The Lysander Triplets

Appearance: Connor is the oldest triplet, the identical twin of Duke. Connor has brown hair which falls down to cover his eyes, which he can somehow see through regardless... His eye color has never been determined, since no one can seem to get him to move the hair away from his eyes. He is well tanned from being out in the sun for practically the entirety of his life. Connor is pretty well built, with well developed and toned muscles. He always wears a short-sleeved orange polo shirt, as well as an odd orange beaded necklace. He has khaki dress slacks and brown athletic sneakers. He is usually seen lugging around a basketball for no adequately explained reason.

History: The Lysander triplets were born and raised on the Korveshen Islands in the Grand Line. The Korveshen Islands were a series of islands located close together, with large bridges extending between them. The Korveshen Islands celebrated athleticism, and as such the triplets engaged in various sports since the time they were five. They were each skilled in most of the sports, however each had their own favorite sport. Connor was extremely good at basketball, Christopher had no peer in mixed martial arts, and Duke could not be beaten in *American* football. The three of them, when not playing a sport, would usually go off and do something with their father, or go and prepare for another game.

The Marines, noticing that the Islands produced many men (and women) capable of holding their own in a fight, decided to use the Islands as a recruitment station. They managed to recruit the triplets when they were about twenty. The triplets’ father, an outspoken pacifist, tried to stop them from joining up, but they figured that they could send their earnings back to their father and make his life easier. They did in fact join the Marines, finding ways to incorporate their hobbies into their method of fighting. In doing so, and by working together as a team, they managed to provide the Marines with a great asset. However, their father was still not happy with their decision to join the Marines, so he tried to hunt them down and get them to change their minds.

However, this turned out to be a poor choice. While he rested on an island in his pursuit of his children, the Lysander patriarch was killed when the village he rested in was assaulted by an unknown group. When his children found out, they leapt to the conclusion that the culprits were pirates. They began finally listening to their father’s message, and now believe that they should destroy piracy in order to return peace to the ocean.

Personality: Connor is the quietest of the triplets, usually only talking to reply to others, talk to his brothers, or provide advice to those who ask for it. In fact, the times he talks the most is when he is getting into some banter or other with his identical twin, which is always the friendliest banter could be. He tends to realize things his brothers don't always, such as rank does not determine danger level. He is respectful (if he ever talks) and he is chivalrous. Connor, like his brothers, highly dislikes hearing the word 'father', and as such will either be thrown into a rage or will grow extremely depressed, depending on the situation. Connor is very proud in his abilities, but not quite to the point of arrogance.

Special Abilities: Connor Lysander has a large amount of upper body strength, so he can heft cannonballs at his opponents with ease. He's pretty flexible as well, but not very much so.

Weapons/Items: He seems to be able to always have a large bag of cannonballs on hand.

Character Flaws: Connor can only fight alongside his two brothers, and if the triplets are separated, they are almost incapable of combat. Connor will also refuse to use anything that releases shrapnel, since he is usually in combat with his two, close ranged brothers.

Home Village/Ocean: Korveshen Islands in the Grand Line

Appearance: Christopher is the middle triplet, and he is the fraternal triplet. Christopher has odd cream colored hair which covers his right eye, but curls away from the left eye. His eyes are a deep blue color, or at least the left one is. His skin is an unusual brownish color, leading him to believe that he was the only one to inherit his father’s skin tone. Christopher is pretty well built, with well developed and toned muscles. He wears a lavender-gray baseball cap on his head, with the brim turned towards the backside. He is also wearing a lavender-gray polo shirt. Like Connor, he wears khaki dress slacks and athletic sneakers, except his are white. He is normally seen with some dumb-bells, but he doesn’t seem to have a reason to carry them around.

He has a friendly, though slightly stuck up, personality, and is not afraid to be up in front protecting others. He enjoys talking with others, if only to enjoy their company. He likes to joke around with his brothers, and he invites others into their sometimes ridiculous discussions. Christopher will not speak for his brothers, as he realizes that they are their own people. Christopher, like his brothers, highly dislikes hearing the word 'father', and as such will either be thrown into a rage or will grow extremely depressed, depending on the situation. Christopher is very proud in his abilities, but not quite to the point of arrogance.

Special Abilities: Christopher is fairly quick and very agile, ducking and weaving to complement his fighting style. He can put a lot of force behind his strikes, enough to punch in a stone wall. In fact, in order to avoid breaking his hand every time he punches something, he needs to wear bronze knuckles.

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): Christopher uses a mixed martial arts fighting style in combat.
1. Three Reps: Christopher punches his opponent in the same location three times in the span of two seconds.
2. Five Reps: Christopher punches his opponent in the same location five times in the span of two seconds.
3. Seven Reps: Christopher punches his opponent in the same location seven times in the span of two seconds.
4. Steal: Christopher slides into his opponent's legs at fairly high speeds in an attempt to kick their legs out from underneath them.

Character Flaws: Christopher has absolutely no ranged attacks, forcing him to move in close to engage his enemy. Christopher can usually only fight alongside his two brothers, and is largely incapable of fighting on his own.

Appearance: Duke is the youngest triplet, and he is Connor’s identical twin. Due to a minor mutation during their development, Duke was born with black hair, which covers both eyes like Connor’s does. Like Connor, no one has ever seen the color of his eyes. He is well tanned from being out in the sun for practically the entirety of his life. Duke is pretty well built, with well developed and toned muscles. He is found wearing a white cap with an *American* football on the front, and he wears a bluish gray polo shirt. Like his brothers, Duke has khaki dress slacks, and in keeping with tradition, he has a different color for his sneakers: black. He carries an *American* football with him for no real reason.

Personality: Duke is rather headstrong, fully confident in his brothers' and his teamwork. As the 'youngest', he is hotblooded and leaps into things without thinking. He often jokingly insults Connor's slow and steady approach to issues, which can lead the twins to argue. However, he likes talking to others just as much as Christopher does, if not more. He will jokingly talk down to people below him, but he can even jokingly talk down to superiors. Duke, like his brothers, highly dislikes hearing the word 'father', and as such will either be thrown into a rage or will grow extremely depressed, depending on the situation. Duke is very proud in his abilities, but not quite to the point of arrogance.

Special Abilities: Duke can take a surprisingly large amount of punishment. His body is also surprisingly tough, allowing him to hit people with it without feeling any whiplash pain.

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
1. Drive: Duke leans forward slightly and turns himself so that he faces his shoulder towards his opponent. He then performs an attack borderlining on a combination of Soru and Tekkai, charging into someone with enough force to send them flying back several tens of meters.

Weapons/Items: N/A

Character Flaws: Duke's method of attack cam leave him open to retaliation, so he needs to team up with his brothers to make up with this flaw. He really can't fight on his own.
