Appearance: Aron is an odd creature, even for a fishman. He has a tough brownish orange hide, and while he has a humanoid head and face, it still resembles a crustacean slightly, in that his face is much flatter, with his lips being more forward. In addition, his arms are mismatched, with his right arm being about the same as a normal human arm, with tougher and different colored hide. However, his left arm is something that is almost just a larger version of the pistol shrimp claw, reaching halfway between his ankle and knee when he stands to his full height. Thus, he only has one hand capable of grabbing things like a normal human.

Aron is in general, fairly large, being about seven feet tall, he is bald, and his face usually appears to be in a dispassionate frown. He usually wears a dark brown fedora on his head, along with a smooth black vest, open at the front. He wears black pants, and no shoes. He also carries no visible weaponry.

History: Aron comes from the bottom of west blue, having lived near and under a marine base for most of his life. There was a whole colony of fishmen there, of various different types. They rarely had trouble from above, and mostly, the colony kept to themselves, living, hunting and dwelling in the bottom of the sea. However, they knew rumors about the decadent society above, and they knew some of the most terrible people in the world lived and rules above high. This knowledge didn't much affect him though, and Aron pursued his hobbies, and lived out life in the colony, becoming an excellent shooter with his natural weapons simply because of his much-loved hobby.

He was about 16 when the world nobles came to visit, and decided to go hunting for the fishmen who had been rumored to live around the base. While most of the time, the fishmen had had no trouble from the marines above, the unquestioned rule of the world nobles drove them to hunt the fishmen down in the waters for sport and slaves. Aron was among the ones attacked by marines. He was a better fighter than most, and slew many before escaping the chaos. However, many of his friends and loved ones were taken that day.

He left the devastated colony, the fishmen of the settlement scattering all over the seas, for it was no longer safe in their birthplace. Aron became a pirate, it becoming a natural choice for someone who hardly cared enough to actively oppose the marines on a political scale, but who had a small bounty for resisting and killing the marines and just plain didn't like the government. He prowled the west blue, his distinctive face leading to him being noted for his small bounty rather often, and his growing skills and increasing body count, and general opposition of the government gave him more.

He quite misses the company of his friends back home, and after roaming the sea for eight years, has become a formidable, if still unimportant pain in the government's butt. He has emerged from the sea in the shores of Illusia, looking for a crew.

Personality: Aron has always been a rather focused person (or monstrous shrimp thing), and has always been rather passionate about sharpshooting. It developed as a hobby in the depths of the sea, and turned into a profession. In addition, he can sometimes be apathetic, and prone to saying "blarg" when he simply doesn't care about what is going on.

Even when he does care, he has a tendency of making smartass jokes, and being generally sardonic towards people. He does this via his rapier wit, which he often has trouble keeping under wraps. This contrasts with his hulking and dull appearance, causing his first annoying comment to come completely out of the blue. Still, he can be a fairly pleasant person if one gets over the bad first impression.

Aron thinks poorly of the world government, who often discriminate against his kind. This, and other factors have led him to piracy, and he does not intend to change his profession.

Special Abilities
Sharpshooting
Aron is an excellent sharpshooter, having done is since he was old enough to snap his claw properly. He prefers his natural weaponry however. His eyesight and general aiming skills are good enough to get the hang of pretty much any weapon that can be used to shoot at things.

Snapping claw
Aron's most powerful weapon is his left arm. Specifically, his highly specialized crablike claw. It can snap it shut in the merest fraction of a second, generating a popping a cavitation bubble or simply one of highly pressurized air, created by the snapping motion of his claw. This generates a bright flash, though one gone too fast for all but the most observant of eyes to see, as well as acoustic pressures capable of killing with internal damage, and possesses power beyond human firearms. He has great control of his power, allowing him to focus it at long distances. The claw can also be used in melee, though actually managing to snap it on someone is not the easiest maneuver to make. However, such an attack is devastating due to the sheer power of the claw. Finally, the incredible force of the snapping claw heats up the cavitation bubble by immense amounts, a trait which he has learned to utilize.

Physical qualities
Aron is superhumanly strong, a lot of it borne from his fishman heritage. His claw in particular has explosive power. He is also quite fast, though lacking the ability to blink out of sight or do other feats of speed thought of as superhuman. In addition, he has excellent reflexes. Finally, his hide dulls the impact of blows and turns away weak attacks.

Learned Techniques
Heat Claw: Aron utilizes the force of his snapping claw in melee by snapping it as he bludgeons someone, releasing heat, which, while dissipating in very short order, can leave nasty burns. Due to his tough hide and acclimation, he is immune to his own ability.
Acoustic Blast: Aron uses his snapping claw to fire a conical blast of sonic shockwave, blasting things at a 30 degree angle from his claw on all sides. While this attack will likely hit, it is not as damaging as his other options.
Acoustic Bullet: Aron focuses his sonic shockwave into a piercing, direct motion, acting much more like a bullet. This causes a much greater amount of damage than Acoustic Blast, but can hit less targets, and is easier to avoid

• Subsonic Snipe: This ability functions like Acoustic bullet, but requires intense concentration to get the motion right. However, it negates the inherent loud sound of the claw, making it viable for sniping from afar by causing the sound to exist at frequencies impossible for human or fishman ears to hear.
