Ranyx frowned at the masquerade's oration. "Jim's got a point. The lady does too. Try not disrespecting their memory. Do you know what I did when my..." Shit, shit, shit... he was remembering... the raid. He gripped his head as the images flooded back to him. Jahvieh's last living look at his eyes... The bloodthirstiness of the pirates... their surrounding and murder of Jahvieh. They maimed his corpse and then tried to move on to Ranyx... but he had stopped them. Oh, he had stopped them good. Smashed their faces in, broke their limbs, gutted them with their own weaponry... Oh, and the captain. It was his orders that moved them to kill Jahvieh... His death was particularly well deserved. Ranyx fell to his knees and was forced to grip his head in mental anguish, his apparent age changing rapidly and randomly. He couldn't fight until he'd calmed down. But once he was fine... oh, there would be hell to pay.

((They are conversing with the bandits and Kiana is charging at them at this point. You could make someone to block her from reaching the leader.))

The man with the skull mask was infuriated, but then sneered "I did not expect mere pirates to understand, and you also dare to try and reason with us. This land has been tarnished by outsiders by too long, i have had enough of talking to you, finish them mis amigos, finish them and leave their corpses to rot out here, FOR SANTA GORET!!!!" The bandits around him cheered wildly, fully believing the man in the mask skull. Outsiders understood nothing, on the eve of the butcher, pirates came here to raid the island. Raid the island after it was destroyed? The man in the skull mask, took whatever he could and by himself as all his fellow survivors were mere children back then, he murdered that entire crew who raided his homeland after the horrible event that occurred. He had knew then, that in order to live in peace, all outsiders must be treated with no mercy or sympathy, only the cold and sharp sensation of his machetes.

Satoshi was grabbed , and he knew it. He then ran across, "Looks like he is getting away, that's bad news, but perhaps we should look for the minerals first Kia.." There was now a line of bandits ready to fire with their rifles. Satoshi then dashes in front of Kiana, he saw them fire simultaneously at Kiana and he ran in front and shouted "30 RONIN!!!" The attacks were all blocked under that defensive style. At least now he gave time for Kiana to cut them down.

Jim caught the bottle without turning his head from the bandits. Taking a swig, he smacked his hand against the open air to his left and dropped the bottle thereabouts, which rather than falling to the ground disappeared. Turning his head to the female who'd thrown him the bottle, he gave a quick nod.

"Well, I'm not much for fighting, really. But now that you've bought me a drink I guess I'm to buy you one next, and I've an obligation to make sure that your stomach has few enough holes in it when this is done that it won't all leak out and waste," Jim explained.

This wasn't a storm, but it was still something he could ride on for now. Spreading his arms, Jim fell backwards, the ground splitting open in the shape of his body as he passed through it into the earth door. His silhouette slammed shut behind him, leaving the battlefield empty of him, for the moment.

Some ways behind the bandit, Jim popped up from a second earth door and immediately stepped through the door of air. Standing directly behind the bandit leader, he opened another, smaller door and leaned out, partway.

"So there's really no chance we can get you to consider doing something else then?"

Her eyes blazed with fury as the irreverent coward continued to spew his toxic idiocy. Her eyes were now glowing a fiery red as her vision blurred a bit, vaguely aware of Satoshi countering the promptly fired projectiles from the islands micro-malitia. She left Satoshi's side, sprinting ahead, her scythe spinning as the thermal energy began to rise in the metal. A small trigger was activated dispensing a thin layer of necrotizing venom over the blazing hot blade. She left high into the air, her scythe spinning hard in her landing, cleanly taking of the heads of two men in front of her, the blade continues it's momentum along it's cruel trajectory until it slashed through the chests of two more men.
Only one of the ground level shooters remained in the area. She spun her scythe to tear the firearm from his hands before she walked squarely up to the man and runs her hand over has face quite lightly as she put her scythe away.
"Your turn..."
Suddenly a wicked glow danced in her eyes as she allowed the heat to rise in her hand, melting the skin from his face. Her other hand moved to her hip, grasping her katana as she allowed it to find a nice warm home, nestled in the abdomen of the man. She pulled her katana away and watched as he fell to the ground, gasping and writhing in pain as his final moment reach completion.
She turned back to Satoshi, the demonic red glow melting away from her eyes, quickly replaced by a cool and innocent blue. Her expression softened substantially as she spoke quite gently to him.
"I'm sorry, Bushido... you were saying something?"

Satoshi saw the carnage and then sighed "Now that was very effective, though, celebrations are going to be cut short a bit Kiana," There were more people on the roofs firing shots. Satoshi dashes forward again and this time parried them away. He then turned to Kiana, "How good are you at climbing houses Kiana? Or maybe i should handle this? Damn it!" Satoshi was really pissed now, these bullets just did not end. He then ran forward slicing the bullets as he ran. He dashes up the building , cutting bullets down before they could reach him. When gravity began working against him, he pivoted his leg and jumped to the building wall next to his target, used it as a pedastool for him to jump up. He kept kicking at the walls elevating himself higher. He finally reached the top and the bandits all had a look of pure fear in their eyes. Satoshi then attacked and made sure it was from the front. He then shouted "LIGHTNING STORM!!!!" As if the sound of lightning and thunder, within 30 seconds all 10 bandits on the roof was defeated by a barrage of cuts and precision slicing. Satoshi's eyes, had a look of a rabid beast that would slaughter anything in his path.

She raises a brow as he dashes up the building until he reaches the top, soon out of the sight of her perspective. She hears a bit of a loud clammer, followed by relative silence. She knew that several men had been suddenly cut down by the swordsman. She found it exceedingly amusing that Satoshi though he could just leave her behind and she would she stay put and calmly wait while he took all the fun for himself. She shook her head and mused to herself.
"Silly Bushido."
She took a moment to stretch her acrobatic form before executing several back handsprings, moving away from the edifice, the rapid irritate motions almost impossible for a fire arm to lock onto. She could now see the remaining figures clearly atop the somewhat short and broad structure. The smoothly finished adobe walls with the orangy-red hug had a warm glow in the intense sunlight. She noticed a bit of fresh blood making it's way down the sides of the building like a slowly melting desert candle of death.
She admired the cruel beauty of the spectacle for a fraction of a moment before she took a running start. Her mastery of acrobatics usually came in handing in the most unlikely of situations and this was no acceptation. As she reached the proper distance she spun her scythe in front of her before planting the blunt end of its staff firmly upon the ground, using its exaggerated length as a makeshift pole vault. She landed squarely on the ledge, barely quick enough to grab her scythe before it plummeted to the ground below.
She took a moment to observe the copious amounts of ferocious death Satoshi managed to inflict within such a short amount of time just before she noticed another man creepying in behind him. Fierce protective instincts completely replaced anything resembling mercy or human decency. She would sooner be torn to bits than let anyone near him, though this idiot was not a particular threat. She turned sharply and brought the convex curve of the scythe's blade down hard upon the center of the man's head, with a well practiced precision, cleaving it in two. She always kept the convex and the concave edged of the scythe's blade sharpened for greater versatility that lead to just such lovely moments of deadly gruesome pleasure.
It was these moments of unbridled fury when her eyes blazed like fire and her blades lusted after blood, savagely desecrating the bodies of her opponents without a thought that earned her the epithet of "Demon Blacksmith." She saw the remainder of the men were starting to surround them. She let a taunting smirk grace her ironically soft lips as she saw the look of mortal fear dance in the eyes of the marksmen as they stood with their rifles shaking in their hands. She moved so her back was to Satoshi so nether of them would have their back open to these vermin cowards would would likely execute a dishonorable back-shot if given the opportunity.
"Hello, Bushido... did you miss me? Let's end this..."

"Ah, the burning wrath inside... how dare anyone attack my leader."
Before anyone even had a chance to check, a young lady dashed forward, aiming at Kianas chest with a long blade.
She had long, black hair and was wearing all black, her pale skin was the only thing that did not seem dark.
"Tha dint evn rhyme. Man, so lame."
This man was sitting on a rooftop a little farther away. Obviously, he had only watched until now.

"Aye Lassie ... I'll give you something burning alright."
The black-clad woman's blade was well met with Kiana's scythe, held in both hands like a common bo staff. She gave a sinister grin as she super-heated the scythe, now in direct contact with the girls blade, with her fruit ability. There was no way this girl possessed the signature alloy that Kiana had concocted in her studies, which meant the blade was probably steel and, thusly, it had a much lower melting point. If the girl did not withdraw her blade soon, it would become weak and brittle in a worthless, malleable state until it cooled.
"Rhyme? What? I think your little poetry club must have forgotten to inform you that they changed their meeting location for this time slot ... or are you so eager to join the fate of your fallen kin, Lassie?"
She stepped backward and spun the now white hot blade before using the captured momentum to make an uncommonly fast slashing attempt at the girls torso region with the back end of her scythe.

One second the girl was there, just waiting for the scythe to hit her, the next she was... gone, somehow.
In reality, of course, she had just ducked and run. But for everyone else, it looked almost like teleporting. Of course it did. She hadn't been visible, after all.
She looked at her sword, which was gleaming in her hands. Then she moved her long sleeve so it wasn't vivible for a moment, and it had disappeared.
"Fools will never see the beauty... of a rhyme not there."

"Call me a dumb 's much 's ya wan, Jass, but..."
The man stood up, now with a smile on his face.
"I dun see it! Geddit?"
He laughed loudly at his own joke. Upon realising the cold stare the woman, Jasmine, gave him, he stopped. But only to start complaining.
"Aw, wat? 't was funny! Ya jus dun hav humor."

((The bandit leader is in hiding, waiting to assess the situation))

Satoshi was grateful. Kiana had his back and she was unnaturally god at this. It had been a while since Todd that anyone was able to keep up with him. Satoshi then saw Kiana fighting another girl, most likely a bandit leader. Satoshi was about to charge foward when more bandits fired at once. He dashed to the side to dodge the bullets and headed for cover. 30 Ronin was no good on this uneven surface, he needed to return to land again. He dashed foward and then sliced through at least 3 bandits who were in his way, before jumping off the building on to the other buildings wall. He then dropped down with elegance and poise to cushion his drop. He then ran across and looked to Jim who was trying to reason with the bandits. The bandits all shot at him at once. Satoshi on the other hand, was going to wait for a bit before attacking on full swing. Kiana was fighting , but as he had learnt, Kiana hated to be disturbed when she was fighting.

The man in the skull mask was on hiding in the area. He wanted to fully assess the situation before making his move. The bandits had done well, to keep their ranks even though the power of the enemy was quite something to behold. He then looked to his side "El Segador, we need you to assist in certain matters." There was a giant man, who was not a giant, but a very big and burlyman. His face covered by a red demon mask. The man nods and then walks out of the hiding spot to go and begin battle. The man in the skull mask was grinning under his mask. They wouldnt even know how to stop Segador, it took alot of work to get Segador up after he was nearly killed in that butcher years ago. But the man in the skull mask, spared no expertise to get it fixed. And in the end, El Segador walked again.

"What the blazes?"
Kiana took a lower stance holding her scythe at guard as she scanned the area of the female aggressor who had suddenly disappeared. Just then she noticed Satoshi dodging bullets and leaping off the building. She heard shots fired as he landed but from her vantage point she couldn't see exactly what happened. She became a bit worried and it rather annoyed her that she even cared but there wasn't anything she could do to change that at this point. She didn't have time to play hide-and-seek with that pale woman any longer.
"Goddamnit..."
She dashed to the edge of the building and again used her scythe end to vault off of the edifice giving her a bit of a head start. Satoshi seemed a bit more reckless now ... which was actually her job. She would not step down from her well-worn post of reckless-berserker-idiot-of-the-day so easily. A few bandits had now taken notice of Satoshi and were readying their fire arms.
"No... Bushido....!"
She unsheathed her katana, its peculiar red markings pulsing with the demonic bloodlust of its very creation. She was now dual wielding her scythe and katana... which she actually hated to do, but she she needed the advantage of more metal surface area right now. She ran quickly doing a series of complex arial cartwheels, her blades elegantly turning in her hands to accommodate her acrobatics. She landed squarely in front of Satoshi, with her back to him, feeling rather guilty for getting in his way but she wasn't about to allow her exceedingly useful research partner to become perforated by idiots.
"Forgive my intrusion..."
The shots hand just been fired and her her dual wielding technique would allow her more surface area to perry the shots. The amazingly dense and hard alloy halted the trajectory of the shots, the projectiles themselves actually became dented or malformed, or even flattened, rather than leaving any kind of mark on her cold blades. In the fray, she only noticed a new marksman from her left a bit too late. She stepped back, barely in time for the shot to miss the side of her neck but the downward, oblique angle of its trajectory manage to graze the top of her right shoulder before embedding in the ground off to her right. She felt the slight burn of the superficial abrasion removing a few layers of it skin and the gentle swell of blood beginning to ooze from the damaged tissues, but she knew it was nothing serious. She allowed thermal energy to pulse through her body to instantly cauterize the wound, preventing infection. Her eyes were now blazing a pale white-blue as she offered the man a sadistic grin.
"My turn..."
She ran toward the other men who were attempting their next rounds of fire, using her scythe to cut through the barrels of their fire arms. She would deal with them later. She ran to the remaining marksman who had managed to hit her. She held her scythe in the crook of her arm and grabbed the barrel of his gun. She saw his eyes widen in terror as he scrabbled for the trigger. It was too late, she had melted the barrel, and the projectile and expanding gasses from the gunpowders exploding had no outlet, causing it to explode in his hands. She stepped back with her scythe, not offering to kill him just yet.
"What shall you do without your toy to hide behind, you worthless coward?"

Ranyx moved shakily to his feet. He was breathing heavily, and his hand was covering half of his face. He saw the hulking man appear out of nowhere and screamed a bloodlust filled roar. He disappeared, having Soru'd above the man, and spun in mid-air, bringing his foot down hard on the man's head from above. If he got hit, the sheer force of the kick should have plowed him into the ground. Like, several meters into the ground.

The men Kiana had attacked looked at her in an alerted way.... why weren't they absolutely in panic? It was as if they knew something...
They did know something.
"Laaame. As if Jass's gun let that happen..."
The young man obviously liked commenting on situations. When he would join the fight, no one seemed to be sure of... Not even the bandits....
Somewhere behind Kiana, someone wispered...
"Like the surface of the moon, glowing pale in the night, like the wind in the willows...."
There really was a swift air movement, and suddenly the voice was frightenly close to her back...
"... You're dead."
Something cool touched her back, obviously ready to pierce right through her...

Suddenly Kiana heard an odd bit of flowery words sprinkled delicately against the back of her neck. She then felt a cool blade against her back; her fury had blinded her somewhat to her surroundings. This wasn't the first time this had happened she was going to make damn sure that it would not be the last either. She sheathed her katana and mused to herself.
"Now where did that girl go? I think I found her missing poetry class..."
She leaned forward a bit, grasping her grounded scythe with both hands, as her legs gave way under her, her right leg going in front of her and her left leg going behind her, likely sliding under the stance of her attacker, as she fell into a right-leading spit. She had been leaning more and more forward during her descent, all the while she had been lifting her two handed grip on her scythe to arc it backward over her head. By the time she landed in her full spit, her torso was pressed neatly against her front leg, and her scythe aiming directly behind her, probably at the attackers torso height. She didn't know if the scythe would connect, and at the moment, she didn't care as her primary concern was to save her own skin.
After she managed to duck below the danger, she lifted her torso up a bit, her feet turning to accommodate a left-leading split as she begins to carefully twist toward the opposite direction to face her left leg and the direction of her attacker, all the while turning her scythe in a guarding rotation alongside her movements. She lifts her face, at last, to face the direction of the attack, her scythe held neatly at guard as her back leg began to break the split by curling behind her to ease peeling herself off the ground later when she was finally sure what the hell was going on.
"I think you may want to edit your verses, Laddie... the moons glow and the wind in the trees doesn't really bring death to mind... but, then again, I never had an ear for something as womanish and worthless as poetry, unless, of course, it is the sweet and soothing sound of my blade cutting the smooth, supple flesh of such a worthless creature as yourself... it's simply poetic. Shall I give you a demonstration, Laddie?"

Jim wasn't actually certain when the leaderman had managed to vanish out from infront of him; vanish out in awkward ways was usually more his business. Still, they'd done it alright, and he had to do something about it. Leaning back into the world of air, his door closed behind him and he temporarily vanished.

In the chaos he spotted Ranyx, who'd recovered from his age-storm and was currently attacking a pretty giant fellow. The farm-girl with the glowy weapons was tied up doing some acrobatics with some black-clad bandit chick, and the swordsman was not too far off from either of them. At the moment, Jim had no good idea of what he should be doing. Giving a shrug, The Stranger decided to help start clearing up the clutter.

One by one, bandits shouted out in surprise as they fell straight down, round trap-doors opening beneath their feet and slamming shut behind them seconds later. Soon, one falling bandit after the next, the field was mostly empty of the mooks. Only the giant one, the bandits fighting with Satoshi and Kiana on the roof, and the hidden leader were left; the rest were busy rubbing their asses and wondering where the hell they'd fallen into.

Stepping out of a door on the roof, Jim stood next to the commenty-bandit, who to that point had been making observations but not doing any fighting himself.

"I can do that too, you know," Jim pointed out. "In fact, I won't lose to you at lazily commenting from the sidelines. I'm really pretty good at it."

El Segador did not cower away from Ranyxs attack. In fact once the dust was clear, El Segador was not affected at all by the attack. He was still standing. , the kick not affecting him at all. In fact if Ranyx had noticed, it felt like steel. Segador then grabbed aimed Ranyxs leg and tossed him with pure power. Had that worked, he would follow with a laser beam from his eyes.

the man in the skull mask then chuckled "You people understand not what El Segador is, he is a cyborg, a very powerful one, forged by a master. He is our secret weapon, and today, i will show you." The man in the skull mask was aware of the man behind him "Your doors are quite annoying , but maybe this will help somewhat" the bandit leader then without looking behind stuck a weird looking walking stick against Jims torso. It was made out of seastone.

Some of the other bandits who were not defeated then swore "THIS IS BAD, EL SEGADOR IS HERE!!!!"

Satoshi saw the upcoming carnage. He also saw Kiana saving him. He was really alright, so there was no need, still it was a nice gesture. But this was weird, they had so many attackers. These must have been the bandits children. It looked as if the situation was quite chaotic, now with that new powerful looking man on the battlefield. Satoshi then dashed foward to Kianas side "We need to combine to beat that thing, simple attacks wont work, but yours willl, however i refuse to attack it form behind"

Kiana pulled herself to her feet and glanced over at Satoshi as gripped her katana tightly, feeling the extreme heat pulsing through the metal quickly bringing it to red hot temperatures.
"Bushido, If you did attack it from behind, I would stand in your way but i know you are not capable of such dishonor... How do you wish to defeat this? My blades and my blood shall always be in your service, Satoshi."

Satoshi was about to blush before he realised a monster was on the battlefield , Satoshi then said"i shall charge down the middle and engage him in close range, you can flank him on the right Kiana, ill pull back and barrage him to the best of my ability, just promise me you will try not to get hurt ?" Satoshi was concerned, however his eyes were still glimmering at the battlefield. He wanted to meet this opponent head on.

Looking down where he'd been struck with the seastone rod, Jim wondered if maybe he'd have been better off challenging the bandito to a more tame contest, perhaps a game of Taboo. Chew his indignity, he stepped back until the rod was no longer in contact with him.

"That's a right rude way to answer an earnest challenge," Jim informed the man, wondering if the bruise would be too visible or not later. "I'm done talking to you." Jim hopped backwards, stepping his way one tiny toor after another into the sky before finally vanishing into an air door.

Having no interest in being poked by skull-mask's cane again, The Stranger instead turned his attention to El Gigantor. Popping out of doorspace on the hulking cyborg's shoulder, he leaned up against it's head and whispered into it's ear:

"It's bad for your poor metal heart to trundle. Try a more graceful gait."

Kiana was a bit taken back by his request that she avoid being harmed. She suspected that Anubis must have really wanted the mineral to prompt Satoshi to express such concern about her health and vitality.

"Don't worry about me, Bushido. I didn't travel all this way just to be cut down by this over-sized, useless appliance. I will make sure your captain receives much of the geological treasures we find here..."

An admiring smile passed over her lips when she noticed his eyes focus so intently on the battle ahead. She took a brief moment to whisper lightly against his ear. "Be careful..." Her lips brushed briefly against his cheek before she dashed away, assured that his focus on the battle would not allow him to be distracted by her at this time.

Her eyes studied the the creature as her fury grew. She darted out at a wide angle in a series of handsprings and areal cartwheels to draw its attention away from Satoshi so that he would have a clear shot at the beast.

She reached the right flank of the cyborg, jumping carefully as she spun her heated scythe for momentum before swinging it in a wicked horizontal arc at the creatures torso, hoping to wound it or, at least, exposed some of it's inner circuitry, curtesy of the blades smoldering heat.
