Appearance: Maylen stands about 5'4 weighing about 116 pounds. She has green skin, and black hair. She has a slim curvy figure, but a well built body having decent muscles on her arms. There are gills located on her neck. Maylen wears a blue t shirt with a long red skirt with white flowers all over it. She also has three golden braclets on her right arm.

History: Maylen was born on fisher island where her father owned a dojo teaching young students the ways of fishman karate. Maylen grew up wanting to learn the arts from her father, but was refused claiming that she couldn't learn because she was a girl. Maylen then had the learn how to cook from her mother. Though she loved cooking, Maylen wanted to learn how to fight. Then at the age of 10, Maylen and her family were attacked by a group of slavers. Her father's students tried their best to defend the dojo, but they couldn't stop them from capturing Maylen's mother. The slavers got away with maylen's mother, and she could do nothing about it. Maylen cried for the loss of her mother. This incident changed something inside of Mayla. She no longer wanted to be weak and helpless. Maylen demanded that her father teach her how to fight, or she would leave the island. Maylen's father seeing that she was serious agreed to train her. He first warned her that his other students would tease and pick on her if she became his student. Maylen didn't care. After rigours hours of training Maylen soon became a excellent user of fisherman karate. The other male students soon began pulling pranks on Maylen just as her father predicted. The pranks became so bad that she left the school. Maylen wrote her father a note saying that she was leaving to find her mother. From that point on, Maylen has been sailing the seas alone searching for her missing mother.

Personality: Maylen is a typical teenager who loves money and shopping. She is very carefree not having a care in the world. This makes her very naive to the dangers of the grand line. Maylen is also very optimistic never looking at the cup half empty which can get on people's nerves sometimes. Overall Maylen carries a innocent almost childlike attitude about things which shows her immaturity. Cooking is maylen's favorite pastime besides shopping. It reminds her of being with her mom when she cooks. Maylen also loves to fight. It reminds her of training with her dad which was fun for the most part. Maylen bears a strong haterd for slavers and even most pirates for their constant attacks on fishman island.

3) Judo Chop: A electric chop to the body which can stun the body with electricty
4) Samehada Shōtei: A simple palm block with enough force behind it to slap away a sword swing
5) Kaimen Wari (海面･割り, Sea Surface Splitter?): Using a karate chop, the user can split the very ocean itself in order to send a shock wave to attack an enemy.
6) Appakushi Chokka Kōro: Done underwater, the user grabs his opponent then swims extremely fast to the ocean floor where the pressure of the ocean wreaks havoc on the opponent's body.
