Appearance: The Black Wolf is hidden under a long, black cloak that stretches from his ankles up to just under his neck. It has a hood, which he almost constantly wears, hiding his eyes, which are a dull shade of grey with a hint of silver. The cloak also covers his front completely so no one can see what he is wearing, but he usually wears a black, long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and black boots, so basically goth style. The lower half of his face can be seen and it almost always looks like he has not shaved in about a week. Stubble covers his chin all the way around his face and under his nose as a mustache is beginning to grow.
History: The early life of the Black Wolf is unknown. He simply appeared one day in Sabaody Archipelago and massacred a group of twenty World Nobles. There was only one survivor: A young noble boy. No one is sure why, but although the Black Wolf could have killed the boy, he simply left him alone. The marines sent in an Admiral to deal with the Black Wolf, but he was already gone. He began to travel the Grand Line gathering followers and calling himself a revolutionary. The next few months are considered a horror story by the marines. Within just a few months, the Black Wolf gathered an army of seven hundred. He destroyed several prominent marine bases, but did not kill all of the men. Instead he allowed the majority of the marines to escape, telling them to ask their superiors to just surrender. Finally, the marines caught up to him and a great battle ensued. The Black Wolf was doing well at first, but the marines had brought along an admiral. The Black Wolf's group managed to destroy about four of the marine's vessels, the marine admiral came out and with one move wiped out the Black Wolf's forces. Over five hundred of the Black Wolf's people were killed that day. The remnants of his troops pulled away and retreated. The admiral let them go, saying that the Black Wolf had allowed many of his friends to escape with their lives and so he would do the same. The Black Wolf disappeared and the admiral was stripped of his rank. The admiral then went home and now lives a quiet life there with his family. Meanwhile, many people thought the Black Wolf was dead and gone. All the marines knew was that the Black Wolf had personally destroyed two of the four marine ships that had been destroyed. After that they weren't sure what happened to him. And so the incident was closed and forgotten.
Five years later...the Black Wolf reappeared with a vengeance. He now had a force of well over two thousand. After he had gone into hiding, the Black Wolf had looked for strong men and women who had been hurt greatly by the current regime and wanted to create a new World Government. After the Black Wolf had destroyed a marine base, the marines sent in a great force to stop him. Once more, a battle ensued, but this time, through a series of tactical maneuvers, the Black Wolf escaped without losing a single vessel. He didn't destroy any vessels either, but one sustained sever damage that sunk it the following day. The marines then went to their base that had been destroyed and found many of their men still there, alive. One of the men even claimed to have fought with the Black Wolf himself and survived. He told the other marines that he had asked the Black Wolf what he was going to do and he had been told, "I am going home." Back at the Marine HQ they projected the path they believed the Black Wolf was taking. According to their predictions, he was heading for the West Blue. So they now believe he lives somewhere in the West Blue. Despite this they couldn't find him again when the looked for his fleet. He was just gone. Now the marines are watching the West Blue very carefully, waiting for a sign that the Black Wolf does truly live there and is there now.
Personality: A calm, dangerous, unpredictable person, the Black Wolf is difficult for anyone to describe. He does seem to hold life as precious since he allows so many marines to survive after the battle is over. One marine, who had seen him during a battle and after the fight, described him as an, "...unstable man. The Black Wolf looks as vicious as his namesake when in battle, but he looks sad and almost tearful when a large group of people, marines or revolutionaries, are killed. After the fight is over, the Black Wolf is very calm, but still projects an aura of sadness, before he told myself and my friends that we were free to go."
