Serious: Crimson Pirates Chapter 1: The Crew's forming

Shinji walked down a path a mile out from the dock that held his ship the Azure Phoenix with a small bag of supplies and his sword. He started to think about what he would do and decided if he was going to become a pirate he would need a strong first mate to begin with. He wanted a swordsman for a first mate because he held swordsmen in high regard due to his up bringing. When he was near the ocean line he saw a man around his age sitting staring out at the ocean and decided to go over and speak with him before his departure. Shinji walked up to the man and stood beside him, he looked out to the ocean like the man was doing for a while before speaking. "Hello there what brings you this far out of the city?"

Genichi heard the man beside him and saw him without turning his head from the ocean view. "Just waiting for a time to get off this damned island, you?"

"I'm heading out to get my freedom." He responded to the man. Shinji then glanced down and saw that the man had a sword a unique one that Shinji found fascinating. "You're a swordsman right? Or is the sword for show?"

Genichi laughed "Who carries around a sword for show? But yes i am a swordsman why do you ask?"

Without saying a word Shinji drew his long sword form its sheath and swung it's gleaming blade at the man who was sitting down.

Genichi grinned and jumped up fast swinging his blade to meet his opponents while laughing lightly "So it is a fight you want?"

Shinji smiled at his opponent. "That depends on how strong you are." Shinji pulled back and swung again matching every sword swing his opponent threw as well as his opponent matched his. He jumped back and sheathed his sword waiting for his enemies next move.

Genichi jumped back a little bit then ran forward as fast as he could "Speed Slash!" Mizaki aimed at his opponents right shoulder ready to render it unusable.

Shinji barley able to keep up with his speed drew his sword just enough to guard where he thought his opponent would attack. The attack landed on his right shoulder but he was able to reduce the damage enough to make it so his shoulder would not give out. "Very good I almost wasn't able to even block some of the damage." Shinji said drawing his sword once again. "Looks like i'll have to fight seriously. Wind Cutter!" Shinji swung his sword horizontally in a swift motion sending a large wave on compressed razor sharp air at his opponent.

Genichi grinned as he jumped into the air barely avoiding the compressed air shot at him as it cut up the bottom of his feet. While in the air Genichi moved to where his blade would come down right on his opponent "Ground Breaker!" Genichi said as he came down towards the earth at an incredible speed carrying momentum behind him aiming to crush his opponent with this one move.

Shinji smiled at the mistake his opponent made. He took his sword and parried his opponents blade. Locked in a strength conflict he then pushed his blade up and with it knocked his enemy back. "In terms of speed i'll give you the advantage but in terms of strength you cannot equal me." Shinji then sheathed his sword yet again. "It's time to show you the Crimson Death." He lowered his stance as he prepared for his attack. He knew the attack mainly depended on speed but he was confident the strength he put into it would be too much for his opponent. He sped towards his opponent and drew his blade he swung his sword and sheathed it all before even he knew what happened.

Genichi brought up his sword as he thought he saw the glimmer of his opponents blade and he was glad he did since the blades clashed and sent Genichi backwards but stopped the attack from damaging him to badly. Genichi laughed loudly at this as he was enjoying the battle and started running as fast as he could around his opponent bring up the dirt from the ground hiding as to where he actually was.

"A little cat and mouse game huh. Not my cup of tea I would rather not destroy this landscape but this better be headed somewhere or thats what will come." Shinji said still waiting for his opponent to make his move.

"Twister!" Genichi came from right behind his opponent spinning like a tornado with his sword slashing everything that gets in his way.

Shinji turned around as the twister like attack struck him ripping most of his kimono. He was cut all around his body but was able to stop it from striking his vital organs. "You're quite strong it has been a while since anyone has landed as many strikes on me as you have. As much fun as this has been it's time for the end of it." He jumped in the air and put both hands on his sword. "Crimson Rain." He then used Wind Cutter multiple times sending many waves of compressed air crashing down into the landscape heading towards his opponent. As the strikes hit the ground chunks of the earth flew into the air. "As that should be it." Shinji said as he descended.

Genichi grinned up while on one knee with his shirt and jacket completely ripped off from the wind that was sent at him. Genichi was seen after the dust moved away holding his sword vertically in front of his face stopping the wind from hitting him in the throat or most of his face. Genichi had cuts all over his upper body and parts of his face but he laughed as he slowly stood up. "It's been quite a while since I've had to block an attack from hurting me to badly. But to bad for you that was not it and I'm still able to continue this fight." Genichi at this point ran as fast as he could straight at his opponent hoping that his speed after being hit by his attack would surprise his opponent as he slashed multiple times aiming for his opponents stomach, neck, left shoulder, and a slash at both of the legs.

Shinji saw the man with more clarity than he did before. He parried most of the attacks getting caught once that made him suffer a cut across the chest. Shinji heavily injured after the battle knew his opponent was also and wanted to end the fight soon. "How about we end this fight right now stranger?" He asked bloodied and close to his limit.

Genichi was breathing harder and harder as more blood spilled from his multiple wounds but he kept his hands on his swords still grinning. "I think so, but first i want to know something. You are from the Kureno clan aren't you?" Genichi already knew the answer to his question since he had fought fought many from the Kureno clan but this time his opponent seemed to have added a twist to the normal clans members he had fought used.

"Yes what of it?" Shinji wondered why the man wanted to know of his origins.

Genichi gripped his sword tighter "No reason rally it's just taken me several years to find someone in your clan that's a decent swordsman." Genichi crouched down and sprang from his feet running at top speeds zig zagging down the path to his opponent and puts in all the speed and power he could for one last strike "Speed Slash!"

Nakamura sheathed his sword. "Ill admit you are a prodigy in your own right for being a nobody on this island but it's time to end it." He dropped his stance placing his hand over his sword's handle. "Crimson Death!" He charged full speed at his opponent and attacked this time with three swift strikes. The clash again left him uncertain of the outcome as he stood with his back faced to his opponent.

Genichi had his arm raised even with his shoulder with his arm outstretched and his back facing the young Kureno. Genichi still grinning had blood all over his body and slowly fell to his knees then his full body fell onto the ground unconscious.

Shinji grinned he held his swords sheath with his left hand and looked out onto the ocean. "What a lovely view." He was bloodied and felt his consciousness slipping away but resilient as he was he managed to stay awake. He walked over the his enemies body and saw him laying in a pool of blood that was ever growing. Shinji slowly growing worse from the fight picked the man up and hung him over his right shoulder and headed to his boat. Once he was aboard his boat he first treated to the mans wounds with medicine and patched his body up. He also set him up with a basic IV to decrease the pain and that was the extent of his doctoral abilities. He then did the same for himself and after setting sail for whatever island came to him next he sat on the front of the ship in his custom chair he had made that was giant in comparison to others. He sat on the chair looking out into the ocean wondering which event would come next, him finding the next island or his new passenger waking up.

Genichi slowly opened his eyes and looked around confused as to where he was. Genichi pulled out the IV that was in him and stood up slowly but fell to the floor soon after.

Shinji walked in the room and saw the man on the ground. He stared at him for a while before laughing at him. "Get back in bed you're weak right now." He grabbed him by a jacket he dressed him in after he was patched up and tossed him back in the bed. "You'll die if you move around too move the wounds are fresh and my horrible stitches probably wont help all that much if you are a pain."
