigfreed starts singing a song that is supported by his Nemu-Nemu no Mi abilities, making anyone who is in the radius the song is heard fall asleep.
