Appearance: Zaine is an incredibly tall man, standing at the daunting height of 7 foot, but although he was tall, he only appeared to be moderately muscular, appearing to be more of a slim youth than a bulky menace, mostly due to his muscles being shrouded by his clothing, however, taking light of him based on his appearance is a mistake many pay with their lives. Zaine sports medium blonde hair that frequently covers his eyes, although he could sweep it to the side, his skin was slightly pale, and the expression on his face is usually that of calm, collected ones. The Young man wore loose trousers with the ends tucked into his worn out black, shin length boots. He wore a dark blue tattered, unbuttoned shirt, and draped a White captain’s jacket, similar to the admirals’ coats but instead donning his pirate flag on the back. His trousers were held up by a black sash, which also held the sheath for his sword. The stare which the Blonde produced often struck fear into the hearts of his enemies. Zaines’ menacing eyes were often depicted as the eyes of the demon.
History: Zaine was born on a peaceful place known as Dawn Island, where everyone was welcoming, hard working and determined, however, around the time that Zaine was 5, a great evil approached the land, not one which you may believe, it was not pirates, but marines! Corrupted to the core, these tyrannical marines pillaged the land of its beauty and wealth, forcing the villagers to pay or else be arrested, and further more, crushing the hopes and dreams of all that had them, all seemed lost until one day, another ship arrived on the island, this time the ship was not donning the flag of the marines, but the flag was infact that of pirates! Zaine, being 6 at the time thought that things would get worse, which was until Mace D. Blaze, the captain of the Brilliant Blaze Pirates, saw that the marines had robbed the land of its essence, feeling that it was wrong of them, he confronted the Corrupt Vice admiral, and an epic battle ensued, many villagers were caught in the attack but the Pirates had tried to save them, what an ironic yet ugly sight it was, Zaine, of course, was at the heart of the battle as well, being caught between gun fire and sword swings, barely escaping with his life, a rear admiral, seeing the opportunity to satisfy his thirst for blood, tried to strike at the boy, but in the nick of time, The captain had jumped in the way and took the attack. Zaine had thought that it was over…however! The captain was very much alive, despite taking a slash on his body, he roared the words which he thought no Pirate would say, “I will never let you crush this peaceful land! So long as I can draw a single breath in my body”, and with that, led the battle and eventually killed the corrupt vice admiral. Though further increasing his infamy by killing a vice admiral, he would have done it again if it meant protecting that which he cared for. The Captain knew that although he had saved the island, if he were to leave, other corrupt marines, or even pirates would try and plunder once again, so as a result, he claimed the island as its own! not only securing a haven to stop to whenever they needed to, but also ensuring that no other pirate crew would dare to cause harm to the island and its people, from that day on, the boy idolized that one pirate and realized that not all pirates were bad, as of which, decided to become a pirate.
When Zaine turned 12, he decided it was time to depart the island and start his own adventures, setting off to find a crew of his own, in his little boat, following the advice given to him by the Captain about always being careful and prepared. 3 days after his journey, the Blonde had been lost at sea, cold, alone, hungry, he thought he was going to die, until he spotted an oddly shaped item bopping on the sea, hoping it was food, he mustered as much strength as he could in order to sail towards it, after reaching it, he picked it up, not knowing what it was and not really caring, took a bite from it, not minding the bad taste at all, ate it whole, then drifted off to sleep.
When the Blonde woke up, he found himself ashore some unknown island, although not hungry or tired anymore, he was still cold, so he decided to venture into the island to find some warmth, however, what he found was not warmth, it was pirates, about 3 or 4, all harassing a small boy about where the nearby village was so they may cause havoc, that, the Blonde could not allow, tired or not! Zaine Confronted the pirates, and asked to leave the boy alone, however they did not comply, instead, they punched the boy and then ran towards the Blonde in an attempt to attack him, the blonde, in a fit of rage, punched the first pirate square in the face, however, something was wrong, the very ground shook as he did so, a crack appeared on the pirates face, before disappearing and shifting the lowly pirate back, dealing devastating damage to him. The Blonde looked at his hand and then at the unconscious pirate that laid before him, he wondered what that attack was, and how he obtained it, but then he remembered…that strange fruit which he consumed not long ago, perhaps it was one of the fabled fruits of the devil, thought the blonde, though not for long as he fought the last 3 pirates, defeating them all with little effort thanks to his fruit. The boy was so thankful for the Pirates intervention, that he brought him to the village; he was welcomed with open arms! He was given plenty of food for the journey, new clothes, and a place to stay for a night or two.
The villagers were so grateful for defeating those pirates that the local blacksmith offered to make him a weapon, so that he could fight to his fullest, accepting, the blonde received a powerful saber shortly after, finely crafted to be able to withstand quite a lot of punishment and cut through most materials, surely this blade will aid the blonde well! After a few days, the blonde decided to set out to sea, but was stopped by the elder, who told him to take the large ship which he spent 10 years working on yet never once trying out, the Blonde gratefully thanked the man and went off on his journey, this time being prepared with a bigger ship known as the “Lions Pride”, new clothes, a lot of food supplies, and a weapon, now all that was left to do, was to master his new found abilities, and find the crew mates for the soon to be “White Lotus Pirates”
On his travels, the Blonde met quite a few interesting people, even finding a crew mate named Beck, who was considered an excellent navigator and marksman, together, they continued to sail the seas in order to find more nakama to help conquer the grand line.
Personality: Despite his occupation as Pirate captain, Zaine is quite friendly; welcoming anyone who he believes is his friend. The Pirate captain is also very strong willed, and will continue to fight for what he believes in so long as he can muster up a single breath. The captain is also very protective of his crew, if any one of his crew is harmed, he will hunt down the perpetrator and make sure he or she pays. At happy times, the captain is quite lazy, not wishing to do much other than sit around and drink sake, but in other times, he will fight for all he’s worth.

Effect: Using the powers of the Gura Gura No Mi, Zaine is capable of conjuring up large quakes that have the power to rip the ground or sea apart, creating earthquakes or Seaquakes, Zaines cunning mastery of this destructive fruit allows him to create cracks in the air in order to deal monstrous damage to his opponents, even being able to harness the Guras power in his sword

Quake: By harnessing the powers of the Gura Gura No Mi, Zaine can pull the very air to create a crushing earthquake to either separate him from enemies or to stop an attack, the tremor caused by this attack can be used to obstruct the movements of his foes, although this tremor only lasts for 3 posts, allowing him full mobility in this time and making it easier to hit foes whilst they are obstructed.
Quake Fist: By utilizing his devil fruit powers, he can deliver a powerful Gura punch which will form a crack on the opponent’s body, or the very air, this crack will disappear, sending a shockwave in the direction of the punch or to that part of the body, certainly a deadly attack indeed.
Quake Kick: By kicking the air or an opponent, Zaine is capable of utilizing his Gura powers in order to create a crack on the person or in the air, creating the same effects as the Quake fist.
Quake Bubble: Zaine is capable of creating a Quake bubble around his opponents, his weapons or merely in his hand, capable of emitting a crushing effect similar to being struck by a magnitude 10 earthquake, if used on his sword, the quake will be emitted outwards, but on opponents, inwards to leave devastating effects on whatever being is unfortunate enough to be within the bubble.
Quake Bubble throw: By harnessing a quake bubble in his hand, Zaine is capable of throwing a small yet highly powerful bubble at his opponents in order to detonate and send them crashing backwards, capable of doing large scales of damage but requires a lot of focus to conjure up.

Quake Slash: By harnessing the powers of his Gura into his sword, Zaine is capable of emitting a large shockwave in whatever direction the blade swings, capable of toppling multiple enemies or crush the landscape.
Full power swing: By harnessing his already immense physical strength, Zaine uses both hands to deliver a crushing strike towards his enemies, capable of destroying buildings and slicing through steel. .

Goals: Zaines Initial Goal is to become Pirate King so he may start a new era, but in order to do that, he must first conquer the grand line.
