History:

Soamy Nutey was a happy child. Both of his parents were there for his entire life. He lived a carefree life on a distant island in the North Sea. Soamy dreamed of being in the Navy and catching thousands of pirate criminals and getting a gold medal as the local Navy officers often did.

One day while Soamy was in the yard building his collection of rock types, Soamy's parents were attacked by a rogue, accused to be, pirate. His parents were killed in the attack and Soamy never has been the same since. Soamy's parents, who had planned for this event, for some odd reason, gave Soamy to the local Navy officer, Redfoot. Redfoot was a rough and tough officer with a bad attitude and a disturbed past. Which seemed to move onto Soamy at the lonely age of 13.

Soamy, even more expressing his dream to be a great Navy officer, trained with Redfoot day and night and Redfoot became a father figure to Soamy. By the age of 15, Saomy spent more and more time alone and training in his life. Soamy learned that Redfoot was a great weapon designer and tinkerer, Soamy found that it would be useful to learn the skill as well, and to his extensive training soon mastered the skill. Soamy once asked Redfoot who were the killers of his parents and Redfoot gave a shrug to the head and continued on as if he never asked him.

At the age of 16, his final year as a innocent teenager, Redfoot was given an assignment to find Luashoi, the pirate who was presumed to kill Soamy's parents. Soamy was eager to see the head of his parents being chopped of in day's clear sight. Redfoot gave his last comments to Soamy and went off to the mission. Soamy stayed back and trained as he usually did everyday until the village bell came to a ring, he ran to the town's centre. To see that Redfoot was being lynched for treason and conspiracy to commit murder. Soamy screamed and shouted as his new father was being hanged. Yet, His worst dream came true, and Redfoot was killed.

Soamy, sent into a whirlwind of emotions, became a shut-in, he never came outside until one faithful day Redfoot's supervisor, Ghost, came to his house one day. Ghost was sorry to explain that the one who was responsible for his parent's death was Redfoot and his secret gang of underground pirate crew. Soamy wasn't surprised, as the must have had a good reason to kill Redfoot. Ghost advised him to join the Navy but, Soamy changed his mind and wanted to become a Pirate instead. Ghost was shocked but, let the kid be.

Soamy swam to a near Navy outpost and snuck into a information center to find a near pirate crew who was stationed in the North sea. As he was leaving, Soamy saw a green glowing fruit and decided to eat it, as he hadn't ate for 3 whole days while swimming to the Navy outpost. He underwent a strange transformation. He was succumb to the Devil Fruit, "Understand". He was unaware that he became a devil fruit wielder at the time so, he decided to swim back into the ocean and slowly sunk to the bottom of the sea.

The pirate crew who he was going to join found him and brought him unto the ship. The captain of the ship asked him where he came from and he responded with the village to the south. They dropped him off back unto land and said farewell. Soamy thought to himself that, that act of kindness was the kindest thing that happened to him in a couple of years, which furthered his decision to be a pirate.

He ran back into his home and grabbed Redfoot's prized possession " The Kadachi ", which Redfoot created himself. He learned how the weapon operated by studying it day and night. As soon as he completely understood the mechanism of The Kadachi, his right hand transformed into one. Soamy was scared, but he pondered the thought and remembered reading somewhere that there are Devil Fruit's of strange shapes and colors that give the eater a special ability but, lose the ability to swim forever.

Soamy embraced all of his new abilities and is now a learning pirate. But, now must find out what to do next. What to do next?

Personality:

Due to his recent short comings in life, Soamy has destroyed his lovable, playful, happy-go-lucky, child mannerisms for a stone cold loner, with no friends or family. He is unemotional towards many things as of now. He, as still being somewhat of a teen, is a little perverted. The only time you can see a smile on his face is when he is with a girl. In battle, he believes in: Get the job done by all means necessary. He shows no mercy in the heat of battle.

effect: Soamy may transform his right hand into any weapon as long as he meets these three conditions; understand the complete mechanism design of the weapon, has held the weapon for 5 seconds at least once, and has a image of the weapon in his head at the time.

Special Abilities:

1) Kadachi Transform: Using his tinkering and quick wits, Soamy can use the Kadachi's transforming ability in tight situations, such as when an enemy is out of reach, Soamy can transform his Kadachi into Nodachi Form to reach his opponent.

Learned Techniques:

1) Double Handed Kadachi: Use the Understand Fruit to transform Soamy's right hand into a Kadachi and wield the original Kadachi in his left for a dual-wielded attack.

2) Weapon Scan: Using his extensive knowledge of weapons and tinkering, Soamy may scan an enemy's weapon without touching it to fulfill one of the three Understand Fruit's conditions in order to transform his hand.

3) Waka Pistol Whip: Soamy uses the Understand Fruit's ability and turn Soamy's hand into a gun and sneakily take out a enemy by pistol whipping an enemy from behind.
