Appearance: He is 6,8 and towers over his younger brother , who is only 5,10. He is bald, with a long white beard, and has robes covering his body, which although he is elderly, his body is very muscular. He also has brown eyes, which are dark, while his brother’s are light brown.

History: Young Richard, was living a good life, and at 14, had managed to help his father, and the local men in his village, hold off a pirate invasion. But his father was injured in the attack and couldn’t work so Richard had to support his parents, and his brother..named Thomas, who his family had adopted before Rich’s father was killed. To Richard, his younger step-brother was the kindest child in the world, and would never even harm a fly. But that all changed, when Tom turned 13 and killed their mother and father. Richard was shocked, and couldn’t believe that his innocent younger brother was capable of such acts. But even though being younger, and having the advantage of being faster than his now 28 year old brother, Richard still quickly defeated him, but couldn’t kill his brother, who took this chance to run away. Richard then was about to pursuit, when his mother, grabbed his leg, and told him that it was only a mirage, their sweet little Tom couldn’t have done that..”, Those were the last words his mother would speak, as Richard thought about it, and decided that killer was no longer his brother Tom, his name was….Mirage…

Richard left his parent’s corpses were they were slaughtered, as he chased after the now new nicknamed Mirage, only to find that his brother had disappeared, and even the marines, that Richard called, could not find him. Richard would not hear from his brother for over 27 years. But by this time, Richard had gotten his ranks very high in the World Government, and thought that he would never have to see his troublemaking brother ever again, but after hearing about the attack on swordsman Vensi Vundar, by a man who resembled his brother, Richard took full responsibly, to bring his brother to justice.

But Richard had chosen to take the job on himself. Although it took a couple of days, Richard had confronted his brother again, and although he knew that since his brother was 27, and had survived that long being a pirate, his skills were sure to have improved. But Richard began to fight him, thinking that he could beat him easily, only to be surprised, by Mirage’s devil fruit, and although he put up quite a fight, his older brother had beaten Mirage yet again, but 27 years later, he still couldn’t bring himself to kill his brother. This led to Mirage tricking him and escaping yet again.

Of course, Richard’s bosses weren’t happy to hear that Mirage had gotten away again, and now have devoted Richard to searching all over the whole world for him, and only then will he get his rank of Vice-Admiral back then.

Personality: Richard is a very nice person, and is especially nice to those very younger than himself, and will often sit down and tell long stories. But when he gets into battle, he is very serious, and will not hesitate to kill. But when he is fighting his brother, he will often hesitate to deliver the final blow, and doesn’t like hearing his brother be referred to his birth name( Tom)
