Appearance: Simo is 6’ 5” tall and has an extremely well built physique. He has long flowing green hair that he usually keeps under his marine cap. He does not have any facial hair, but he does have a large scar running across his face. It goes from his left temple across his left eye and down to his right cheek. He wears a standard commander’s uniform.

History: Simo was born to a long line of Naval Officers. His father was a Rear Admiral. Simo was trained at an early age to become a marine. When he was ten he began weapon training with toraidento tokushu. His father believed that a man and his weapon should become one. In order to do this Simo was given a training model of toraidento tokushu that didn’t have the seastone. He trained with his father for 8 years, becoming familiar with the unique style of wielding toraidento tokushu.

When Simo was 18 he was enlisted in the Navy. He quickly worked his way through the ranks and had become an officer by the age of 20. During the celebration Simo’s father presented him with a strange looking fruit. It turned out to be an unknown devil fruit. Simo was given the fruit to become stronger and reach a rank that even his father didn’t achieve. After eating the horrible tasting fruit Simo noticed that a lot of water was coming off his body. He thought he had ate the no Mi. Under his father’s guidance Simo learned how to control his new found powers. Which were to generate jet streams from his body.
When Simo was 25 his father was killed trying to defend an island from a pirate attack. When his remains were sent back to the family Simo was devastated. He wondered how such a strong man could be defeated by anyone. His father’s death bred a hated of pirates in Simo and he worked even harder in the Navy. He was given a bit of Roukiski training but only learned Kami-e before having to go back to sea. When he was 29 Simo had worked his way up to being a Lieutenant. Simo is still trying to become an Admiral and avenge his father’s death at the hands of priates.

Personality: Simo is very patient. He likes to take his time and make sure everything has been done right. When he is set on a task he will not waver from it until it is completed. When not on a task he likes to go with the flow. He doesn’t like to get into arguments or talk about his beliefs. He is not prone to anger and lets any emotion just slip off him. The only time Simo breaks his calm demeanor is when he is fighting pirates. Pirates killed his father and because of that, Simo can be ruthless against them.

what mechanism allows him to do it?

I was going off that he could generate the jet streams from anywhere on his body. So he would actually create a sonic boom by moving air currents faster than the speed of sound all around him.
